Everything about this place is just okay. Went on a rainy Friday afternoon. There is nothing special here. You can find cuisine, service, ambience anywhere without having to make a special trip.

This was my first time visiting Bella Monica and I was not disappointed. I ordered a flatbread and it was much larger than anticipated with lots of meat and vegetables. The social distancing was safe and I enjoyed my lunch.

Fabulous food, excellent observation of Covid protocol. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Had our reservation, gave us a nice clean booth with plenty of room away from others.
Waiter Dan was excellent even had the chief changes sauces on their special dish of the night so good. Food was hot and so good. best Pasta choices in Raleigh.

Bella Monica is my favorite restaurant in Raleigh. The gluten free menu is THE BEST in town! Excellent wine list too. The staff are always amazing - great food/drink suggestions and great service! Dan was our server and he's fantastic. Thanks Dan!!

Outstanding service, very quiet atmosphere and the food was delicious. We had the Spinach stuffed shells, shrimp scampi and lasagna. Wife said it was the best lasagna she has had. Also enjoyed the garlic cheese bread and a great selection of wines.

The food is OK. But don't get their Brussel sprouts--was burned. The waitress was terrible: spilled water on our table without apologizing, showed annoyance when we ask water without ice, had an attitude so bad that my son was nervous whenever she came by to our table to deliver food and drink. I Will not go back.

The week my wife and I moved to this area we stopped in to Bella Monica to see the menu and picked up a business card. We then proceeded to go a few doors down to a coffee shop where the barista saw the card in my hand and told me "you just found the best Italian restaurant in the Triangle". It has lived up to that billing to this very day. Authentic Italian experience and food, attentive and knowledgeable service, broad wine selection, romantic ambiance, need I say more?

Waiting for dinner was well over an hour which I understand on a Sat. night ,but my family had to get back to SC. Everything else was wonderful otherwise. I have been coming to Bella Monica for 20 years and have never had a bad meal.

The food was terrific and we didn't feel rushed, even though we had finished our meal and were just chatting. They also have a great gluten free menu with multiple items compared to most Italian restaurants in the area.

Excellent food! The narrow hall makes the ambiance strange and the rear food delivery door traffic was distracting.

The food and service was great. Dan took great care of us. We all enjoyed our meals and getting out. They did everything possible to space people out and make us comfortable for a nice dinner out. We will be back.

Bella Monica is “our restaurant” when I’m going out with my daughter and one of her best friends. We have “our fav table” outside but it’s always an excellent experience wherever we sit. The relaxed atmosphere is very much appreciated as were 9+ months into the covid19 hell of 2020, there’s something for everyone on the menu. I am EXTREMELY grateful to have fantastic gluten-free and vegetarian options! And the wine is divine! 😁 WE LOVE YOU BELLA MONICA!

Great baked ziti and chocolate cake. Outside patio has heaters and a nice atmosphere.

Went here for lunch for the first time with a friend who had been many times. Was not disappointed! I had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken and anchovies added, and it was light, fresh, an oh so tasty. The anchovies, especially, were the best; not the typical ones you get out of a can, but less salty premium versions. I loved it! We chose outdoor seating on a cool autumn day, and was very comfortable under the overhead heater they have installed. I would recommend Bella Monica to anyone who wants to try something new.

Amazing eggplant rollatini! Wish they would add the veal sliders back to the menu. Zitti was out of this world as usual!

The service at Bella Monica was absolutely amazing. It’s definitely the best service I’ve received in a long time. They were very patient and accommodating for our large party. Kept our drinks full and were always checking on us (but not in an annoying way). The food was outstanding. I got the baked ziti and I will probably go back for it soon. The waitress gave excellent wine recommendations. We were celebrating and birthday and they brought out a complimentary cannoli with a candle in it. We will definitely be returning soon.
