Excellent dining experience in Inverness, especially for a hotel restaurant. Interesting menu with Scottish options of fish, venison and other fare. The cranachan for desert not to be missed. Fine options for wines. We were cared for by Tom who was not only very knowledgeable but also so professional, friendly and took as much time as we and other guests needed or wished for. Overall, a great dining experience with true highland hospitality

Cullen skink came out cold, and also the charcuterie board wasn’t worth £18. The amount of meat and oatcakes doesn’t cut it for 5 people. Thought meal was very expensive for what we got.

Beautiful surroundings and very attentive staff. Mothers day present was a lovely touch. It was a set menu and therefore gluten free options were slightly limited however the beef was really good with great roast potatoes and gf Yorkshire pudding. Desserts were a good selection. I had the lemon posset which was very good.

The reception staff and the Dining room staff were all very pleasant and helpful. They wasted no time in bringing menus and taking our order. The meal was first class - well prepared and presented - the soup, in particular was excellent. Our first time in this new venue but we'll be back.

The venue is relaxing and comfortable with great view of the river. Very attentive staff and nothing was a bother. Very accommodating to dietary restrictions. Food was okay and well presented but no wow factor which I had expected from all the great reviews I had read.
