I've often eaten at Bella Luna Cafe. I was disappointed that everything tasted the same. My Tuscan pasta dish did not have sun dried tomatoes, but fresh. After eating the large amount of spices on the chips that came with the hummus I continued to taste it throughout my meal. Even the chicken salad sandwich I ordered to go seemed to be filled with them. The hummus itself still continues to stand out as a "go to" item. I'll give it another go, another time.
The outdoor patio was so comfortable with the heaters. Our waitress was outstanding, I wish I could remember her name!
It took 45 minutes to get our food and the salads were served with the food, but the quality was good.
Great lunch spot!
The food was amazing and our waiter was very handsome! I was for 60-year-old ladies thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.
Loved our server- goofy guy but he was on top of everything. Food was good as always. Best hummus in town.
If you are looking for a very romantic and intimate place to dine this is the one. Then they have awesome wait staff and delicious food to top off your evening/experience.
Very nice, not small but not big, nice selection at bar, good variety on the menu, quick service.
My wife and I were there on Valentine's Day, and even though we had reservations, they attempted to seat us in a back room separate from the restaurant. We were then directed to a high top table near the front door. We ordered dirty martinis, which took 20 minutes to produce, and where undrinkable. The food however was delicious. The only exception was that my Lobster raviolis were lukewarm at best. Our waitress was tremendous. We have been there before with better luck, so of course we will go back.
The food is wonderful. We love the hummus platters and the curry dish. The interior could be a little nicer but that is being very critical.
First time going but won’t be the last. I had the pan seared barramundi and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was great as well. If you’re looking for good Med-American cuisine this is one of the best choices in town, hands down.
Our server was exceptional. She was engaging yet not intrusive and patient as we needed to wait on some of our party to arrive
Eight of us went to Bella Luna for a birthday lunch for 2 co-workers. Made reservations in advance. Table was ready when we arrived with no waiting. Food was good, service was good, conversation was good. It was very enjoyable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and conversation at Bella Luna Cafe. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. We had a gluten free individual with us and the chef accommodated that person by changing up the side offering. Bella Luna is always a favorite stop when we are in Wichita visiting or for business.
The food was authentic and very good. This is the 1st time that we were at the restaurant in deftly will come back again
Great food and service! I had the Shrimp, crab, bay scallops, mussels with rice in an awesome sauce.
In town just for overnight. Googled nearby restaurants. It was easy to find. Prompt and attentive wait staff. Stuffed grape leaves appetizer was delicious. Our server recommended her favorite and I was not disappointed. Husband had the trout special with roasted potatoes and asparagus that he was also very pleased with. Other than noise level- a delightful dinner
Staff was lovely, food was amazing. Drinks were delicious. Nice restaurant, nice patio too.
Used to be a sophisticated, mostly adult crowd. No longer, if our recent dinner was typical. Several groups had small children, most well behaved. But at the table next to us, the three "adults" made no attempt to control the three kids. They yelled, laughed, threw things at each other and ran around. Neither their waiter or any other staff seemed to notice, even though you continually heard the disruptive kids over the other diners. A pleasant, quiet conversation at our table of four adults was impossible. When I finally complained to our waiter at the end of our meal, he notified the manager, who eventually came to our table. I told him our dining experience had been ruined, and I didn't understand how he could possibly have missed the disturbing behavior as it had gone on through our entire dinner. He apologized, and insisted he would have intervened had he seen the kids throwing things--and added that complaining customers can be reseated (don't think there were any other empty tables that night, and who wants to get up in the middle of their meal and move?). He seemed puzzled that people see fit to bring young children to BL, but said it's a "family-friendly" restaurant. Translation: BL is willing to sacrifice the dining experience of a roomful of polite, well-behaved customers (including those with children) because it fears alienating one rude, selfish table.
