Belli Osteria is an OK place but not a place you go for especially nice evening out. Prices are OK. Noise is OK if they turn down the sound system.
Celebrating my daughter’s birthday with just the family. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We were seated immediately even though our entire party was not there. Our drinks and orders were taken within 10 minutes. Food was served promptly. Service was superb.
Early sitting before Nate game. Great food at a good price. Enjoyed it very much.
Great food, great price point. Staff is amazing. Great place for brunch!
Overall, great experience with amazing food and ambiance. Will return to try other items from the menu
The stars are the pasta and bread. I'd skip the apss all together with the exception of the calamari.
Bottomless brunch was top notch and affordable. Pomegranate mimosas were 🤌🏼
Unfortunately our pasta dish lack seasoning and wasn’t enjoyable to consume. But overall the venue and staff were nice.
Wonderful to have a great, affordable pasta place in the neighborhood! We'll definitely be back.
Visited BK last weekend and came across this restaurant while looking for Italian dining. The food was phenomenal, especially the tiramisu.
The service was outstanding. Brought two friends who never leave the city to come to Brooklyn. Our server was so personable and we were really well taken care of. The homemade pasta was DIVINE. The music was really cool too. Great ambiance.
Food was good
Visiting our college student
The food and service were amazing!! Prices for large portions were very reasonable for NYC. Will definitely be back!
Always the best experience ❤️
Had a great experience! Great price on Casamigos! ;)
A SMALL BUT QUAINT LITTLE PLACE....GOOD FOOD AND REASONABLE PRICES.
A little pricey for what it is but we enjoyed the vibe and the music ! Will be back
Amazing food, the staff are incredible....will most def be back!
VIP experience with awesome food.
The brunch food was good, but nothing to write home about. The bloody Marys were just a cheap mix, but that's not surprising given that it was bottomless brunch.
Everyone was really nice but the waitstaff seemed inefficient.
We weren’t greeted when we arrived and then we weren’t served for 20 minutes. So we left.
Great food, exceptional service. Thanks! We will be back.
Took my mom for mother’s day! Had three amazing pasta dishes!
The waiter, ambience and food was all good and delicious. We will definitely be going back.
We love this restaurant. We come here all of the time and have had multiple events here. The food is amazing and the people are equally as amazing.
Disappointing. I'd heard good things about Belli from a friend, so maybe my experience was a fluke, but this was subpar by NYC restaurant standards, and subpar given the price range.
While all of the staff seemed like friendly people, the service was not good, and they seemed overworked. I don't think there was a dedicated bartender. The man who made our drinks was also our waiter (indoor seating area), and seemed to also be responsible for a table or multiple tables outside. While he greeted us soon after sitting down, and took our orders quickly, it was hard to track him down for anything that came afterward. I don't think he should've had so much responsibility.
They serve complimentary bread, but we only realized this 30 min after sitting down, when another table got a small basket almost immediately after they sat down. We had to ask for the bread. We also had to ask for water refills several times throughout the evening, because the staff seemed too busy to be able to keep up with refilling water glasses on their own.
Cocktails were good, food was not. Ordered the Manchego Burger, cooked medium. It was cooked past well done, it was even burnt. The outside of the meat was very bitter, to the point of having a slight crunch. Inside was cooked completely through, no color, very little flavor. Fries were great, but not enough to make up for the poorly prepared burger.
I would've pointed out the issues with my food if anyone had made the basic courtesy to come ask our table how our food was. That's a basic standard for waiter service. But no one stopped to ask us about our food, and I didn't feel like waving someone down just to complain.
I shouldn't have had to pay $17 for that burger, but oh well. Tipped a little below 10% when I usually tip 18-20%.
There are plenty of other great places to eat in this neighborhood. Belli should only be considered if nothing else is available and you don't want to wait.
The food was excellent
Best pasta I’ve ever had in my life! Amazing happy hour deals.
Great brunch spot in a nice location! They have bottomless brunch option with nice drink options and yummy food! Def recommend!
Love it! One of my favorite restaurants in NYC.
Service was excellent. Food was outstanding. Will definitely return again.
Whenever I come here either with a large group or a party of two we are treated very well. Sergio and Laura as well as the other wait staff Are always friendly and accommodating The food is delicious I believe I’ve had almost everything on the brunch menu at this point- go for the bottomless Mimosas!
Truly enjoyable dining experience with family. Excellent food and service. We were out of town visiting Brooklyn for a funeral. It was nice to gather together to reflect and enjoy our time over a wonderful dining experience.
I’d give this place a solid C. But when you live in New York City, why come back to a place that serves “meh” food?
My boyfriend and I decided to come here on Valentine’s Day and it was kind of a mess. Our server was clearly in the weeds, which is understandable, but it took him 20 minutes just to greet us and then it took about an hour to get our food. When we said something about how long the food was taking, it was clear that the server had forgotten to put in our orders, because I saw him run to the computer to put them in right after we asked. Because of this, our food was cooked on the fly and came out really hot and a bit off. I don’t know why (probably because we drank so much while we waited for our food), but we decided to get dessert and ordered a tiramisu that was 99% cream and not much else.
The most shocking thing to us was that after all this, they didn’t really apologize or take anything off our bill when they blatantly messed up a few times. Maybe it was because we didn’t make a fuss and were patient, but not even apologizing for messing up so many times and thinking you pulled the wool over our eyes isn’t a great look.
Everything was great, the food, the service and the atmosphere.
Fantastic as usual. Highly recommend!
I came here for New Year’s Eve with my siblings and forgot to write about it. The food wasn’t bad but the service was TERRIBLE.
I’m not a very high maintenance person, even really good service sometimes makes me uncomfortable. Besides doing the absolute bare minimum, however, (taking our order and bringing the food out) our server was useless. I asked if I can have a little bit of cheese on my pasta and he nodded and tended to the rest of the tables for the night. He never once asked if we need anything else, and it was impossible to get his attention. Not even a water refill. We had to wait forever for our check to come as well.
Hello Tanbirl, As much as I am glad to see you loved the food and ambiance, I am sorry to hear you were not happy about the service. It was a super busy NYE and we were short of staff. George, you server, is usually on point, but that night he was trying to keep up. I hope you try us back and I can assure you your experience will be completely different. Sincerely, Andres
I've been to Belli Osteria several times for dinner and once for brunch. This is my second NYE dinner as its one of the few nice places I can get group reservations last minute. Food is delicious and the waiter was super nice. We were seated right away, even when we arrived early. I will say that service was slow due to the business and bread & starter arrived with our entrees. Only bad thing is that it is very loud in there in the back room (every time I've sat in that room its hard to hear) . Delicious food, will continue to go back, definitely recommend, especially on an off day when it may be less crowded.
