The food was amazing! I asked for recommendations and they did not disappoint. Pork belly clay pot and the broken noodles are amazing! Order the mushrooms and spring rolls as an appetizer. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

This is my favorite restaurant in Phoenix. The Pho is gluten free and an incredible hangover remedy. This place is such a good vibe, incredible food, great drinks, and they play good music every time I come in.

I would only go for drinks. Food is overpriced and mediocre, our server wasn’t very friendly, the menu has no descriptions of the dishes, the building was freezing cold. Drinks and ambiance were nice.

The food was amazing and we loved the feel of the restaurant. We didn’t realize the late night reservation was only a limited late night menu of fryer items. We want to come back and try the full menu.

Hair in my salad...ugh! Fried spring rolls were ok. Fried chicken bao bun was very good. Steak kebabs were good. pork fried rice very good, probably the best item I ate here. The ambiance was dark and dank...I would go again but maybe to their new location in Gilbert and see how that is.

I brought my crush here on date night and the experience was superb. I may have ordered a 3rd Laura Palmer cocktail. Just get the crab crepe, you'll be glad you did. We are now ruined for fried chicken anywhere else. Stupid good food and drinks. Our server provided the most perfect experience and made us feel welcome. Thanks for setting a sexy tone for the rest of date night.

Loved this little hideaway of a location. Super nice staff. Extremely attentive. Very kind to recommend certain dishes. Food was well prepared and came out pretty quickly. I guess I would say it was slightly pricey given that we ordered the Pho Ga & sautéed portabello & one glass of wine and it was $70, but not many places with a cool vibe like this, so it was worth it. A little underwhelmed with the pho and recommended portobello entrée (which wasn’t so substantial that I would’ve said it’s a sharing size)…my companion is from Vietnam herself, so maybe a high bar for their fare to impress her taste buds (just a little simple in flavor; portabello had just one savory note that didn’t wow me, and Pho was just okay). Still, I’d recommend, as there are a number of other dishes on the menu that sounded like they would be good, and I’d like to give them a try in a future visit.

Been here once prior to this visit and food was tastefully done. This visit was not very good… everything we ordered was heavily salted except for the bao buns. We only returned one item as we didn’t want to come off as complainers. Service was very good and staff was friendly.

Lots of great vegan and vegetarian options, I had the horchata which was lovely. We came for dinner and shared the green papaya salad, fiery braised jackfruit, and jasmine rice. Great spice on the jackfruit, unlike other places in Phoenix which have "spicy" menu options that tend to be bland, Belly nailed it! Excited to come back and try other options on their menu.

The food at Belly was incredible!!! The service was good. We really liked the guy that kept checking on us even though he wasn’t our server. It was cool to see a servers work as a team and help each other when it gets busy instead of just helping themselves. It was a overall great dinner. Also, LOVED the open kitchen and seeing the cooks work. It was awesome seeing the food being made and watching them work

The food at Belly was amazing! The flavors were mouthwatering, and serving size was perfect. The presentation of the food was nothing flashy or over the top, just good food plated to be eaten. The cocktails are both gorgeous and delicious, although a little heavy on the ice. Belly is a really small restaurant, and they are up front about that. We had reservations for the patio, which worked out nicely as it is on the east side of the 2nd floor, allowing ample shade and with the misters going it was comfortable even though the AZ temp was in the 100's. The stools are tiny and not terribly comfortable if you are a person with a larger rear end. I can't say much about the overall ambiance, as I really didn't see much. When you walk in, the downstairs is very dimly lit with a bar and a couple of stools. We were greeted quickly and taken up the stairs, which end at an indoor seating area and the patio. Our servers were very attentive for the first half of our visit, but then seemed to disappear and took an extended time to come back and remove empty plates, refill water and take our additional drink orders. Although that was a bit of a miss, the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Payment at the end of our meal was easy to split and done quickly. I really enjoyed the food and drinks and think Belly is definitely worth returning too.

The wait staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Two friends I hadn't seen in awhile had met for an early dinner, but the music was so loud we could barely hear each other. People enjoy getting together over a meal; I just don't know why music in a restaurant has to over power conversation.

Overall, our dining experience at this restaurant was a mix of highs and lows. The appetizers, including the papaya salad and eggs, were delightful, showcasing flavors that were well-balanced and appetizing. However, the braised pork belly, the centerpiece of our meal, fell short due to an excessive saltiness in the soy sauce-based sauce. Unfortunately, this overpowering saltiness hindered our enjoyment of the dish and left us with a diminished appetite. While the restaurant demonstrated potential with its appetizers, the disappointing execution of the pork belly was a letdown. We hope the restaurant takes our feedback into account to refine its flavors and ensure consistency throughout its menu.

It is a small place indoors on the second floor!...be warned if stairs are not doable. There is an outside patio upstairs too. Service is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable Food is unique.....I am Asian, and a foodie having eaten in almost all the major cities in the world....the cuisine I encountered is different, lovely and very good....it was a little salty for my taste but I am on a low salt diet!!! This is a little gem...recommend it highly and I and many of my friends will be back...

Imaginative cocktail menu, but the drinks tasted less interesting than they sounded. Nothing bad about the drinks but flavors were not very nuanced. Expect more for the price. Menu: we tried a variety of plates- steak skewers, pork belly hot pot, vegan jackfruit bao, veggie curry, green papaya salad, crispy fish. My table mates were in agreement that majority the food we tried was adequate but not amazing. The exception was the pork belly hot pot, which was outstanding and came with a side of rice. The vegan bao (on happy hour special- $8 for a single bun) was also enjoyed quite a bit by those who tried it. The curry, steak, and salad were serviceable enough but I again expected more nuance from plates ranging $18-32. Flavors were flat on the curry and one of my dining partners felt the veggies were served undercooked. The crispy fish ($32) entree received mixed reviews: two of us thought the fish tasted not-quite-fresh. I found it to be not at all crispy, and the accompanying green onion (was it a salad? Was it a garnish? Who could say?) And radish/daikon salad left something to be desired- a little bit of spice or garlic, perhaps? There was apparently cilantro in the green onion which topped the fish, however I didn't detect it. I had a Gin FZA cocktail, which had cilantro as a fairly forward flavor so maybe I was immune to the subtlety of it in the fish dish. The three small pieces of fish could have been filling for one person, however two were left on the plate. The service was fine for the first half of our meal, but when our server went off duty (without saying goodbye or telling us who would be taking care of us in her absence) we were left on our own until we had to flag someone down to ask for our bill, coming in at just under $200 for four diners. A price at which I expect better service and food quality. Overall an underwhelming experience. Two of us ordered more food at our next destination where we went to seek out more flavorful cocktails.
