When we arrived we were asked if we had a reservation. We did not and were told it was a thirty minute wait. The place was maybe a third full. We went to the bar, ordered a drink and made a reservation using Open Table and then went back to the hostess who then sat us. The restaurant was never more than half full. Beyond that the food was very mediocre. No reason to ever go back.
Great food and great service
I am always happy to dine here! Food is great, service is wonderful, and I truly enjoy it. Had a drink at the bar too and Colette was the bartender and she was fantastic!
The spaghetti was basic and not equivalent to the portion in advertisements. I paid $13 for a cup of mediocre spaghetti. The chocolate cake was good. The minestrone soup was bland and runny, I expected it to be flavorful and thicker. I was disappointed in the overall lack of flavor and price for the small portions.
It was nice, but just missing the good rolls and the little extras that we were expecting.service was good overall it was very nice.
Good food. Loved the atmosphere. Portions were a little small on the food.
Second time that we have visited. Traveled from the UP of Michigan to see a concert in town and stayed an extra day to see some of sites in town and enjoy a excellent meal here.
Food was delicious and ambiance was nice but our waitress must have been new because we did not get the correct dessert and our drinks took too long especially since the restaurant was not so busy.
Everything was great as usual. We always ask for Haley as our server and she is fantastic!
Food and service were both great as always.. no complaints at all
Eggplant fries were delicious. Only 2 of us wanted them but they were more popular than the brushetta. Grasshopper drink was awesome🍸Chicken piccata was exelent, must like lemon and capers though .
I did not enjoy the food at all. Well, let me take that back—we did order Eggplant for an appetizer and that was good. My main meal was cheese ravioli and it was pastey and really tasted awful.
I won’t be returning.
Excellent experience. Pre-concert so ate light (flat-breads). Waitress very pleasant, attentive and made sure food was on time so as not to miss the concert. Fantastic Happy Hour bar prices.
Had never eaten there before...we decided to try it out as we were attending a show. Very glad we did, good value for money and service was not rushed. We’ll go back.
We met Debbie (server) from St. Louis, MS. Since the beginning she was lost. Running like chicken without head all over the place. We place the order and forgot the salad for my wife. I told Debbie to not bring the salad and she bring it anyways. After she says that she will delete the Brochetas from the bill and leave the salad instead. REALLY? I just say yes. I was very upset. The Brochetas taste horrible. We have been all over the city in many Italian restaurants and this one is far away from Italian Cuisine. Her service was 1 star. I will never go back to Bella Whaterver. Please send Debbie for training!!!
Haley is the best waitress ever! We ask for her each time we dine at Bella. Food never disappoints!
Food was excellent though portions were a bit small.
Host staff was very confused about seating a party of 6 with reservations. Tried seating us in a booth for 4 people.
We had to ask for the rolls which were highly recommended in a review we read.
Other than that the food was fantastic.
Staff is always friendly & willing to make recommendations on the food.
Always a pleasant experience.
Food was good. Kitchen was very very slow. We only ordered appetizer and spaghetti. Not the waitresses fault.
We came here for the Valentine's ribeye dinner. Our waitress confused us about the deal making it seem like we would be getting two steaks. It was one 20oz ribeye for $65.00. A bit overpriced for that cut of meat, a glass of wine each, and a very small gelato dessert to share. The service was poor. Our waitress must have been new but they gave her too many tables in her section so we rarely saw her. We got our bill from someone else and just left. This neglect seems to be a thing at all of the restaurants except for Dream Dance. I wish we would have went there instead.
What a great Valentines Day. Very impressed with the restaurant. Very comfortable, everyone was very pleasant. Excellent food. Pricing was fair and the girl that took care of us from sitting down to leaving did a fantastic job. We plan on going back and telling all our friends. Good way to start an evening before sitting down and gambling for a while!
Hands down best Alfredo I've ever had. Such a rich and creamy flavor. Beats olive garden without a doubt!
First time here, have to say for the price you pay, food portions were very small.
Great taste on the food though.
Very good shrimp scampi. I was pleased with the meal
Our waitress was wonderful. We had a great dinner. Can’t wait to go back
I have eaten there three times now before attending a show at the Northern Lights Theatre. The food and the service is great and I look forward to going again.
The food was fair. The dinner rolls were really good. Prices were reasonable. The service was spectacular. I wish that I could remember the waitresses name
because she was great!!!
Simply AWESOME! A completely excellent experience!
Just casino food. Not a dining destination. Loud. Took forever to pay, despite previously good service.
They were very accommodating because we were late due to traffic. They knew we were in a rush because we were going to a concert. Definitely recommend
always a great meal at this restaurant and the service is excellent. The employees are great and the food is delicious!
I've eaten here before, and everything was stellar. We recommended to our friends to eat there prior to attending the comedy show at Bonkerz. When making reservations, I indicated we were going there for not 1, but 2 birthday celebrations. Upon arrival, I asked the hostess about acknowledgement of the occassions, she advised they received the request, and the waitress will be made aware. And...crickets. Unfortunately, we wanted this to be a surprise for our friends, and I was at the back of the booth, and couldn't very well shout it to the waitress. Upon leaving, I stressed my disappointment, asked what more I could have done to have them acknowledged.
Very good food. Service was wonderful excellent dinner soup was very good
Bella's is rich with atmosphere. The decor included paintings of Venice, the vineyards of Italy, city life of old Italy, and others.
The menu has a varied selection of Italian, American food and a selection of vegetarian options. The service was excellent. Our waitress informed us of the specials of the day, made suggestion and listen directly to our requests of items we had to avoid.
The food was presented with very good eye appeal, with that came the savory taste of the meal.
After our main course, the waitress inquired that this must have been a special occasion. My wife indicated that I gain another year of age. The waitress said that she would take care of this and left that table area. Upon return she brought a cheese cake cannoli topped with chopped pistachios and chocolate sauce and two forks. What a wonderful treat!
We enjoy our dinner and hope you do as well. Bon Appetite...
Love the food there! It’s always really great. Haley was our server again because we asked for her and she is fabulous!
Great service as usual. We personally have never experienced anything less here. It hurts me to say this but I have noticed lately that the food quality has declined. The chicken in my Chicken Piccata could have used some seasoning or marinating before cooking. The chicken was pale and tasteless and overpowered by the lemon caper sauce. I would rather have Piccata over pasta than over those lukewarm smashed potatoes. Also, we do not care for the dinner rolls. They are not crusty or salty or yeasty, just dull and tasteless. How about some Italian bread with dipping oil, PLEASE! Tip: If you order the Lasagna, ask before ordering if it is fresh or reheated. Last time I had it, the large serving was cold in the middle! Because the serving was very large, I just ate around the edges and took the rest home to reheat for lunch the next day. This is my first bad review for Bella. I feel like my favorite restaurant at Potawatomi is slipping away. Sad!
The food was absolutely fabulous and everyone thoroughly enjoyed dining there. Our server, Haley, was phenomenal! Love this place!
Good atmosphere for casual comfort food dining. Service is a little slow but worth the price for taste and ambiance.
One of us had the Chicken Parmesan, which was very good. One had the Shrimp Scampi, which he said was good and I had the Cheese Ravioli with Chicken. It was good, except the shredded chicken tasted like "supermarket" roasted chicken. The salads were very good as were the desserts. We shared the Cannoli. Although good, we all felt the shell was too dark and hard. Probably would not order it, again, We also shared the Double Chocolate Cake, which was very good. Definitely would save room for this dessert.
We always have a delicious meal & cocktails & enjoy the pleasant staff.
