crispy Spanish doughnuts, dulce de leche, salted chocolate sauce
paella, english pea, manila clam, calçot, baby turnip, piquillo sofrito
olive oil-poached, gulf prawn, orange, garlic, chili, grilled bread
The appetizers were quite good but the paella was the worst we have ever eaten.
Bland, tasteless, stodgy..one had to search for the seafood with the exception of a few shrimp on the top.
We were all very disappointed and will not recommend Bellota
Been here a few times. Delicious wine and tapas, service consistently on point. Love this place!
Great time - money we’ll spent. Food is fun and delicious
High quality Spanish food; great, lively space. Excellent for small groups wanting to share, relax, and try something new, but easy. Our group had 3 Spanish food newbies wo were very happy with our evening.
For a Puertorrican with Spain Heritage, the food taste good but it is not Spaniard traditional food. It's a re-interpretation of Spanish Tapas and Food.
One of the best Spanish restaurants we’ve ever been to, including when we visit Spain. Great food, great service, wonderful cocktails.
Not traditional Spanish. More modern flavors. Good but not quite what I was expecting. Zarzuela ( now closed and chef retired) was my standard for excellence in Spanish food
We were forced to sit at bar seatings even though we explicitly choose regular seating. When we asked, they said we were late. They were right, we were late for 19 minutes, but they called us and we confirmed we were parking and going to be there in 2 minutes. This was so disrespectful.
We got the animal style patatas bravas, crochetas and paella with chicken and chorizo, also sangria. Tapas were great, sangria was also great, but paella was average. Try Teleferic Barcelona if you can, for the best paella in bay area. Lastly we got churros. It was also great!
Always a great experience and wonderful service. Had a lovely time with family for a aunts birthday.
Every dish was outstanding as always. A very noisy night, however.
Appetizers were delicious! Loved the Gin and tonic menu. We got the vegetarian paella. I had heard good things about the paella, and I’m guessing the non-vegetarian ones are better.
Perfect place to grab an awesome dinner before an event at the Chase Center. Only 1.2 miles away and the food taste just like you were in España 🇪🇸.
The food was delicious during the dinner. Unfortunately I felt sick (stomach ache) a few hours later.
Waiter was great and food was excellent.
Loved tha charismatic wait staff, kitchen, and the delicious food. Sangria was delish, the Brussels sprouts were to die for, and how could you possibly go wrong with churros?
Good food and great environment. The server was very friendly and helpful. We had a great time!
Overall the experience was good. The place has a fun environment with the live entertainment even the with noises from other tables. Service was nice with the food enough time between courses. Some plates were better than others specially the pulpo was over cooked what makes it rubbery
What a fantastic place! From the hostess greeting us to the food and bartender ! Simply the best.
Thank you team Bellota !
Amazing service from each person!
Food seasonal delicious. Huckleberries in sauce for pork chop a stand out.
Very nice experience but extremely loud. Not for dates or small parties who want to have a conversation. Food is delicious and authentic. Service could be more attentive. Sweet gesture for a birthday celebration at hte ned of our meal was much appreciated. Overall very good.
I LOVE Bellota! It's one of my favorite restaurants in SF! Great for all occasions!
Rafael (server), sommelier and wine were fantastic! Cheese, olives and bunuelos were good too. Paella and tortilla were flavorless, don’t order.
Food great! Nice menu and service. Thank you all!
There was a piano bar this time around. Way too loud.
Food not as good as before. Will not use open table unless I can earn points.
Exquisite decor and ambiance, enhanced by the live music; impeccable attentive and friendly service; absolutely delicious food and wine/drinks list; highly recommend the Gin Tonic, Spanish-style, one of my favorite beverages!
The food is always good and the servers at Bellota come around at the right times. Thank you for a good experience every time.
Had a great time, as always!
Rafael was an excellent waiter! And they were very accommodating to us. Grateful for a great dinner, excellent service and an awesome evening .
One of my favorite restaurants in the city! Always great
The real deal if you want true Spanish tapas
We received excellent service from Kim. All the suggestions were on pointe!
I was visiting from out of town and made an 8:45 reservation. Upon arrival we were told kitchen shuts in 5 mins. We had to quickly decided our order. Somellier was very helpful in picking wine and didn’t try to rush us unlike other servers who were very clearly in a rush. If the last order was so soon, they should’ve informed me of that when I made the reservation. They also forgot to bring the dessert we asked for and when we checked they said everyone is gone and we basically need to leave. Food was amazing but besides that nothing else seemed great.
Bellota is a great for many occasions tapas place, food is really good, but a bit on the pricey side, as we all know the spirit of tapas food is to keep it a reasonably low price food.
Great time - service was on point. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for and the special, off-menu steak was amazing.
Highly recommend. Order your paella first though so it comes out when you finish tapas!
Delicious food, beautiful presentation and all the service staff was wonderful. Rafael was so attentive and made our dining experience so fun!
Need more cocktail drinks than gin. Lamb dish was mediocre. Tapas were great.
