Great bellini during hh, and meatball sliders. Pizza was good, and the beer. Wish we had not been too full so we could have tried the cannolli

Sunday, we had happy hour menu for drinks and appetizers, and lunch menu for entrees. Everything we had in this lively neighborhood place was delicious and affordable. Personable, friendly and otherwise-prompt waitstaff forgot to bring out the nice bread and spiced olive oil until the entree. Bread would have been great with the delicious sauces in the appetizers. Recommend!

Great spot in a charming neighborhood in Seattle. Food was good, not over the top good, but tasty and in line with southern Italian cooking. Wine list by the glass was limited, but we enjoyed the Italian red we ordered all the same. The tiramisu is a must try! Definitely the highlight of our dinner.

My husband and I went here for dinner on a Friday and the place didn't have very many people which should have been our first clue. The staff was very friendly but unorganized. (One example was we got our bread during dinner instead of before. ) we started with a meat and cheese plate which consisted of thin slices of 3 cured meats flakes of parmasian cheese (like you get on a ceaser salad) and some olives. I don't consider flakes of cheese appropriate for a cheese plate. My husband had the salmon which was cooked well but had no flavor at all and was over steamed broccoli, which was also bland. I had a pasta dish and from what I could tell homemade pasta was good but the dish was so spicy it was difficult to enjoy. I really wanted a glass of red wine with dinner. the waitress was nice and let me taste the three they had but they were so sweet that they wouldn't be good with dinner. Which they would have had a nice house chianti like the restaurants in Italy do. I opted to have a Bellini...it was SO sweet that it wasn't very good. I wanted to like this place but is was not meant to be. Maybe they just need more time to figure things out.

Varied menu, absolutely delicious wine (Montepulciano, first on the list, recommended), delicious entrees all around. The chef came to the table to make recommendations and we had a wonderful conversation with the owner Steve. We'll be back for sure!

For some reason the restaurant didn't receive our OpenTable reservation and it was a little awkward since it was for 10 people. When we first got there our waitress seemed irritated to be waiting on us, however she warmed up and turned out to be very nice. For the most part everyone liked their food. One problem was having our drinks take quite a while to be served and they came out spaced two every five minutes with other people's drinks served before ours. The biggest problem was that after ordering, many smaller parties that came in and ordered after us were served and were gone before we got our food. We were the first customers there and it took an hour and a half to get our food. Also, I know that 10 people triggers a single check but we needed three separate checks and was told that she would help separate who owed what when we got the bill. The bill was dropped off and that was it. It was not an overall pleasant experience (but I have to admit some people in our party contributed to that). It just seemed the restaurant was not equipped to handle a large group. Maybe the experience would have been better with a table for two.

If you are a fan of Italian food, it would be best to skip this place. They're trying, and they are nice people, but are way short of the mark. The vegetables were overcooked, as was the pasta. The meat was not tender. The menu as a whole is not inspiring or particularly appetizing. Not much of a wine list, either. In retrospect, there were only two bright spots during dinner that evening: 1.) the dessert (a fairly decent tiramisu); and 2.) the entertainment, a guy playing the guitar and singing - he wasn't half bad!

Being a native New Yorker I was skeptical, but si, the pizza is very good! The owner is from New York; the chef from Italy. This is an unpretentious place with "Italian American" food. Our group was very happy with it. Warning: they don't cook pizza to order; you either have what they've made or not. OR you could order a whole pie in advance. The pie is about 23 inches across. This place is a real find.

From the first step through the door until our final goodbye 2 hours later the passion for good food, great wine and a fine dining experience were evident. Will definitely return when in town again.
