Excellent as always! Pleasant, efficient service, delicious pizza, made using lots of fresh, local ingredients and a lovely, chilled atmosphere. The best pizza in Belfast 🙂

This is without doubt a pizza lovers paradise - wonderful pizzas, flatbreads and doughballs - first class front of house (friendly, helpful and extremely professional) - highly recommended!

We visited this place on Saturday 5th September 2020, and we did not have a good experience at all. There were very little positives and many negatives. Let's start with the pros:
1) staff was friendly, always ready to help, fast and smiling
2) free tap water at the table
That’s it.
Let's now see the negatives:
1) the pizza was unevenly cooked, the inside of the base was dump and chewy, heavy to digest it. There were flakes of salt on top, annoying when in the mouth, not how it should be done. The bottom of the base was poorly cooked.
3) both our pizzas were oily, symptom of poor knowledge of how to treat the toppings
4) dessert(tiramisù) was nearly not edible, we finished it only because costs 6 pounds. The cream was not creamy, way too hard, it was like that they just put some mascarpone without working it. Biscuits were dry, very little traces of coffee.
We are Italians and we know how these things should be done. There are better places to eat pizza and tiramisù in Belfast. We will not go back there, on top of that it is expensive for the level of food they serve.

I understand it was a busy night although having to wait 1 hour to get seated for a booked table was a bit nuts (the people who had our table where VERY slow and overstayed the time limit).

Owner was nice enough to give us a free drink to say sorry.

Our waitress asked us for our drink order and we needed more time, so she claimed she would be back in a minute or two... then proceeded to never come back. Another waitress recognised that we were waiting for a long time and took our FULL order (we had that much time to organise food etc)

The food was very nice which lightened the mood and makes up most of the stars within this review.

Reason for 4 stars not 5* - Need to have some clarity on seating when booking online.... When you book online it says restaurant or outdoor seating. The restaurant has an area outside that has covered seating which has a nice vibe. I booked that as I thought it would be good. When we arrived at the restaurant the waitress pointed to an uncovered outdoor area with tables which had the rain bouncing off it and said that's where our table was located. I said there was no way we could sit in the rain, she said it was stated online that it was outdoor and I said to her that the other area is also outdoor but covered. Eventually she managed to get us a table inside but it was a bit of an awkward start to the evening especially because we had brought people for the first time. As usual though the food was amazing! Definitely some of the best pizza around. Atmosphere was great as the place was buzzing with people. The service at the table was great!!

I had booked an outdoor table believing this was covered over but it wasn’t! When the rain came on staff were very accommodating. This was very kind when very busy.

We came here for a family members birthday. We were greeted with a friendly smile and brought to our table who h was right beside the toilets. We could smell the toilets but were happy enough to sit there upon closing the door. I ordered a margherita which was delicious but my family ordered the beef and Guinness pizzas which they found a bit tasteless. The noise in the restaurant was OK except for the manic Pogues styles music which was not relaxing. We asked for it to be changed and the waiter obliged kindly and changed it to something more fitting for a restaurant. Overall the experience was OK but Im unsure if we would rush back.
