Simply amazing! Never had a bad experience here and always leave satisfied and excited for my next visit. My pasta was so fresh is basically melted in my mouth. 15/10 would recommend!! Chef Nico is truly an artist!

I’ve been here 2x in the last month. Great place to have dinner with loved ones. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Staff are following all safety and cleaning guidelines for indoor dining for COVID-19. Highly recommend! I will return.

From start to finish great, charming experience for all the sense. Bella Gioia delivers. This is a wonderful gem, that I am joyful to return to. Staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The food is fresh, flavorful and delicious. They do live up to their motto, Cibo Dal Cuore!

Food was amazing!!!! We were the only people there but it was literally 1 hour before they closed. The staff was amazing! Super sweet. Drinks were great as well. Definitely recommend!!

Incredible food, overly friendly wait staff, great ambiance & fair priced! I went to Bella Gioia with four buddies of mine for a guys night out. Chef Nico came out from the kitchen to greet us and welcome us to his restaurant. He was extremely friendly and grateful that during these times he had customers. He made our bellies feel great and also our hearts. The chef is a good man, from my first experience meeting him. I think everyone far or near should go check this place out. A+++

My first COVID outdoor dining experience at Bella Gioia, what can I say, other than it was like coming home for a family dinner! Chef Nick and his staff were very welcoming as usual! The food, ny wife enjoyed the pasta alla Norma, and I thoroughly enjoyed my steak with truffle fries. Steak cooked to a perfect medium rare and dressed with a grape skin and sugar reduction.
The only thing lacking was the coziness and ambience of being inside.

I look forward to coming here when indoor dining is allowed. The food and service were excellent, but the outdoor accommodations are not the best. You are seated on a sidewalk with all the noise and fumes of the street, Nevertheless, I definitely recommend.

So glad they’re back open! Best restaurant in the area - our favorite in NYC.

Valentine’s Day Celebration! Crab risotto an added jewel to an already delicious menu!

Overall atmosphere is very warm and cozy and comfortable. Wine list was nice with many options. Service was good and the staff really friendly. My friend and I ordered the Sicilian Pizza and sweet potato crostata. There was nothing Sicilian about either one of these dishes. I did not care for the pizza at all, the sauce was bitter and the dough chewy. The sweet potato crostata was delicious.
I ordered the pasta con sardi, and my friend the gnocchi rustico. I have had many versions of pasta con sardi, it is a family meal for me. I found my dish tonight to be dry and flavorless. My friend who ordered the gnocchi reported that it had way too much gorgonzola cheese and she had a hard time tasting the gnocchi. I was somewhat disappointed but it may be worth a second try.

We went on a double date here for probably the fifth time. We as usual, had such an amazing time. The food, service, chef, and drinks were all amazing. We never doubt Bella Gioia because it’s so amazing every time. Would definitely come back, and will. Would definitely recommend to a friend, a stranger, and a loved one.

The restaurant did not disappoint! The hostess, our waitress and all other staff were VERY engaging, kind & funny. The atmosphere was festive, the decor was lovely as was our meals. The chicken piccata was perfection. The sauce was spot on as was the chicken and the green beans. All of our meals were wonderful.

Bella Gioia....there are no words left to say. The food is always exceptional. The service is outstanding and friendly, attentive without being overbearing. The ambiance makes you feel like you're home. One of my all time best restaurants.

I wanted to love it but I didn’t. It was just ok. The meat and cheese board was average. Similar to what you get from a deli. Nothing exciting. The hot food was bland. Lacking flavor and taste. Desserts were overly sweet. I didn’t even like the drinks. Overall I was really disappointed about the whole dining experience.

My whole party felt food was over seasoned in the appetizer courses but little under seasoned for main courses. Food was very rich in terms of fat but lacking some salt aspect on pasta and steak dishes. Possibly the over-seasoning in the beginning dulled/masked the entrees.

Value was great in terms of portions though. Weren’t able to finish all of the food.

All in all still had a great time there celebrating my wife’s birthday. Thanks!

Quite Excellent. Warmly greeted. Great ambiance. Lots of salads, soups, meats and cheeses we could have chosen from for an appetizers, but we wanted to try the ravioli with pumpkin cream sauce and we're glad we did. It was outstanding. Halibut and short rib entrees were also excellent as was the "cherry bomb" dessert. Great drinks, too. A neighborhood gem and we hope to return.

Came to celebrate a birthday, and had a great time. We were a large party, and the waitstaff were able to fulfill our requests from cake cutting to drinks/food requests. Truffle fries and oxtail ragu were our favorites!

This is just an amazing spot. We absolutely LOVE to come here for dinner. We have come for group dates, double dates, birthdays, anniversaries, and have NEVER been disappointed. The chef is so personable and the rest of the staff is great as well.

I've been dining at Bella Gioia for 2 years. I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal, only better meals. The arancini, fried buratta, fried calamari are a perfect introduction to the rest of your meal. My personal favorite is the short ribs. The staff is freindly, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. Chef Nico is no longer a rising star, he has arrived and is a Star.

Great gem. Fantastic service. Unique wines. The fools is mostly great. There was one dish that was a bit off and bland- the short rid ragu pasta- had VERY little taste. The other meals were good. What a fantastic energetic staff with great wine and drinks!

Good sicilian food, Waitress was a real waitress, warm and funny-not a clueless server. Sadly, no Jack Daniels.

Our server was very thoughtful, fun and interested in making our experience the best it could be!
