   Bella Colibri is our little hidden gem in Golden. The food and service are always excellent and last night did not disappoint. The food was excellent as always and Eric was very attentive and provided excellent service. We just love this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

   We tried the more basic Italian foods since this was our first time. The red sauce is excellent (lasagna, bolognese, spaghetti and meatballs). Bread was very good, though ala carte. Aroncini was very good, though only 4 small bites. Don’t go expecting Olive Garden fare or prices. This is high end Italian and very good.

    We decided to try Bella Colibri for our anniversary dinner. We were very pleased with the attentive service, excellent food and warm ambiance. Our only complaint would be that as the restaurant filled up it got a little bit loud, but perfectly understandable when surrounded by everyone having a wonderful time. Cheers!

    Didn’t like that we were seated outside the actual restaurant where it was really noisy. Was meant to be a special meal for out of town guests that flopped. We live in Golden but won’t be back for a while, which is a shame. Our server - Timothy I think - was excellent!

    Great date night spot. The outdoor enclosed seating is pretty great considering it's in a parking lot! The staff is super friendly, and the food is exceptional. A local gem.

    I do not normally write reviews as I am usually satisfied with restaurants and hotels. We were excited to try this Italian restaurant in Golden. We invited another couple to join us. We were sorely disappointed. Food was nothing special and the prices outrageous for the quality of food. The lasagna and lamb ragout had no real flavor. The red wine we had at $48 was bland. We apologized to our friends who joined us for the lack of flavor in the food. There are so many nice restaurants like Cafe Jordano in Lakewood that have great Italian food at a reasonable price. We will not be back to Bella Colibri.

    This was our first visit but we will be returning. Great ambience! Our server was delightful and attentive. We had bread and olives as appetizers (Excellent!). Spinach and burrata salads were also excellent. Fruita de Mar and lasagna for the main course were very good. Finished our meal with sorbetto and gelato. I highly recommend Bella Colibri!

    Excellent, professional service and the best Italian food we've had outside of Italy! All the pasta is made in-house and it's obvious from the first bite. The first time we ate here, the table of 10 next to us was so noisy we couldn't even carry on a conversation. I thought it must have been the acoustics. But last night, every table but 2 was filled and we could carry on a normal conversation, so I realize it was the overly robust large party the first time.

    Started with the burrata for $17, which was very good. My date and I then each ordered the lamb tagliatelle at $37 each. She seemed to really enjoy hers, so I kept my mouth shut and choked down my cold serving with clumpy pasta. The waitress then told us they had the best tiramisu anywhere. It was probably the worst tiramisu anywhere! It was just dry cake with whipped cream and cocoa powder basically. Perhaps it was Pepperidge Farm from King Soopers? By the way, their menu on OpenTable is out of date, so beware, the choices may be different and the prices in real life are A LOT higher! $40 for lasagna! This all said, they had other dishes that looked pretty good, but it is expensive.

    A real gem. Small, brick walled restaurant was nicely decorated. Background noise was minimal to enable conversation. The restaurant seems to attract a clientele who doesn't need to cackle or shout at the table. Service was gracious and efficient. Food was outstanding. We ordered a couple of appetizers then four entrees that we shared family -style. Presentation was wonderful and flavor and texture was great. Wine list didn't' need to be long because all choices were quality. I understand why this was recommended by my son.

    This was the first time we had dinner here and we looked at the menu on their website before we came. However when we got our menus at the restaurant the prices were $10 To $16 more than what they say on the website. Ex: I got the branzino and it was $50 and website says $36. We asked the manager/waiter he said the website has our old fees. Luckily we can afford these prices but for someone who is on a budget please beware.

    We celebrated a birthday and enjoyed a table for two with a pleasant ambience, good food, and excellent service. It’s not the type place which will provide a complimentary birthday dessert or put a candle on a dessert one orders if that is your interest. However, if you like a more intimate setting with good food and service, it is highly recommended.
