My family and I have been to BBC several times, and it has always been a pleasant experience. My 93-year old mother and I made reservations at BBC for Easter Sunday. The ambience, as always, was lovely. We were seated outside. We both ordered the artichoke raviolis from the Brunch menu which was mui delicioso, and Malbec wine which is one of my favorites. It was also delicious. Very friendly and attentive server. I'll always come back to BBC. CLT
The food is great and the view is amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Love the Ahi salad and the poki. My husband loves the burger. We made a reservation through Open Table and had to wait about 20 minutes for an outside table. Not too bad considering it was Grand Prix weekend and Spring Break.
BBC is one of the best restaurants! We always have a great time there. Our recent visit was no exception. We sat outside and had a great view of the sunset. Our waitress could not have been sweeter. I had the flat iron steak and it was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms that came with it had a little heat to them. They were in a really tasty sauce. My husband had the seafood paella. Wow, it was really good!
We come to Belmont Brewing Co. frequently for weekend brunch, but this was the first time for dinner. As always, the view is great. Our server was very good. Very attentive and friendly. We all enjoyed out dinner. Will definitely be back.
We brought family members here for brunch. The food is well-prepared, but the choices are limited. Only moderately vegetarian friendly, and two of the four of us are vegetarians. Best thing on the brunch menu was Dave's Costa Rican, but the waitress wouldn't even ask the kitchen if we could substitute a burger patty for the ham for a guest who doesn't eat pork. Waitress was not helpful at all. They did honor our reservation, no problem.
Made on line reservations with ease. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was great, hot. View was great, noise level moderate. Great place for group get together. Enjoyable experience at reasonable prices.
You can't best the view.
We got the lobster ravioli and the salmon. Sooooo good!
Great service! We will be going back!
Title says it all.. Great view for lunch and brunch. And at night view of Long Beach Harbor Lights!
Other than the waiter who was really trying hard and very friendly, the whole experience was a disaster. Our party of five waited 45 minutes for our table having had reservations for two weeks and they knew we were celebrating a 21st Birthday. I'd asked for a nice table and appreciate that these requests can't always be filled but having waited 45 minutes to be seated, we were then seated at the worst table in the restaurant.
Waited another 40 minutes for our food. The only meal that was good was the Fish and Chips everything else (starters and mains) were all either under seasoned or so peppery they were literally inedible. Never written a bad review of anything before but feel strongly that you find somewhere else to eat.
A nice, well-priced place for a date. Put in reservations online and got seating outside, next to a heater. Was nice and warm, the food was great (I had the grilled pork loin chop). Only slight problem was that when we were ready to get our check, no waiters were to be found. Great Experience though!
A micro-brewery that serves good food and offers its customers unobstructed beach and ocean views. What's not to like?
Overall it was a very pleasant surprise and I hope to return
If you like the beach, food, and excellent beer,
then this is a great place to relax, meet up with friends, go on a date,
grab a light meal, watch the sunset, etc.
A comfortable blend if casual and nice.
I love this place!!
We choose the brewery because it was close to another event we were attending. We had a great waitress that knew the food and we were quite happy with the selections. It was a lovely night and we would definitely eat there again.
I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance for an evening dinner with friends. We were seated outside and it was a chilly night. The nearest heater was not functioning properly so we asked the waiter if we could move inside. She said there weren't any seats available. A member of the group went inside to see if there were other options. The manager came out and was so nice. He came up with a couple of options and told us how long it would take. Eventually, once other patrons finished their meal, we were moved to another table outside near a heater and the fire. It was wonderful! The manager there is exceptional and so kind about making us comfortable. Great food, great beer, and great atmosphere. I'd go back in a heart beat.
We have come here several times, and every time, we are never let down. Our last visit, we met my brother and sister in law, as well as their sister and her husband here at BBC for an early dinner date. Our waitress, sorry I did not get her name, was excellent! The guys were even able to have ribs for lunch, that are normally served for dinner. I always tend to order their brie and calamari...so good! We enjoyed the great view, and although it was a cool afternoon, they did have the patio heaters on.
Thanks for always taking care of us!
We had great service and a great view. But the food was nothing great. Had the fish tacos were so bland and tasteless. Everyone in he group tried them and thought the same thing. Friend has the blue cheese burger which was bland and in need of salt. Not the worse food, but nothing to get me to go back.
This was our first time at BBC and we found it to be a great place to relax with friends, enjoy the view with good food and beers. Mixed drinks were also tasty and wine is also available.
Servers were attentive and never rushed us. We had a perfect table on the patio with a 180 degree view of the beach. Plenty of good people watching. Black Forest ham eggs Benedict were great as was the fish and chips. Will definitely come back.
