41st Wedding Anniversary
It's tradition to go to Bellisio's when in Duluth! Brianna, our server, was excellent. Solid knowledge of the wine list and pairings with food. Enjoyed our meal and company.
This is a wonderful restaurant! Great food, nice atmosphere! Our waitress was delightful-informative and fun to talk to! We definitely will be back. We like making this restaurant our special occasion place. We go there for birthdays and anniversaries; any celebration.
Expensive but good food and wine. I would go here again and would recommend it for special occasions.
Service and food were outstanding. This was the first time we've been here for dinner, having had Easter and Mother's Day breakfasts in the past. Very enjoyable evening with lovely ambiance.
Peter, our server was excellent. Food was fabulous, we had the lobster ravioli with grilled shrimp! Started with the Tuscany salad which could have 4, we each had 2 servings.
Prompt and courteous service, great food, reasonable prices!
We celebrated our 32nd anniversary there this last weekend. The servers were amazing! Had the best bottle of wine we've had in months. Food was phenomenal and that carrot cake was to die for not to mention a meal on its own. I would highly recommend dining here. But take your time and enjoy.
Kinda pricey for basic Italian food. However food was great and the service was wonderful.
Tried a wine flight which was a fun experience. Waitress was very friendly, efficient and helpful. Food was excellent, perfectly cooked, hot and we didn’t feel rushed. This was not our first time at Bellisioso, but definitely the best experience.
Walleye was great, lightly battered with a caper sauce. Lexi was very attentive, as was all the staff very friendly.
Our waiter, Noah, was fantastic! He answered ALL of our questions, was super nice and very knowledgeable about the entire menu. Food, wine, drinks were great. We had to change our reservation several times due to other scheduled things changing and the staff was understanding and accommodating! Will definitely be back the next time we visit!
The redeeming factors to this restaurant are the table service, the wine flights, wine list and dessert. The food has little to commend it. On a Saturday, they were out of bread by 5:30 PM. Salads were ok. The asparagus shrimp risotto could have been excellent had the woody stems not been part of the risotto. The shrimp, as expected, had been frozen. The welcome staff who seats you is immature and inexperienced. The waitress was young and very good. She was apologetic for the unavailable bread. She had not tried all the dishes but was willing to check with the “chef” to get answers.
The lobster ravioli with grilled shrimp was "to die for".
Disappointed. Quality(taste) of food did not meet expectations for what we thought was a more upscale restaurant. Desserts were good.
We always enjoy the Bellisio experience each time we visit Duluth. We can always depend on good service, fine food, and a pleasant ambiance. While prices are a bit higher than we would prefer, still, the quality experience makes it all worth while.
Our experience was great. We wanted a place with great food and an atmosphere where we can talk. This place hit the mark. We will be back!!!!
Our favorite restaurant in Duluth. Always great food and a wonderful wine list. Tenderloin bits and strawberries w balsamic reduction appetizer is to die for. Delicious risotto. Chocolate flourless torte w zavaglione is sinful. Never disappointed at Bellisio’s and have been coming here for 20 years.
It was really good and a wonderful atmosphere. Our waiter seemed a bit nervous as whatever we asked for was out!!!
I suppose it's either because we were there at 8:30 on Saturday night OR still Co-vid related with inventories being down due to having to close, open, close open.
We went there for our Anniversary and that was wonderful
Food was ok, but a bit bland. No bread available for gluten free or before meal, and for price bread would have been appreciated. Building was nice. Overall there are better options for the value.
The meal was just average for the price. We would probably not return. The food lacked flavor, temperature of food was lukewarm. Our service was excellent.
Has been one of our favorite places. Unfortunately, Covid may have forced a reduction in quality with an increase in price. The walleye was not fresh. They stopped providing bread with oil/pepper. The service was fine, but the food quality appears to have diminished while the prices have increased.
It’s always a “Go To” restaurant.....either inside or on the patio.
Staff was great, made our 35th wedding anniversary dinner special.
Good food, not to busy on a Monday, had indicated we were celebrating an anniversary. The hostess said something and that was last person. Kind of expected a little more since they ask.
We came to Duluth for our mini moon and found this place on open table and it was AMAZING. Our server, Natalie, was delightful and the food and wine was delicious. Would definitely come back!!!!
Celebrating ballet live performance show in a year.
My husband and I went to dinner for Eat Downtown promotion. The special menu was a great value. Food and service were excellent. We were comfortable with staff’s COVID-19 precautions.
Madison made my birthday perfect. She was ver attentive. Thanks
My dinner experience was ok. There were a mix of good things and bad things. I would definitely give them another chance, but my first experience there wasn't a total win.
Great food. Wine list was an encyclopedia. Excellent service. Don’t skip dessert.
We enjoyed it
The evening was great and the service was excellent.
The pandemic must have hit Bellisios hard. The food quality was just not the same. I really missed the wonderful Italian bread and oil. The signature shrimp and lobster ravioli was just not what I remembered at all. It used to be like heaven in my mouth, with fresh ingredients and spices. It was just okay this time on every level. I truly hope Bellisios can make a comeback. I can’t justify paying that much for food unless it is outstanding.
What a wonderful evening! I identified it was our anniversary when making the reservation and we were seated at a lovely table upon our arrival. Our server was excellent; knowledgeable, personable, and provided very good service. The food (every course) was nothing short of extraordinary, we'll be back......
The food was delicious and servers were so professional. Going back tonight.
Our favorite place to eat! Great Covid protocols too!
Our favorite kind of review to read 😊 Thank you, Brenda!
Rigatoni Balsamico did not taste right, and I could not finish (hind sight, I should not have eaten) due to " tasting off ". Was sick hours later regretting that decision.
Wife's food was good.
