We had a great time eating at the bar. Calamari was very tasty. Shrimp Suso was just ok. However our server/bartender Talia was fantastic! Overall a great experience.
Good food, great server
The food and cocktails were delicious We enjoyed the variety of oysters to share around the table. The coconut pie and salmon poke were especially delicious. Our server was very informed and attentive. We will definitely be back!
The food was great! I highly recommend the donut fried chicken sandwich for brunch alongside the waffle fries. Our waiter wasn’t the friendliest, but we were serviced and everything came out correct, so can’t complain!
Waiter was quite great!
I love fried bread !!!!!!! And spicy noodle !!!!!!!
Oyster HH has limited options but dish was fresh and sauces were nice. Rest of the menu is tapas style with very incomplete options. Not a place to go for dinner - good place for drinks with friends and shareables. Wasn’t crazy about food or drink options - will just be an oyster HH option for me. Optimist, Watchman’s are both better
Had the lobster roll.. delicious!! Donuts are amazing as well.
Great, as usual. One of my favorite brunch places
Great atmosphere, amazing food & cocktails. Easy to share with group. Will definitely be back.
Great ambiance and food. Started with a Salty Dog cocktail and enjoyed a Thai shrimp dish. Service was pleasant and very attentive. Food is “family style” so portions are large. Between the 3 of us, we could have ordered two entrees and been satisfied. This was my best meal in Atlanta and I highly recommend. I live in Nashville and there’s nothing like Beetlecat here locally. Thank you for the enjoyable dining experience Beetlecat!
It was freezing during our visit. We wore our jackets the entire time, kind of awkward. Waitress was a little all over the place and brought wrong plates. We had amazing food none the less and a great date night!!
Good lobster roll $30. Ok Salmon Poke bowl. The octopus dish was just ok.
.Oysters were great but the entrees seemed hastily thrown-together and unevenly-cooked.
Super fun hang out.. food good.. service fun ... fellow diners friendly.. great time great ambiance.. will go again superb atmosphere
Great food and service. Lobster rolls are delicious.
Great service. Great food!
Always really good! We save Beetlecat for special occasions.
One of my favorite places for a casual drink, seafood, small bites or just for a fun place to bring company. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu.
Brought my wife to Beetlecat for her birthday dinner. We had been to the Den a few times but had never eaten in the dining room upstairs until now. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He also brought me my wine to the Den when I snuck off to write in her birthday card. Instead of the usual giant dessert most restaurants bring you after you’re already stuffed, our waiter brought us a pre-dinner shot with our drinks. The menu was primarily seafood as you’d expect for a restaurant named after a boat. A few Thai inspired dishes. The standout dish for me was the butternut squash with onion fonduta cheese. A great appetizer to split with someone else (it’s a whole butternut squash).
We love Beetlecat! Great food, friendly service and beautiful decor / vibe. Love how it’s trendy but no one is stuck up!
Everything was wonderful! Service was outstanding!
Wonderful experience, fantastic service, unique food choices, a fun night.
The Lobster Roll is what they're famous for and for good reason.
Just wasn’t impressed with the fusion menu. Didn’t care for the items we ordered and shared. The roasted squash was the biggest disappointment. Sounded good but presented terribly. And lacked flavor or seasoning unless you ate the cheese end. The mussels were gritty (sand) and not cleaned well either. The garlic bread served with the mussels was saturated in butter and very unappetizing. Sorry not sorry that I wasn’t a fan of this place. Heard the lobster roll was decent but I’m not a fan of mayonnaise so I would never bother to try.
Beetlecat is one of those rare restaurants where you would be comfortable in jeans or dressed for the theater. Notwithstanding the come-as-you-are vibe, the service is absolutely high class. The servers and hosts always seem to be there when you need something - whether a dropped napkin or a fresh drink, but they're never intrusive. The drinks are creative and delicious, and the wine list is quality. If you like spicy, try the shrimp sugo. The butternut squash is the literal best I've ever had (it's a large squash that can be shared by 4-6, btw). And the miso glazed collar is delicate, but filling. Beetlecat is my favorite restaurant in the area.
Great food and service
The food was good but service was lacking. Our server didn’t come back to check on us. I was in need of a coffee refill and she never even bothered to come back ask. I had to ask another server to get a refill. In addition she brought out 1 small single serving creamer for 3 people drinking coffee at a table which we all requested cream. The food however was delicious.
Amazing lobster roll. Explosive flavors, very impressive.
Wonderful place to grab seafood and less than the Optimist
A wonderful meal with family curated by Kelsey who was thoughtful, attentive and an expert on the cuisine. All the stars.
Food was AMAZING! Service was sub par at best.
Great we will be back soon
Great food and vibe
Everything was delicious: oysters, fried nam bread, butternut squash and of course, the lobster roll.
The food and atmosphere were outstanding, our waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a fun date night!
Food was beautiful, best selection of oysters I've seen in a long time. Wait staff also on point...there when you needed her, not interrupting when you didn't. Can't wait to go back.
