Upscale but normal-priced Chinese/Asian fusion with lots of excellent menu choices, huge portions (!), friendly service, very nice ambience, and white-tablecloth settings with forks and knives. The filet mignon was buttery, and other dishes were equally delicious. This place is a gem.

We dine here frequently and I always comment that the service can be spotty however the food is very good. This was certainly the case on our last visit. Arrived at approximately 6:40 for a 6:45 reservation and had requested a booth. A family of 3 walked in just ahead of us. The hostess sat them at a booth which was not requested. The manager/host (Dylan) is usually at the desk when we arrive and always reviews the reservation. When it was our turn to be seated, there were no booths available. We then waited over 20 minutes for our waiter to acknowledge us while tables that sat after us were quickly tended to by another waiter. As we hit the 30 minute mark, we finally had an opportunity to order. My husband and I often order the Peking Duck with a side of string beans which we made the drive for that night. Our waiter proceeded to tell us that we would have to wait and additional 25 minutes for it to be prepared. Quite disappointed, we made other selections. My husbands entree came out 25 minutes later and mine arrived after he was finished. The family that was seated at the booth ordered the peking duck with a side of vegetables and was almost done while I was still waiting for my entree. Food was fine, however our evening was not. Spoke to Dylan who tried to make it right however this was a total fiasco. If you are short staffed, do NOT take reservations. In addition, our waiter was clearly overwhelmed which we have witnessed before. Unfortunately, there is no way to predict the service.

Food is always good. Service can be spotty although our waiter last night was very attentive. Started with shrimp egg rolls and filet mignon. The shrimp were delicious, crunchy on the outside with tender shrimp and vegetables inside. Would not order the filet mignon again. Very thick shell with salty ground beef inside. For entrees, we ordered the scallops with mixed vegetables and the black pepper shrimp and scallops. Both were delicious and an excellent value.

Disappointed with this visit. Think the server may have been relatively new, didn’t know the specials, didn’t offer dessert choices…not a huge deal but had an impact on the experience. Found the food to be average at best. Ordered a shrimp dish with asparagus, got a giant portion of asparagus and vegetables, 6 large shrimp but way overcooked, hard to cut and really tough. Sauce on this dish was rather tasteless. Don’t think I will return to this restaurant.

The food was OUTSTANDING! We had pan fried pork dumplings that were extremely tasty. We also had chilled sesame noodles that were among the best we have ever had. For our main dish we had black pepper filet mignon pieces that were served with peppers and onions and came out on a sizzling plate. Wow, it was tender and delicious. The waiter was friendly and another waiter was nice enough to take our picture when we asked. We will definitely return!

This was our first visit to the restaurant. We choose to come here based on outstanding reviews. We came for lunch. The waitress, was horrible & rude. I asked her what was in the Beijing Bistro Signature Soup, she had absolutely no clue. Maybe some chicken vegetables, she didn't even try to find out. I wanted to bring it home for later on, but she didn’t bother asking. We ordered 2 lunch specials (both of us had the same dish, Mango Chicken with tangy sauce). Neither one of us, ever had this dish prior. Nothing on the menu stated it was a spicy dish, guess what it wasn't a spicy dish, but the excuse we receive from the waitress was "well sometimes the chef likes to be creative." Please don’t get me wrong, the sauce was good, but it wasn’t what was ordered, and I don’t ever order spicy dishes. She didn't even tell the manager there was an issue. After paying, and still no response as to what was the sauce, I asked her again, but this time the manager overheard. She then went and asked the chef, needless to say he put chili flakes in the tangy sauce. The manager was very nice and refunded our meal. The waitress on the other hand should find a new job.

I've been doing 'takeaway' from the restaurant since Covid and have always enjoyed anything I've ordered. Last night I decided it was time to go back to the restaurant and eat there. To be honest, I thought that the dishes I ordered were better eaten at home. The service was outstanding but the ambiance is lacking. There were only 2 tables and one of them was very loud. I can only imagine what the noise level is like when the restaurant is full. Maybe last night it was just a little 'off' but for now I think I'll continue to order takeaway.
