   This was our first time to Belly - the service and environment is wonderful, but the food was not great. It seems to be highly covered in fish oil and overall just had a very fishy taste to most items that we got (not all were actual fish dishes). We tried a good variety of the menu (spring rolls, Beef Pho, Herb Salad, Fried chicken, skewers etc.

   Food was excellent- perfect for sharing several items. Skewers were great as were spring roles wrapped in lettuce. Salad options were great. Loved the Caesar salad and rice noodle salad

   I went to Belly last night for my birthday with another couple. I chose this restaurant because we enjoyed the food and service from PJ at the bar so much the last time my husband and I visited. While we weren’t in a rush, by any means, the whole dinner took 3 hours to complete. I’m not sure if it was a bartender/server/food service issue, or a backed up kitchen issue that took such a long time for the food to come out. It’s took over 30 minutes to get 4 drinks, an appetizer of Elote and the meat skewers out. Additionally, we asked for the meat skewers trio and they were out of one of the meats. They served it to us without letting us know and just made up for it in the other 2 meat portions. Thank goodness the food redeemed itself. Next came the soft shell crab bao. Delicious!!! One of the best things I’ve ever tasted! Short ribs, yum! And the pork fried rice was tasty too. By then we were all almost empty with drinks and finally greeted and offered the rice dessert. 35 minutes later we were empty on drinks and the rice dessert came out. It was way too long! I’m all about having a nice dining experience but this was not a 3 hour time worthy dinner.

   Poor service. After 40min and following the waiter/bartender taking the order of an adjacent customer/party who arrived after us he finally stopped back by our table. We left rather than wait even longer for any entree order. Very disappointed as this establishment had received good reviews.

    We were so impressed with our dinner there on Valentine’s Day that we went back to celebrate our marriage! So impressed the manager and servers remembered us. We keep experimenting with the menu and are consistently impressed with the attention to detail and inventive combinations of flavors. The Bao buns were absolutely fantastic as was the short rib and the pork belly. Our servers were incredibly sweet and very attentive. Five star service all the way around!

    The appetizers at this restaurant are phenomenal!! We had the street corn, green papaya salad (That was REALLY SPICY), and the green beans which were probably some of the best i've eaten ever. If you go to Belly, just do appetizers because the thought behind each of the dishes was fantastic. Even the drinks we ordered were great! The disappointment for us came with the entrees. The Pho was very fragrant with some spice that took over the whole dish, and the chicken breast was actually lacking flavor. It came as a surprise to us as how the entrees were not as good as compared to the entrees. Would definitely recommend to have drinks and appetizers, but skip the entrees.

    Dinner was so good. The Vietnamese spring rolls, the vegetables, the fried chicken, etc. everything was amazing. Our server was super great. And the atmosphere is really cool. Be perfect for a date night or friend get together.

    We were told there were heaters on the patio, but really the table we were at did not receive much heat at all. The heaters are oddly placed and not really over some tables. Several tables (including ours) had to stay bundled up while eating and when my husband went in to ask about moving inside the hostess was rude about the situation. We saw her acting short and rude to another family as well. There are ways to politely explain that the empty tables inside are for upcoming reservations. Aside from the hostess who needs some coaching, the server was excellent and the food is delicious. There is a great variety of food that caters to gluten and dairy-free diets as well which is fabulous. I'd just caution anyone from reserving an outdoor table in the winter expecting to benefit from heaters.

    This place is incredible!! I’m so glad a restaurant of this caliber is finally in our neighborhood! Food is spot on!! We sat at the bar with PJ the bar manager/bartender and had amazing service! Highly recommend and will be back!!!

    Phenomenal food in a great up-and-coming neighborhood. We drove 25 minutes to get there and it was worth every minute. The food is delicious and the service is on point. Definitely one to check out. We will be back.

    We went with some friends for NYE. The kitchen was out of the NY strip steak and roasted chicken which was what the majority of our table wanted to order, but our server was absolutely fantastic at helping find an alternate dish based on what our hearts were set on. The food and cocktails were good, the service was excellent and we look forward to trying it again after they’ve been open for a bit and the kinks of opening a new place are worked out. :)

    Not good! Service was horrible, food was only memorable because it was awful. Cold steak, fried chicken was undercooked and other pieces dry, Caesar salad was nasty. Food came out segmented and one of our members waited 20 minutes after the rest of us had our meals. Not one of our table had a great meal. Wine was good! They throw on a 20% tip for a table of 6 and then provide lackluster service.
