From the entrees;Veal marsala & the pasta dish with zucchini & seafood were not the best. Appetizers the prince Edward’s mussels & burrata were good but prosciutto/melon was only ok. Waiter was hurried.

We had family in town for Thanksgiving and the six of us enjoyed a cocktail at the bar. The bartender, Michael was fantastic! We enjoyed appetizers including the ceviche - delish, octopus - very tasty and mussels - to die for! Great wine and topped off with dessert - it was a great experience all around! Not to mention the service was superb!

Unexpected and delicious discovery! Not looking for Italian in key west but so glad we tried it. Chef's civiche and veal agnolotti were to die for. Octopus app was tender and lemony. Great service and lovely water view. We have it on our list for next time.

One of our best meals EVER in Key West! Perfectly cooked octopus appetizer. Lobster scampi over zucchini noodles was amazing. Linguini with white clam sauce was big even at 1/2 portion. Perfect Manhattans we’re just that, so you know the bartender knew her stuff. Jarrod, our server, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We’d splurge again in a heartbeat for a place like this!

Excellent crusty Italian Bread Had to ask for olive oil for dipping as they only put butter on table. Procuitte and melon was very good. Mussels appetizer was excellent as was the osso bucco. Chicken dish was a little dry but tasted good. Drinks very good Service was outstanding Atmosphere was very nice and outside of the restaurant was a small smoking lounge. Very nice

Nice venue but better places to be had in the area. You know it’s bad when the waiter has a hard time recommending dishes. My wife got a chicken dish that was rubbery and terrible.

Cesear salad was great but our main entries were not. Grouper piccata was tasteless. The veal Marsala did not taste good either. Service was excellent. Our waiter was professional and attentive. We can not recommend solely on the food!

Our server Jarrod did an excellent job. Food was wonderful, only glitch was appetizer, burrata with heirloom tomatoes, was served and it was plain mozzarella with beef steak tomatoes, not burrata and heirlooms. Jarrod brought out the correct cheese without hesitation and the beef steak tomatoes were just as good. Other appetizers were very enjoyable and the entree I had was super. Lobster with zucchini linguini, al dente, seasoned fra diavolo, really hit the mark. A great night with good friends.

Excellent experience from start to finish. I love the upscale dinning experience with outstanding food and service. The modern nautical flare of the dinning room situated close to the pier is very appealing! Dinning room has white tablecloths, nice seating throughout the room. Dress nicely and be prepared to be “wowed”. The opening number is the bread served in a garlic butter oil combo - warm and yummy. Next appetizers were butternut squash ravioli , kale salad and Arancini rice balls. The rice balls with sauce were to die for. Savory and delicious. Kale salad is healthy and yummy. We have ordered the butternut squash ravioli multiple times and always love it. Wine was great! Entrees were bolognese tagliatelle, pork Ossa buco and special was wide Parpadelle noodles with jumbo scallops and shrimp in a cheese sauce. Everything we had was too rare! Super tasty food and everybody loved it. Service was spot on too. Highly recommended! A++++++

The food was absolutely amazing. If you don’t try the mussels your missing out on an incredible experience for the palate. The black grouper piccata was just delicious. Highly recommend Bel Mare.

Excellent service, delicious food and beautiful ambience. Also, it was nice and cool inside because they had windows closed and AC was working on a very humid (and honestly gross) 90 degree day which made it a better experience. Key West doesn't have many restaurants as nice as this one. Great job, guys! We will be back.

We were promptly greeted and shown to our table, a lovely spot with fabulous views of the boats and harbor. Our server Darren gave us some info about the menu and set about getting our drinks. The mussels appetizer was delicious; I could’ve drunk the broth, but I didn’t. The Lobster scampi and veal Bolognese were both delicious choices, and half servings were more than enough.

Last minute dining reservation. It was just delicious and the staff was great. Arancini was fabulous and was thrilled it was on the menu since it usually isn't. Proscuitto e melone was a treat for my husband and he loved it. Lobster was most expensive but delish and shrimp with vegetable spirals was a treat for me. EXPENSIVE meal but it added to our wonderful last night in Key West.

The food and service are always superb! The noise level was high as there was two families there with small children screaming constantly. We were not able to sit by the window that we had requested as it would have been next to the families. They had no regard to others that were dining. At times I had trouble hearing my husband talk. It is not a place for small children and loud talking families.
