Bells at Killcare Boutique Hotel, Restaurant & Spa
From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a host ,who made us feel comfortable in a lounge area.
Then we were lead to our table, waiter introduced himself and immediately brought us water.
Then wine and food orders were taken and also included reccomedations by the waiter.
We were promptly served our entree's which were delicious.
The main courses were also tasty.
After a brief time ,we received our desserts, which were delectable.
During our lunch, our water and wine were topped up.
The whole experience was wonderful and we will be returning and possibly take advantage of the accomodation.
Great place and food was good, however I don’t like ordering a steak and just get a steak, I feel it should come with at lest a vegetable, the sides we had were nice and the dessert good
Great food , lovely and helpful staff. Were not rushed and food came at the right intervals
Lovely, Peaceful and relaxing hotel with lovely gardens. The Restaurant atmosphere was lovely and the food was amazing. We will definitely be returning again.
This was our second time dining at Bells and we were a little disappointed. The food was a tad bland and underwhelming, especially for the price tag attached. When we stayed and dined previously we had a lovely meal, and the ambience was great. Perhaps being a weeknight affected things. The wines are always good, as is the service. But would not be so quick to return next time we are in Killcare.
Beautiful venue, exceptional food and thoughtful and professional wait team. Highly recommend booking in for the Sunday Family Feast.
Our meal was delicious in particular the desserts, the service was very polite and attentive and we had a lovely happy evening for our anniversary
Ambience was great. Hampton like. Food was good but not great.
I had the risotto and was very disappointed that it was tasteless. I had to put much salt and pepper on it to be able to eat it. The noise was terrible and the dessert was definitely overpriced.
Amazing food but service was lacking for the price point.
The service, food and location were all excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful, suggesting dishes and wine from the menu. We had a selection of entrees, a main, sides and dessert to share including oysters, the meat plate, rainbow trout, roast potatoes, mix greens and a chocolate and hazelnut mousse with gelato. Everything was amazing and we will definitely be back. Recommend asking for a table next to the window overlooking the garden.
Beautiful locally sourced fresh food, friendly attentive staff, an extensive drinks list.... A fantastic night out for our anniversary
Perfect dinner for a perfect getaway at Bells Killcare . Pasta dishes were delicious and well presented. Gelati and panda cotta desserts were generous and yummy. Service was efficient and non intrusive.
Great value for Tuesday night special, as the food was really good
Excellent ambience, food and wine to celebrate our wedding anniversary
Lovely lunch was so enjoyable. Staff very friendly and service was great. Love the food and the atmosphere so nice. Would definitely love to stay for a few days also.
The degustation menu was excellent, good choices, with great service and flexibility for allergies. The pace was very good, plenty of food served over a couple of hours. Highly recommended.
Loved Bells, setting beautiful, service wonderful and food delicious.
Not being from the Central Coast it was our first time at Bells and I was thoroughly impressed with all facets of the establishment. We will be back and will recommend Bells to whoever I advise CC restaurants to.
I was disappointed. I’ve lived on the coast for years and Bells has a great reputation. Service was great but very limited menu both for locals night and spring menu. Food was good but definitely not outstanding which was what I expected. Not sure what all the hype is about.
The staff were excellent and very attentive. Food was delicious and the staff explained everything. Highly recommend and would look at returning in the future.
Good food and friendly staff the food fairly roved but wine really expensive
A little underwhelming to be honest - nothing ground breaking.
Great lunch with a tasty menu and fantastic service
This place is top notch. Superior quality every time and the service is excellent. Incredible wine list. Love the locals night.
Bells was fantastic !
My husband and I went there for a beautiful Wedding Anniversary dinner and we were looked after from the minute we walked in the door. Service was on point and food did not disappoint. Highly reccomend 😊
I love going to Bells. Outstanding service, outstanding food as always and it’s why I keep going back!
Such a nice way to spend time with friends. Thank you
Enjoyable evening, tasty fare & attentive friendly staff. Recommend😊
We've had lunch here several times over the past 5 years and enjoyed the range of meals and excellent service.
This was our first dinner at Bells to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary.
The service was friendly but not exceptional as previous visits. Eg.
• No complimentary chef starter was provided 😦
• We were not offered any additional bread 😯
• The empty bottle and plates were not cleared promptly even though the wait staff had been back a couple of times to top up the water 😐
• The wait staff had no knowledge of our visit and special dessert request even though it was noted in the online booking 😕
The dinner options was somewhat limited and pricey.
We shared a main sized pasta dish for entree. The noodles were very long and thick and quiet difficult to eat. The tomato based sauce was lacking seasoning and required a good hit of sea salt and pepper. No parmesan cheese or ground pepper was offered 😣
The flavours and presentation of the mains was very good.
The dessert range is good. I had the 3 scoops of gelato/sorbet. It was delicious, but the accompanying biscotti was way to thick and almost a tooth breaker 😐
My wife had the cassatta which we've had many times previously and is her favourite. Unfortunatley, this chef has changed it 😯 the raspberry centre was very small and the pistachio praline has been replaced by a biscuit crumb 😣
The latte coffee was ok but no accompanying biscuit was served as in the past 😣
The ambience was ok but unfortunately there was a table of two nearby that had an annoying loud laugh and a frequent 'smokers cough'.
Overall we had an ok time but think lunch is a better experience. We only hope that the chef / management hasn't changed the lunch menu too much.
Lovely meal in a beautiful setting with a delightful waitress- what more could you ask?
The room was a little cold and the food was good but not exceptional; in particular the duck was tasteless and I regretted ordering it. The service was good.
Incredible service, absolutely delicious food and wine, perfect ambiance, comfy seats for a pregnant lady!
Thank you for the excellent service, special attention to making our occasion great and including a young child. Much appreciated.
Just a great place to have a meal - the food and the wine list are exceptional and the service is always first class. Thank you.
We have been guests of Bells for many years. The food & service is always excellent. Possibly the best restaurant on the Central Coast.
Food was nice but menu limited - service was excellent and ambience very pleasant
Locals night at Bells on Tuesdays delivers value plus with two courses and a glass of wine for $45 per head. There was no compromise with the quality of the food and adding a dessert is just $10 extra. There is no better quality and value than this on the coast. Very happy to recommend Bells restaurant.
An excellent evening for our group of 10 on the "locals night". The staff were very attentive and the food was amazing, with a good choice for everyone. We had a great time and would certainly recommend Bells to everyone.
Had 14 guests for the family feist on Sunday and returned with my wife this week for locals night.
We are always greeted warmly. Food and wine are extremely good.
The level of service is consistently high.
