This time of the year, restaurants in north Scottdale are pretty quiet...and it was that way at The Belmont. However, our service was excellent and so were the apps. We only went there for their Happy Hour...which has an odd time, 3:00-4:30.

Great food and atmosphere. Food quality exceptional and reasonably priced. Drink prices are at a premium. So glad to have this restaurant in North Scottsdale

We went to Belmont last night for our anniversary. We had not been to this restaurant and had wanted to try it since it opened earlier this year. We had a 6 PM reservation and it wasn’t terribly busy, but by 7 PM indoor and outdoor seating were completely full. Staffing and service were spot on. We had the artichoke appetizer and I haven’t tasted anything like it in my life. If you like artichokes, you will love this! My husband ordered the lobster risotto and he was very happy with it. I ordered the miso glazed Hawaiian Ono. It had a delicious broth that would have gone nicely with a slice of toast, but none was offered. Not a big deal. I appreciated the the dish, also served with clams, but would have enjoyed an oiler fish like black cod even more. We finished with coconut ice cream. It was so rich and divine. A perfect way to end our meal. All of the flavorings were well done. Recently, we’ve been to several restaurants that have over salted the food. That wasn’t the case here. We look forward to coming back again.

We have had another excellent meal here and will continue to eat here monthly. Service excellent and glad to have another wonderful upscale restaurant in our neighborhood

Okay, so the food and service were outstanding. Parking is easy. I’m going to take this opportunity to complain about something the restaurant has no control over. I’m 74 and I hate getting in line or having to deal with fellow ‘boomers’. The guy at the table next to us. Probably older than me. Sent the wine back. Sent the oysters back. Generally you could tell he was just a big pain in the butt. Credit to the management to do everything to address what were probably his baseless complaints. He was the kind of guy who probably had a high level management career for years. Probably retired now so the only way he can flex that old management muscle is to aggravate hard working restaurant employees. Again, my wife and I found everything excellent. And we dine out five days a week.

We had Cesar salad, big eye tuna roll, and shrimp ceviche as appetizers. These were all excellent. For dinner we had the lobster risotto, and the Chilean Seabass, the lobster risotto portion is a little small but the Chilean Seabass with the peas is outstanding. They were very kind and made it without salt for me and it was perfectly flavored. We also recommend the cheesecake and the apple tart. The cheesecake is an old-fashioned version with the sour cream topping, which is out of this world.

Staff was all very friendly and helpful. They had great food, drink, and wine recs. All the flavors paired perfectly and had a depth to them you don’t see at most places.

Sat outside in patio.. they are getting the outside cooler with misters, shade and portable coolers and have plans to enclose it. The oysters were perfect as was the octopus and mushroom raviolis. This is about our 10th time . The owner is on top of it and his wine guy Daniel is outstanding . Their manager alex is gracious and friendly . I am a fan
