Featuring raw oysters and fresh seafood with international influences from executive chef Eddie Barrett, BeetleCat is a trendy restaurant and bar in Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood. The menu transports you to the New England coast at the upstairs dining room and oyster bar, while the downstairs Den lends itself to a 70s surf shack. Enjoy fresh air on one of the two patios, both upstairs and downstairs. BeetleCat is open nightly for dinner and offers brunch in the Den on Saturdays and Sundays.

On Saturday, July 27th from 1–4PM, BeetleCat is throwing a Shark Week Skewer Party down in the Den! Celebrate summer (and sharks) with flame-grilled skewers, tropical cocktails, DJ beats, and beachy vibes. We’re serving up mahi and beef skewers with bold Thai and Vietnamese-inspired marinades, plus sides like green papaya salad, sticky rice, and grilled corn. Wash it down with one of our Shark Week cocktails — the Hammerhead Punch, Nurse Shark, or Great White. Tickets are $45 and include food and one drink ticket. Hawaiian shirts and costumes are encouraged — so throw on your fins and join us for a bite!

My first time dining here. Was seated on the patio but it started raining 5 minutes in. Moved to high top bar and seated on end next to kitchen with staff constantly going in and out despite there being other tables indoors as well as 4-6 other places to sit at the bar. Ordered a salad with dressing on the side, it was brought out covered in dressing. Ordered a lobster roll with aioli on the side, it came out with aioli. Ordered fries with no salt, they came out with salt. I received the opposite of literally EVERYTHING I ordered. On top of that, I waited over 20 minutes for fresh fries, so I could not eat them with my lobster roll and by the time they finally arrived at the table, it was extremely cold. What I will say is that my server was very attentive despite how the food kept coming out. The food was decent, but not good enough for me to return. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended) and was a terrible, yet lasting first impression.

Why create a Lobster Roll and not provide a scoop of Cole slaw for a truer New England experience? Though the roll was yummy Why cut corners and be very chintzy? Even worse, there was not an openness to the suggestion There are better choices in my future thankfully

Beetlecat is that girl when it comes to oysters. We hit happy hour and were blown away—Katana Bay and Riptide were the clear stars: briny, fresh, and perfectly paired with a glass (or two) of their champagne and prosecco. The vibe? Laid-back but elevated. Service? Smooth and on point. If you’re an oyster lover with taste, this spot hits every mark.

From the host to the server (Devin) we had a great experience! Refreshing to visit an Atlanta establishment that doesn’t charge automatic 20% gratuity for poor service. Excellent service from the host to the server. Great food and ambience.

It was a bit loud downstairs. We could not have conversation because we had to shout at each other. The service was great. The food was good.

A must-have is the Fry bread. The new "grill" items are so-so. The oysters were delicious, and in the past, the burger has been as well.

Dined in on a Friday night for a casual cousin meet-up. We were able to make reservations easily online. Upon arrival, the host kindly accommodated a last-minute increase in our party size without any issues. The service was attentive, and the teamwork among the staff was especially noticeable. I ordered the baked oysters, lobster roll, and fries. I had zero complaints about the food—everything was delicious. Although the fries didn’t come with the lobster roll by default, I was able to order them on the side. I also appreciated that they offered the lobster roll warm, as it’s typically served cold. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely return to try other items on the menu.
