Bella Italiana at Potawatomi Bingo Casino Ratings and Reviews
We came here for the Valentine's ribeye dinner. Our waitress confused us about the deal making it seem like we would be getting two steaks. It was one 20oz ribeye for $65.00. A bit overpriced for that cut of meat, a glass of wine each, and a very small gelato dessert to share. The service was poor. Our waitress must have been new but they gave her too many tables in her section so we rarely saw her. We got our bill from someone else and just left. This neglect seems to be a thing at all of the restaurants except for Dream Dance. I wish we would have went there instead.
What a great Valentines Day. Very impressed with the restaurant. Very comfortable, everyone was very pleasant. Excellent food. Pricing was fair and the girl that took care of us from sitting down to leaving did a fantastic job. We plan on going back and telling all our friends. Good way to start an evening before sitting down and gambling for a while!
I've eaten here before, and everything was stellar. We recommended to our friends to eat there prior to attending the comedy show at Bonkerz. When making reservations, I indicated we were going there for not 1, but 2 birthday celebrations. Upon arrival, I asked the hostess about acknowledgement of the occassions, she advised they received the request, and the waitress will be made aware. And...crickets. Unfortunately, we wanted this to be a surprise for our friends, and I was at the back of the booth, and couldn't very well shout it to the waitress. Upon leaving, I stressed my disappointment, asked what more I could have done to have them acknowledged.
Bella's is rich with atmosphere. The decor included paintings of Venice, the vineyards of Italy, city life of old Italy, and others.
The menu has a varied selection of Italian, American food and a selection of vegetarian options. The service was excellent. Our waitress informed us of the specials of the day, made suggestion and listen directly to our requests of items we had to avoid.
The food was presented with very good eye appeal, with that came the savory taste of the meal.
After our main course, the waitress inquired that this must have been a special occasion. My wife indicated that I gain another year of age. The waitress said that she would take care of this and left that table area. Upon return she brought a cheese cake cannoli topped with chopped pistachios and chocolate sauce and two forks. What a wonderful treat!
We enjoy our dinner and hope you do as well. Bon Appetite...
Great service as usual. We personally have never experienced anything less here. It hurts me to say this but I have noticed lately that the food quality has declined. The chicken in my Chicken Piccata could have used some seasoning or marinating before cooking. The chicken was pale and tasteless and overpowered by the lemon caper sauce. I would rather have Piccata over pasta than over those lukewarm smashed potatoes. Also, we do not care for the dinner rolls. They are not crusty or salty or yeasty, just dull and tasteless. How about some Italian bread with dipping oil, PLEASE! Tip: If you order the Lasagna, ask before ordering if it is fresh or reheated. Last time I had it, the large serving was cold in the middle! Because the serving was very large, I just ate around the edges and took the rest home to reheat for lunch the next day. This is my first bad review for Bella. I feel like my favorite restaurant at Potawatomi is slipping away. Sad!
One of us had the Chicken Parmesan, which was very good. One had the Shrimp Scampi, which he said was good and I had the Cheese Ravioli with Chicken. It was good, except the shredded chicken tasted like "supermarket" roasted chicken. The salads were very good as were the desserts. We shared the Cannoli. Although good, we all felt the shell was too dark and hard. Probably would not order it, again, We also shared the Double Chocolate Cake, which was very good. Definitely would save room for this dessert.
the food was good reasonably priced. service was lacking a bit, did not pay attention to us as much as others she was serving. Almost rude. thinking if i would go back, maybe it was just the server. We have been here before the name change and did not have anywhere near the rudeness we had this last time.
I was apprehensive to dine in Bella with all the negative reviews but I'm happy i did! My wife and I got to
Bella around 7:15, 10/13 the host told us there was going to be an hour wait but surprisingly we were sat within 25 minutes, we had a nice table by the trees in the front of the dining room. Our waitress greeted us, she was very friendly and helpful! Emily suggested some appetizers and sold us on the calamari and arancini. It was just as good as she described it to be. After our apps were gone she came to grab the dirty dishes off the table and asked if we were all decided on entrees. My wife ordered the salmon, I ordered the scampi, emily asked if either of us wanted to add a soup or salad to our meals (three dollars extra) I ordered the basil soup and my wife chose to add a house salad, both were excellent. Our entrees were delicious, scampi was almost too much garlic for my likings, but my wife very much enjoyed it. We couldn't finish out meals(saving room for dessert) so our waitress offered to box up the remaining, I appreciated that. For dessert we orders a tira misu, it was very good, kind of a large portion so I'm happy we decided to share it. I would highly recommend my friends and family to try out Bella!
This was our first visit to this restaurant. It is far enough away from the casino (2nd floor) to not have to deal with noise or the crowds in the casino.
The food was very good and reasonably priced. They have a good selection of wines, not a long list, but very good options. The service was exceptional with our server constantly checking on us, making recommendations and keeping the water glasses filled.
4th time at Bella, and just as wonderful. Arrived during happy hour and drink specials we're quite good. Chicken parm was lightly breaded and crispy with a sweet tomato sauce. Eggplant was also excellent (2nd time having that dish). Great service and relaxing atmosphere that evening.
My Sister and I had a wonderful dining experience at Bella! The Chicken Marsala, (New item on the menu) was outstanding! I love that extra side items are so reasonably priced. It does not cost much to add a salad or extra veggie to the meal. You will never be rushed at this restaurant. Bella does not overbook so servers are very attentive and not overly rushed. Our server was great and checked back several times, refilled water, offered dessert, etc..... I highly recommend Bella's.
