The menu transports you to the New England coast at the upstairs dining room and oyster bar, while the downstairs Den lends itself to a 70s surf shack. Enjoy fresh air on one of the two patios, both upstairs and downstairs. BeetleCat is open nightly for dinner and offers brunch in the Den on Saturdays and Sundays.

On Saturday, July 27th from 1–4PM, BeetleCat is throwing a Shark Week Skewer Party down in the Den! Celebrate summer (and sharks) with flame-grilled skewers, tropical cocktails, DJ beats, and beachy vibes. We’re serving up mahi and beef skewers with bold Thai and Vietnamese-inspired marinades, plus sides like green papaya salad, sticky rice, and grilled corn. Wash it down with one of our Shark Week cocktails — the Hammerhead Punch, Nurse Shark, or Great White. Tickets are $45 and include food and one drink ticket. Hawaiian shirts and costumes are encouraged — so throw on your fins and join us for a bite!

Dined in on a Friday night for a casual cousin meet-up. We were able to make reservations easily online. Upon arrival, the host kindly accommodated a last-minute increase in our party size without any issues. The service was attentive, and the teamwork among the staff was especially noticeable. I ordered the baked oysters, lobster roll, and fries. I had zero complaints about the food—everything was delicious. Although the fries didn’t come with the lobster roll by default, I was able to order them on the side. I also appreciated that they offered the lobster roll warm, as it’s typically served cold. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely return to try other items on the menu.

This was our first visit since the new menu was released and we weren’t big fans of the changes. The service was very good, the oysters and fry bread were great! But, we found the food to be very salty. The coconut fried rice was very different from past experiences with the new one lacking flavor and extremely salty. The lobster knuckles we found salty, tuna crudo, and beef tartare handrolls were ok. We have highly enjoyed Beetlecat in the past, but probably won’t be back since our favorites are no longer offered.

Missing some things from the old menu but that fried bread is worth the trip! Excellent service and attention from the whole team but especially Angel- she is the best!!!

My husband and I dine at Beetlecat to celebrate our anniversary every year and it never disappoints. The service, the food, and the atmosphere are all outstanding. We are so appreciative that several staff not only acknowledged our anniversary, but also went the extra mile to make our experience extra special.

This may be the first review I've every written in Open Table, but I feel I need to warn future cusomers. If you like cool donuts , this is a great place for you. For brunch, not so much. The menu is very limited so take a look before you order. Our party of seven over a half an hour for toast and locks, biscuits, bacon and eggs, and 2 burgers. Food was delivered in shifts of 4 or 5 minutes between Ex: my eggs and bacon came and after 10 minutes I cancelled the biscuits because the eggs were getting cold. The bacon was thick but undercooked/rubbery, the eggs were crumbled and dry. The salmon over toast looked okay but the toast itself was thin and dry. There were not very many people in the restaurant for such sub par food. Aside from my daughters donut which she thought was amazing, I could have made this breakfast at home much better in half the time . No-one had any drinks and somehow the bill was about $30/person. We went because we were late to book brunch on a sunday and it was the only place that could take us. All seven of us agreed we knew why after the meal. This place has potential with a great location, cool vibe and unique donut offerings, everything else needs a visit from Robert Irvine. Sorry ya'll, hope you take this feedback and do something with it.
