BeetleCat is open nightly for dinner, serves lunch on Fridays and offers Donut Brunch in the Den on Saturdays and Sundays. Enjoy Oyster Happy Hour all night on Mondays and during limited hours Tuesday through Friday, or stop in for Late Night on Friday and Saturday for a special menu and a live DJ. Menu highlights include seasonal crudos, lobster roll, udon noodle with spicy shrimp sugo, moqueca fish stew and Bev’s clam strip burger, all served alongside tiki cocktails.
Top-notch hospitality in a relaxed atmosphere is how some would describe this place, but to me, it was much more. From the time I reached out to grab the front door, until the last bite, and as we left, we felt like rockstars! Jake was wonderful with his selections and insight throughout the meal, as was the rest of the staff. Nothing seemed off, and time was lost from having too much fun drinking the fabulous cocktails. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to impress, since the food matched the service! As this review comes to a close, I will leave you with a must tidbit; get. the. mussels.
Server was not as good as other visits. The soft shell crab interpretation is not a try-again item. The oysters, cocktail and dessert were great.
Not good food. For the steak and eggs. Eggs were not cooked enough and steak was wayyyyyy overdone.
Food was good but priced to high for very small portions.
Awesome! Had the doughnut chicken sandwich.... amazing.
Great food, friendly service, took care of us even though we were late.
One word: amazing! Great experience from hostess to server to bartender and every super-friendly person we met. This was definitely the first of many visits to the BC!
We enjoyed our Birthday dinner at Beetlecat. I have already recommended the restaurant to my other sister-friends
The lobster roll was the best I’ve ever had in my life!
We came for brunch- everything was yummy, well executed and impeccable service. Can’t wait to go back!
Worth 5 stars just for the lobster roll. Man it’s good.
The food was amazing and the manager was awesome. I had an issue with my cocktail and he corrected it right away. Our server was okay - he didn’t like feedback. Two servers argued in front of us while deboning fish. Although we had a reservation, we didn’t have a table - the host sat us at a community table — so we grabbed a table downstairs, which worked out. However, the ambiance was entirely different from upstairs which was calm. Downstairs was super loud and the bar patrons were uber wasted. The food was so good, we got over it really quickly. Poke salad, kale salad, a fantastic fish , salmon dip, twice fried wings and a lobster roll later, and we were good. A DJ came out later that night and played great music . Upstairs, which is where we intended to sit, is very different and more appropriate for a quiet dinner. Downstairs is all the way live.
The food at Beetlecat is delicious. I was shocked at how large the portions were, but I now know for future visits. I will say the tables are too close together. I understand that there is business to be had, but a little elbow room never hurt. Our server actually tripped over the table next to us twice. Poor girl. But other than, I truly enjoyed my meal.
My family and I went for Sunday Brunch. Service was courteous and gracious. The food was tasty and a pretty good value(the doughnuts are extraordinarily delicious). It was not crowded. We look forward to patronizing again for dinner.
It was our first time here and we will definitely be back! All of the food and every drink we tried was fantastic. Highly recommend :)
Fun atmosphere with great food and service!
Our server was great! Super attentive and nice personality however the food service was slow for a Sunday and it wasn’t busy.
Loved everything about our meal, so many different options all amazing. Cannot wait to return and try the rest of the menu. Service was perfect, attentive but not overwhelming. Went with quite a variety from the menu and loved everything. The standout for us was the poke bowl....what do you do to those mushrooms??? Could eat a whole plate of them but the combination with the bowl was perfect. Thanks for a wonderful evening!!
The service wAs subpar
We got our drinks after our dinner and my dish came out wrong
Had to search for our server she wasn’t attentive at all and place was empty
Food was good
Food & Service good. Very loud - too noisy to talk across table with dining partner.
The lobster roll and mimosas are good. If you aren't into those things, you can skip this place and visit any restaurant that serves brunch.
Always a perfect meal, 1 of my top 5 favorite places in Atlanta including my parents’ house.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Beetlecat! The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful, the drinks were awesome, and the food really exceeded my expectations! The tuna tartare was my favorite dish. I loved the decor and all the little touches that proved that they care about the whole experience. Thanks for a great night!
Great neighborhood meal with my brother who came to town to visit. Both of us were totally impressed in this casual but upscale seafood centered gem. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful experience! Will definitely come by again!
Food and service both were excellent. There was a fluke that caused my food to take a little longer, but both our server Cole and the manager went above and beyond to make it right.
Made a late reservation on a Saturday night mussels tasty fried okra outstanding!; eggplant a little bitter. Timely service, energetic noise level. Overall great dining experience.
Fantastic meal. Great menu. Beautiful space. Perfect spot in Inman Park!
My husband and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary at Beetle Cat! Our first time there! Recommended by our son. It was INCREDIBLE!!! Can’t wait to go back and it will be soon!!!
First, there is a limited lunch menu that was not known until reaching the restaurant. Second, there was a rip in the cushion of the seating with a knitted blanket intended to cover the tear. The salad was supposed to be a kale salad, but had very little kale. Rather, brown lettuce and dark fruit (allegedly peaches) were what was delivered.
While I have has the lobster rolls prior, these were flavorless meat with haphazard seasoned mayonnaise applied more to the plate. The chips however were so over-seasoned and under-cooked they were inedible.
Ford Fry may want to revisit this place and decide if opening for lunch is a good idea. It is not worth the $120 I paid and it is clear the staff was phoning it in. It is especially nice when the waiter tries to tell you that your reason for not choosing oysters is "an old wive's tale". It may be, but if I tell you I am not eating oysters, you are not going to convince me.
AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Expensive bad food in a run down atmosphere based on physical condition and staff apathy.
Nice place. Good service, and the food seemed fresh. I went on a Wednesday night and had my choice of seating. I did not go to the downstairs area.
Delicious but a bit high in price. Good portions. Well done.
I would recommend Beetlecat to anyone! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and happy hour is the best deal in town. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful about all of the items on the menu. The cocktails are amazing as well! Great place, can’t wait to go back!
Good time until the table filled up next to us with a very loud party. But overall still a good evening.
Came for my brother’s birthday, his first time. Spencer was an amazing server and our meal, as usual, was fantastic. It’s just always a pleasure being at Beetlecat.
Brunch-lobster roll Best ever will go back will tell all my friends
Food was great service was Awesome
Thank so much for accommodating our party of 10. It was a birthday celebration and it went very smoothly thanks to your staff. The two hosts were amazing and our server was awesome too. The food was just as good as the service!
Everything was perfect!!!
Service was amazing! Definitely looking forward to doing it again.
