It was our first time at this restaurant, I read great reviews and I’m happy to say that whole family was not disappointed. The service was very satisfactory most of all. We will go back for lunch next time to enjoy the views.
Food was Excellent as always!!
Always such a beautiful view.
Just a little disappointed they forgot we were celebrating our anniversary.
Very loud inside restaurant
Great setting. Very well organized tables. Terrific staff at all departments. Great value for the food quality.
Great as always
We came here to celebrate Easter. The wait staff were attentive and accommodating. Our order came to our table quickly and the flavors of all our dishes we just lovely!
Food great, very enjoyable evening. Had requested at the time of the reservation that we were celebrating our granddaughter's 18th birthday. That was not acknowledged. Sat outside and even though they had heaters, they weren't enough to keep us warm. These were minor issues to enjoying the evening. This is a place to go again.
The service was excellent. Our only disappointment was the burnt crab cakes that we were served. We sent them back and refused a replacement. Overall, the food was delicious, and service was excellent.
We had a delightful lunch. The filet mignon was the best I've ever had!!!! The detail and quality of the food preparation were second to none! The ambiance was beautiful yet comfortable. At no time did we feel rushed. The waitress was pleasant, knowledgeable and extremely intuitive!
We will definitely return soon and I'm sure it will remain a favorites for special events!!!!!
A great new find for us!!!!!!! It felt like a mini vacation!!!!!!
We were seated quickly, and in a nice spot outside. The service was outstanding, the waiter was very very helpful. The food was fast, and delicious. The drinks and the wine suggestion were fantastic.
As always, it was wonderful! Great service, wonderful food!
Always awesome have never been disappointed!! Wish we had one in Green Valley
Sat outside which is always nice and it gets a little chilly in Benicia. They hadn’t turned on the heaters by the time we left so it wasn’t as nice at it could have been. Not a game changer, though. We had great service and the food was tasty. Just didn’t impress me to stand out in my experience. I’d go back, though.
I had the mushroom ravioli and it was delicious. Service was excellent.
Wonderful and lively, as always. Great patio seating, delicious food (try the homecooked paparelle, the fruta de mare, portobello panini sandwich), and courteous and attentive service. My favorite place in Benicia!
Food and service is amazing!!
Dinner with mom. Everything was great, pasta, drinks, etc. The only thing that wasn’t that good was the bread. I’d gladly pay for Acme or Semi freddis with my meal . But that’s a minor detail, I loved it and will definitely be coming back to try other entrees
It was a expected day off of work and my husband and I decided to take advantage of a kid-free day. We went here for lunch on a weekday. It is a nice, quiet restaurant that had indoor and outdoor seating. The weather was perfect for outdoor seating however, we decided to sit indoor by the window (looking out to the bay). We were able to get a reservation on OpenTable and arrived right as the open. There was already a line out the door so fortunately we had a reservation.
Our sample appetizer plate arrived less than hot but was good. They have a bread & olive oil (with onions, garlic?) dipping that was delicious. Our entrees were delicious well.
Lunch was a bit pricey but fir the ambience and good food/service, I would recommend
Our first time at Bella Siena,
Such a treasure. The atmosphere had a great vibe, and the food was amazing.
I told our waitress it was my wife and I’s anniversary, and she went out of her way to make us feel important and valued. We will for SURE be back.
The food is always good and the service is even better!
This was our first indoor dining experience in a year. It did not disappoint. It was a gorgeous day and the views spectacular. the lunch special that day, lobster ravioli, in a cream sauce was delicious. We had crème Brule for dessert and it was delicious as well. I was looking for a wonderful dining experience that day, as it was my 70th birthday, and this fit the bill
Lovely spot! Really enjoyed dinner and waitress was so attentive -even though she had allot of tables!
Loved the location, the view and the food!! Service was good
Service was great! Hannah was a wonderful server. I do wish that we could have had a nicer table with a view since I told them we were celebrating our 10 year anniversary, but we were out towards the back of the outdoor courtyard. The pesto gnocchi was AMAZING, and the bar tender made me a great pregnancy friendly mocktail. We will be back!
The service any food was outstanding. Outside seating was nice.
Outstanding menu and service. The ambiance in the garden has an european vibe, highly recommend this place.
Came here on a Saturday afternoon and sat outside. Beautiful ambience, with views of the water. The inside of the restaurant looks very nice as well. Our server was really friendly and prompt. Food was okay. I had the spaghetti bolognese but substituted the spaghetti for parpadelle..... sauce was just okay. My son had the kids pasta marinara and he didn't like it much.
Every visit has been excellent. The food and service are outstanding.
Best restaurant in Benicia in my opinion. This quaint little town by the bay has so much potential and so few good restaurants. Bella Siena clearly recognized the potential and created a little jewel that is now fairly difficult to get a reservation at times.
Love the setting and the service. The only reason not five stars for the food is that a couple times now the pasta dish could have used more seasoning. My guest commented the same. There's no salt or pepper on the table to do your own doctoring up. I realize the Chef works hard on these dishes and doesn't expect them to need more salt, but it could have used it. Also, I know everyone has different likes and dislikes, so still give four stars.
Always a pleasure to dine at Bella. They never disappoint us.
I took a dear friend for dinner for her 70th birthday. I said on Open Table when I made the reservation that it was a birthday, and also informed the hostess who said she would tell our server. When we ordered dessert there was no indication that we were celebrating anything.
The food was terrible!
The portabella mushroom appetizer was overwhelmed with balsamic making it too sweet.
My friends mushroom ravioli were just okay.
My frutti di mare linguini had no flavor and few clams or mussels.
The desserts were decent but again, no mention of a birthday celebration.
The server, when he asked if we would like something to drink, brought my friends glass of wine with my cocktail even though she specifically said she would have it with her meal.
All empty plates and glasses were left on the table throughout the entire meal.
After our dessert, we waited, and waited and finally flagged down another person so that we could get our check, pay, and leave.
The noise level and acoustics in this restaurant are horrible making the dining experience dry unpleasant with music blaring to make it even worse.
I will not return to this restaurant and I am a local.
The food is consistently delicious! Never feel pressured to leave! Beautiful setting! Benicia’s best!
Professional. Beautiful and well thought dining space. Lovely and accommodating service. Can’t miss food!!! Try the cabbage salad (warm)! Carpaccio rivals any. Amazing and perfectly prepared filet. 100% delicious.
The food is delicious and the service was outstanding.
Great place to enjoy dinner, amazing presentation and great service!
Location is great. Views from inside the restaurant are spectacular. We ate outside and it was pleasant although the view was not as good.
The food was a disappointment. Dipping sauce for the bread had red onion in it that overpowered everything else in it. Couldn’t eat it. The bruschetta had much too much garlic, we all agreed. The kitchen does not have a very sophisticated hand at seasoning. Too much is not better!
My husband and I ordered the price fixe lunch. He had the Caesar salad, which was good. I had the mixed green salad that said it had baby greens and tomatoes. There was one tomato. Balsamic vinaigrette was too sweet. Needed some acid.
We both had the spaghetti bolognese as our entrees. It was very odd seasoning. Sweet and apparently some red pepper in there, as it was somewhat spicy. Very little pasta and way too much sauce. We don’t know if the cuisine is supposed to be an Italian/Mexican mix, or what. Maybe we were expecting the wrong type food.
Our friends both had the daily special which was lobster ravioli with prawns and some kind of sauce. Both said it was “underwhelming” and they had eaten here before and liked the food, so maybe we will give it another try in the future.
Had lunch and was very satisfied with the service and quality of the food.
Foods is really good !
We love the food and experience! 2nd time in 4 weeks
