I took myself here for dinner on a Sunday night and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of my meal and service. I have been to several Italian restaurants and I even lived in Italy for 2 years. Bellissimo is one of the best Italian restaurants I have visited. I will definitely be coming back.

Immensely charming service, quiet atmosphere, white tablecloths, killer red sauce. Your mileage may vary, but this is the sort of Italian restaurant I (Italian family, Jersey born) am conditioned to expect.
I've only been once, so I'll save a star on the excellent food until I've sampled more of the menu. For what it's worth, every bite I sampled from my girlfriend's plate was just as good as what I ordered.
A tad pricey, but it's not like they're hiding that from you. It isn't S'barro.
The place is small and the seating a little cramped. It appears to draw an older crowd. That said, the food is very, very good and the prices are very reasonable. It is authentic in an old school way. We would much rather come here than go to a Great American Restaurant outlet, for example.
This restaurant is perfect for a romantic evening! The service was great and the food was incredible! The restaurant itself is not the biggest so I would suggest making reservations.
Our experience was disappointing. The food was bland and unremarkable. We had 2 servers waiting on our table and they did not seem to be communicating with each other so we were asked multiple times if we had already ordered various courses. The price was quite high compared to other local restaurants.

We lucked out that it was restaurant week so the meal was inexpensive. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the regular menu so the selections were limited. The only other problem was since we were going to a concert close by and were running late it wasn't as leisurely as it could have been. Not the restaurant's fault.
Service was horrible with the server bringing out the wrong appetizer and main dish. We went during Restaurant Week but it wasn’t busy at all. The people dining next to us on both sides actually thought it was pretty comical because the server kept making the mistake. Not even an apology even though we had to wait a long time for the right food to come out. Also do NOT order any cocktail as their drinks are made horrible. Most likely because there is no bartender and the server makes the drinks. Not a good experience at all. Food was good though!

Went for restaurant week. They had an excellent selection with lots of choices. We had the hardest time choosing. The service was excellent and the waitor was very helpful and patient as we chose a bottle of wine and our dinner order. The wine recommendation was excellent.
For starter we ordered Crostina di Polenta Calamari and Cotechino Con Fagioli. I have never had grilled calamari that was so tender. It was absolute perfection. The sausage was also delicious. For entree we ordered Vitello al Porcine and Fettucine al Ragu Salsiccia Caprino. Both were delicious but I think the veal was tastier. Dessert was incredible. We had the strawberries with cream and cheesecake. Amazing.
I definitely recommend this place of you like a cozy little restaurant with excellent food and service. We got there a little bit early which I think was great for getting a little extra attention from our server. They do get quite busy as the night progresses since they split the restaurant between 2 servers.
We did not have any trouble finding parking across the street. Maybe also a benefit of being a bit early.
One of my favorite restaurants!!! The executive chef owns the restaurant and is a master in the kitchen while his wife does the paperwork. Having been in the kitchen of various Italian restaurants he combines all his skills and knowledge in his own kitchen and is able to produce meals from all the regions of Italy. The wait staff are true professionals that glide unobtrusively around the dinning room look to serve your every need. A wonderful older gentleman from Sicily was my server and was extremely helpful in my dish selections. You can not go wrong in selecting anything on the menu!! The lamb and veal dishes were recommended by Chef. This was and remains one of best restaurant week bargains. The dining area is oh so comfortable and warm.
The bread was amazing, our waiter was extremely charming and entertaining, the ambience was perfect and the food was delicious. Cannot think of anything to criticize! Would definitely go back again if I had the chance.
We tried lunch during restaurant week. Bellisimo's menu was the best value in our area.

This was the first dining experience at Bellissimo for my wife and me--and, frankly, was chosen at random, largely because of its location. We had not been out on a "date" night in quite some time and Bellissimo ended up being a serendipitous selection. It was romantic, the wait staff attentive--without being excessively so, the food was very good, and it reminded us of several places we frequented while dating before marriage--adding immensely to our enjoyment. We have already recommended Bellissimo to friends who enjoy Italian food.

We ring in the new year at Bellissimos for the past three years. We have really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food is spectacular! The presentation is very creative. The owner/Chef has come out to ring in the new year!
