Bella Tuscany Ratings and Reviews
First time enjoying Bella Tuscany, but certainly will not be the last! I've already put several friends on notice that our next get together will be here. There is not one negative or inadequate comment that I could make. You will enjoy everything about Bella Tuscany!
The food is really outstanding. We had tortellini, gnocchi, veal parm, a flatbread and a fettuccine carbonera and all were really delicious. Even the fresh baked bread was wonderful. The only knock is the service which was very slow. I don't think this is a knock on the waitress as she was very nice and got everything right; I just don't think there are enough staff as there seemed to be slow service everywhere. We were there for two hours. That said, it was well worth it. So, don't go if you are in a hurry or if you find slow service frustrating. But go if you love wonderfully prepared Italian food and want a leisurely meal with good conversation - which is pretty authentic Italian in its own right.
We went here for our 41st Valentine's Day together. We were quite impressed with our entire experience. The food was excellent as was the atmosphere and the service. I had mentioned to the manager that it was our 41st Valentine's together when he called to confirm our reservation. Not only did he remember, and said something to my wife, but our hostess and waiter also recognized this special day. Great place. We will be back.
Host was abrupt but did seat us at our reservation time. Never greeted by server and waited very long for initial service. Server extremely rushed. Rudely rushed people for their orders and disappeared for long stretches. Food was very good. Server asked one of the diners if she was done and she said no but he took her plate anyway! Hard to blame server just not enough help at the restaurant. Will not return.
Very disappointed. I've been to this restaurant several times and have enjoyed. This time I wanted the corvina one of their daily specials but did not want the risotto that came with it. Our server said no substitutions I said fine just leav it off. I wanna told they couldn't. Not sure why unless it was premade on the plate. Server was too busy and we say for quite sometime without drinks. Maybe just a bad night.
Enjoyed the atmosphere , the food was delicious , the staff super friendly , the only issue is the tables were too close , I had to move several times to allow people to pass thru but it could be because it was Christmas Eve and they had more guests then normal .
We had a party of 12 for the Feast of Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve. The food was for the most part excellent. My only criticism was that the restaurant was very crowded and loud. Conversation at the table difficult due to the live music being played. It would have been nice if the live music was Christmas music. Our server appeared to be overworked, and the service of the table suffered.
Very impressed with the quality of food and prices. Happy hour at the bar was a delight, with great service and prices. Lasagna was excellent, as was the Linguini dinner. We saw some review comments about slow service, and we have this to say about it: If you want a nice leisurely dining experience, this restaurant is an excellent choice. If you want "fast food," go to McDonald's!
We were delighted with everything about the restaurant. We were particularly impressed with the wine list and the impeccable knowledge of the sommelier. He took the time to discuss the wine with us and tell us about the process. It made the experience even better!
Firstly, the food was very good, but the overall experience was pretty miserable. We were warmly greeted at the door by the host or manager. However, it was downhill from there. The server was fine, a bit nonchalant, but okay. My wife attempted to order chicken Parmesan with grilled chicken, rather than the chicken cutlet. We've done this at many nicer Italian restaurants with no issue at all. However, the server told us she was not able to accommodate it, then the manager came over to uphold this decision. Then she ordered a chicken francaise with no butter; they accommodated this. However, the dish came out, it did not remotely resemble chicken francaise. There were tomatoes, spinach, virtually no sign of anything lemon, and instead of the butter, then drenched it olive oil. I've never been to a restaurant that refused to accommodate a customer's simple request.
This was a wonderful evening out with the family. We turned up about ten minutes late but were warmly welcomed and saw the restaurant was so busy...a good sign! The food was really tasty and I had a really good Clam Chowder along with Gluten Free Pasta. I want to go back now and try another dish, the children ate well and had meatballs with spaghetti and a really nice pizza, laden with Pepperoni and cheese. We had some great information given to us on the selection of wines and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening. A big thank you to our waiter, the staff and the chefs.
If you haven't tried this hidden gem, you don't know what you're missing. Best eggplant parmesan ever and the other pasta dishes are as good! Great service and the sommelier is a wealth of knowledge! We keep inviting new friends so they can experience a great meal too!
This was our 3rd visit. First time was great. 2nd time I got lobster tail and the risotto (or rice) was 7/8 of the plate - ridiculous. The 3rd time I got crabmeat pasta. The pasta was hard and not cooked and I needed a magnifying glass to find the crabmeat. Very disappointing and we will not return.
