Dear first-time visitors, we would like to bring to your attention that you can count on a longer wait for your food. Our kitchen is as tiny as the restaurant and can only accommodate one Chef. However, our Chef will offer you an amuse bush while you wait.
Could be cheaper, but the food is healthy and organic.
This is hands-down the best food in Bay Ridge. The chef is clearly creative with his flavors and you can’t find these dishes anywhere else in Bay Ridge. Excellent borscht, terrific beet bucatini, amazing beets and carrots hummus. I have always loved everything I’ve tried.
The place is very quiet and cozy and their food tasted very fresh. I prefer quiet places where I can have a conversation without trying to raise my voice over the music and other people. Beets and Carrots definitely met that preference. :)
Outstanding food, innovative menu & helpful service.
Each member of our 4-person party had a different entree & we each loved it.
Great food. They have BYOB and charge a fair corkage fee. Since everything is cooked fresh, the wait can be long to get the food. It was almost 1 hour before we got our appetizers but that being said, the flavors and the food were terrific.
Despite the fact that one person from our group did not arrive and the other one arrived late to our reservation, the restaurant was accomodating. We had brunch and dessert, which was really nice. It definitely was a farm-to-table experience.
Amazing and delicious spot in bay ridge ! His food is unlike any other !! His seasonal menus keep us coming back for more !

The food was delicious and fresh! It’s a cute place. Nice people! We even met some people at the next table over who dine there frequently and they were super friendly. Staff is very gracious. Prepare to wait a bit while the chef works magic in the kitchen & prepares your food, bearing in mind that good things take time :-)
Food was good but portions were small. We were a party of 8 and, though rhe waiter was good, he was working alone.
Regardless, we had a great time and this is a good restaurant for interesting farm to table food!
We always enjoy going to Beets and Carrots. The chef is outstanding and creative; he uses fresh and organic produce and meat so you always know you’re getting something of good quality. It’s kind of like fine dining in a hidden casual setting.
We went here on New Year’s Eve and had an absolutely delicious dinner. There were 3 of us and we each ordered something different. For appetizer we had the Foie Gras Brulee, Cauliflower and Pumpkin Soup. These were outstanding. Absolutely delicious starters. (held ourselves back from licking the plates). Our entrees were Wild Boar Papardelle, Veal Cheeks and Beef Stroganoff and one side Duck Sausage. These were very good as well. The only caveat was that we brought 2 bottles of wine – didn’t mind the corkage fee $10 however, since we were such a small party and ordered Espresso we felt the corkage fee for the dessert wine at the end should not have been charged. But that doesn’t take away from the 5 STAR awesome dinner.

Always a delicious unique meal. Started with the baby beets and carrots with a whipped goat cheese and potato gnocchi. Heaven! My friend had the mushroom stuffed tomato which she loved. We each had the pork entree and shared the delicious fries. A lovely selection of homemade desserts. A delight!