We wanted to enjoy New Year Day watching the sunset sitting outside with good friends enjoying great food. It was all that and more. We had the best table right in the front on the patio. The service was excellent and the bloody mary's very tastety. The tomato soup is a must for us each time we come... I think we started a new tradition
Great spot for tasty lunch...enjoyed outside dining. Attentive waitress. Varied menu selection. Something for everyone. Prices reasonable for amazing view.
The location, right on the beach, is quintessential California. The brews are very good but the food is a bit "ho hum". The wait staff are very pleasant and friendly.
The beer selection is always good, but we recently had a less-than-welcoming server. When one if us asked what she thought of a particular dish, she shrugged and just said it's "not her deal." She did this three times. In the bar, however, our bartender was awesome and really helpful.
There are three vegetarian options and only one vegan options that is basically a simple pasta and marinara sauce.
Went in on a cold Friday night. Enjoyed deliscious lobster bisque and fish and chips. The bar area was very busy - looked as if they had a lot of locals that head this way in the evenings. Food was plentiful and tasty. Server was just ok - did not check on the table too often. Obviously had many beers choices.
I was looking for a great spot for a "getting to know you" dinner. I'd heard a lot about Belmont Brewing Co, but had never really looked into dining here. I have to say, after having taken a flyer, I am now a fan. the food was terrific, but more importantly, the experience was amazing. Our server was extremely kind and helpful. We got there rather late, so things were slow and I am certain she was not happy about having one last group after a long shift. However, she was very attentive, took very good care of us, and I can't say enough. The view was great, I can only imagine what it would be like around sunset. The food was also wonderful, and very reasonably priced. I can't wait to eat here again!
We have been coming to Belmont Brew for several years and have always enjoy the view, food and service. It is a great place to be able to eat outside under umbrellas close to the ocean. We enjoy it every time. Our server Paige was outstanding. It was the day after Thanksgiving and the restaurant was packed but she kept up with all the service.
Go enjoy you won't be sorry.
My husband and I had lunch at BBC recently during a trip to LA. I'm a micro-brewery officianado and couldn't resist the draw of the country's oldest brew pub. The patio on the beach is superb. Service is top knotch. Food and brews are excellent. I recommend the Ahi salad. The stout was excellent with plenty of those coffee and chocolate notes and they were serving a "guest" IPA that was also first rate.
We always have a great time at Belmont Brewing. The view is always perfect but be sure to sit outside. Inside maybe a bit noisy at sometimes. Service and food are always great.
Great morning walking to support "Be The Match" Foundation. Got hungry. Had reservation here for lunch. WOW! Beautiful venue on the beach, amazing food and great service!
Despite a rather cool and breezy day, lunch on the open patio with its glass paneled screen/walls was very comfortable with direct views on to the beach and the harbor beyond. Very friendly service and excellent home brews along with the good food made for a very enjoyable lunch for us and our guests from Overseas.
Our favorite in Long Beach. You can NEVER go wrong. Such fun people and great food. A neighborhood gem. Shhhh, don't tell anybody.
but this time, we had to move in because there was no heat lamp that worked near our very windy table location. And to my disappointment, the blankets that Management used to provide, are no more. The food and the service were outstanding as ever, though.
Its food is good not great but the staff is usually very responsive and the view and being on the beach are great. Great beer selection.
This restaurant has the view and the food.
The fmaily went for a 21st birthday celebration. BBC knew the occasion as I noted it in the reservation. The staff was pleasant, very patient. Good food and beer recommendation. The bartender sent over a complemetary drink also. Sat on the outside patio, heater was on and it was beautiful.
Took my niece and two others to celebrate her 23 birthday. We all had a good time.
Great place to take people from inland places who revel in sitting and looking at the ocean. A real treat.
I went to BBC with a group of friends before a night out. As always, the food was great (I had the shrimp enchiladas) and the service was fast and friendly. Since it was October, we tried BBC's pumpkin beer for the first time. We all agreed that this might have been the best pumpkin beer that any of us of has had. Sit on the patio and enjoy the ocean view and sunset.
My husband proposed to me on the beach between the Belmont pier & the lifeguard stand 1.5 years ago, & we ate dinner at this restaurant after. So I thought it would be nostalgic for us to have lunch there on our 1st wedding anniversary. :-) The several items I've had there were all very good. I especially like the spinach artichoke dip. The patio is a bit cramped, but it doesn't dampen how enjoyable it is to eat out in the warm sun (the tables do have umbrellas), overlooking the beach & ocean. Parking is adjacent off Termino (between the pool & the pier) for a small hourly fee.
this restaurant is a casual relaxed place. the people are friendly and the staff is great. the restaurant is clean and friendly atmosphere. it's a little tricky to find the place. you actually have to walk towards the beach to find out. but that was fine. it was a beautiful day.
the food is fresh and we'll prepared. remember this is a brewery not a 5 star restaurant. oh, and the beer was good too. I liked the day that after you eat you can walk along the boardwalk our the beach. I recommend this place for a casual day at the coast.
