We were seated immediately but sat for about 10 minutes before we even got water or menus. That was the only down part of our experience. The food was tasty. We ordered Veal francese with a side of spaghetti and a chicken special with a side of veggies. Both were very good with ample portions so we took the leftovers home. Waiter must have realized how long we waited b/c he gave us a cappuccino and a wine on the house. We'll go back again because the food was that good. Overall was rated "good" because the service wasn't.

This was our first time at this neighborhood Italian restaurant. The meal was delicious start to finish. Service was friendly and attentive! We will be returning!

I am sorry-I made a reservation for Bella Luna on Open Table for 7/13. It was for Bella Luna on the Upper West NYC Columbus Av. The waitress was more than helpful (couldn't find reservation-my fault) Got a great window seat and things went uphill from there. The food, service, and value were fantastic. I have read some reviews that were not all that great. I'm not sure they were in the same place. The waiter/wait staff were on top of everything but not obtrusive. If you can show me a place in the Upper West with really good Italian food (the eggplant parm and the black squid fettuccini were excellent) for less than $70.00 (4 glasses wine apps/entrée/dessert) let me know.

We discovered this restaurant using a groupon and have been back many many times since. Great food. Took many different people to dinner and everyone loved it.

Our experience was fine as always--this is our neighborhood go-to restaurant. However, as I wrote a few days ago, when we got there the restaurant had no record of our reservation even though we never cancelled it and did show up for it. They did seat us immediately and we had an enjoyable evening. You have emailed me and said you are looking into this. George Fletcher

Bella Luna was fine and we enjoyed our dinner as we always do, however, when we got there they could not find out opentable reservation. But the host was most courteous and took care of us and gave us a window table which is what we asked for. I don't know what happened to the reservation on his computer but it was not there. I also don't know if we were credited for the 100 points. George Fletcher

We had a very pleasant experience. Our waiter was very friendly & attentive. Food was very very good & served quickly. Will definitely be back again.
