On Sunday, July 16th, from 1-4pm, BeetleCat is hosting a Shark Week party! Join us for food, drinks, games, a costume contest and surf rich music from our DJ. Menu offerings will include a “luau style pig plate” – a pulled pork sandwich with slaw, fried plantains and oooeee dipping sauce – & much more! Oh, and we’ll have a whole pig roast on La Caja China! Come take a bite and wash it down with the spicy, tequila-based “shark bite” – one of our special cocktail features. Tickets are $45 and include food and two drink tickets. Ride the wave to the den patio then for this BeetleCat-style luau!

Big stinky dog next to us. Shook his fur out. Spoiled the meal. Menu changed and my favorite meal was gone. Drinks were good. Ambiance was ok. Would not visit any time soon.

The food was fresh and flavorful! My oysters were very fresh. I was hoping to be seating in the main dining area upstairs as the “The Den” downstairs is a bit more energetic. Overall, the service was excellent and I enjoyed my delicious meal!

Julianna was amazing and so informative about the menu. She never made us feel rushed, the mussels were INSANE bar made delicious cocktails and we were happily surprised they made a mean Caipirinha ❤️ thank you for a great time!

Fabulous food. Very pricey. Some people with a speaker came and stood out by the patio diners and decided to rap at about 100 decibles through half our time there, so if you care about your experience, don’t sit outside.

Words aren’t enough to describe how incredible Beetlecat is. The atmosphere and food are both incredible! Every time our amazing server (Jess) brought another dish to our table, it was somehow even better than the last. If you want the best caesar salad and coconut fried rice of your life, check them out — and don’t skip the fry bread! The best, crispiest, fluffiest bread I’ve ever had. We can’t wait to return.

The cod fish and fries and lobster sandwich entrees were good on quality but average on flavor. The hostess and wait staff we very cordial and accommodating which gave another star to the overall experience. But the big detractor was the lack of apparent cleanliness and freshness of the decor, and the dress and hygienic appearance of some of the support staff (e.g. cleaning, kitchen staff), which could benefit from greater attention to detail. For example, lack of grooming of hair (including beards) and nails detracted from a confidence that food preparation and handling is as should be expected. I caution Beetlecat to guard against the fatigue syndrome that plagues the food service industry; the tendency to start strong but then languish over time into mediocrity. Two restaurant groups that seem to have avoided fatigue syndrome are Houston’s and OK Cafe/Blue Ridge Grill.

Fantastic atmosphere and interior design. Food was absolutely incredible, and I’m still thinking about it a day later. Oysters were some of the very best we’ve had in Atlanta. Lobster Roll was hands down, the best I’ve ever had. Lobster was so juicy and had a delicate sweetness. Portions were a little on the small side, but were adequate and designed so that you could enjoy appetizers and oysters without feeling like you went “overboard”. Drinks were well crafted and balanced. Only downside was that our server was stretched thin among tables both inside and outside. However, we will definitely be back to enjoy the food again.

Beetlecat is a favorite, we go all the time. Decided to make it our last meal in Atlanta before we moved across the country. Service was unusually slow, but our waitress was great and the food was as good as it always is. We've had better nights at beetlecat, but no specific complaints overall.

My friend joined me for brunch on Saturday and though the lobster roll was good, I was anticipating having oysters and was saddened to learn there is a separate brunch menu that does not include oysters until dinner time. I was also displeased that our server did not greet us until about 45 minutes into our reservation after we requested her presence.

Consistently one of the best restaurants in Atlanta. Oysters are amazing and clean, food is ON POINT. Squid ink pasta was outstanding. The flounder was so creative and delicious. The service really made the evening a level above for us. Our waiter Anthony was attentive, fun, always there when we needed him. The hostess (I didn't catch her name) was so nice and accommodating. Whenever I have out-of-town guests I bring them to Beetlecat for a meal they will never forget.

Incredibly fresh fish and oysters and this has been consistent for years. The menu changes so I some of my fav dishes weren’t available during my visit. But over all, the fish & chips and flounder were delicious! The staff was stellar and attentive. I sincerely appreciate their commitment to customer service.
