The food was good but service was lacking. Our server didn’t come back to check on us. I was in need of a coffee refill and she never even bothered to come back ask. I had to ask another server to get a refill. In addition she brought out 1 small single serving creamer for 3 people drinking coffee at a table which we all requested cream. The food however was delicious.
Amazing lobster roll. Explosive flavors, very impressive.
Wonderful place to grab seafood and less than the Optimist
A wonderful meal with family curated by Kelsey who was thoughtful, attentive and an expert on the cuisine. All the stars.
Food was AMAZING! Service was sub par at best.
Great we will be back soon
Great food and vibe
Everything was delicious: oysters, fried nam bread, butternut squash and of course, the lobster roll.
The food and atmosphere were outstanding, our waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a fun date night!
Food was beautiful, best selection of oysters I've seen in a long time. Wait staff also on point...there when you needed her, not interrupting when you didn't. Can't wait to go back.
The food was excellent! Lots of choices and every one was satisfied. The waitstaff deserves extra stars. I reserved "the den" but since this was my first time at the restaurant, I didn't know the set up would not work for my party of ten. I told the hostess, no problem, she set us up as if we had chosen up stairs all along. Our waitress was MORE than accommodating for our many questions and food choices. Definitely will be back again.
The wings were outstanding!
By far the best seafood restaurant in Atlanta! The atmosphere and staff are so mellow!
Wonderful birthday lunch! The waiter was very attentive and even sang a different birthday tune every time he came to the table. Lobster rolls were fantastic!
Starting with the service both upstairs and in The Den I can’t say enough nice things. The octopus was exceptional and I order octopus most places I go if it is on the menu. The sauce and homemade pita were clear differentiators and contributed to our determination to come back even through tough Friday night traffic in Atlanta. A must visit spot.
Amazing food. Very inventive. Crap service!
We had fantastic service! Our food took a little longer than normal and our great waiter brought as some extra drinks on the house. The wait wasn’t even that long and that’s how we could tell it was an excellent restaurant and service. We had 11 people and everyone loved their meal too!
The donuts were amazing. But 6 of us went for brunch on Sunday and they were out of steak, tea and one other thing I cant remember. The service was slow and then Id say half of us had an issue with our orders ( cheese, when we asked for no cheese. Over easy egg when we asked for well done etc). We waited almost 40 minutes to get our food so they didnt want to ask for a new plate.
All of our food came out at different times so some people were already finished by the time others had gotten their first dish.
The food was OK. we had to ask for extra salt, pepper, ketchup and sriracha to add some flavor.
The decor is so beautiful and the staff was very accommodating.
Beetlecat's trendy vibe is fun and engaging; the service staff are friendly and helpful.
We had an impromptu anniversary lunch, I definitely recommend their lobster roll, waffle fries & little debbie cake. Service was A+!
Went to Bettlecat on Halloween to celebrate our son’s birthday. The restaurant was pretty empty yet we were seated right by the kitchen, the service was extremely slow and it took forever for the food to come out of the kitchen. The food was great, but not sure I want to spend the money for poor service and food that takes forever getting to the table. Not a great experience.
Excellent food; great service. Mom enjoyed celebrating her birthday, and enjoyed everything.
It was our first time at Beetlecat and we loved it. It was a beautiful fall day and we got to eat outside so that was nice. Our food was delicious and our waiter great.
We started out with the kale salad which was tender with an interesting dressing. We ordered two lobster rolls (amazing!) and 1 shrimp dish (very good). Friendly staff, loud but nice ambiance, and fun experience. My only complaint is that my cocktail was very light on alcohol and 4 sips it was gone. I'm a light weight when it comes to alcohol but even for me that was a small drink.
Sat downstairs where there is a “chill vibe” that is part boat part 1950’s Rathskeller. Wished they had heaters for their outdoor seating cuz that looked awesome as place to hang. Recommend peel n eat shrimp! Go with people who like to split things with you as that is how the menu is designed...
Incredible food. Exceeded all expectations.
Birthday. Fun. Loud. Hard to hear but great food. The waiter Cory was awesome. Made me a special birthday cocktail
The Service was terrible. Overpriced food and drinks.
It was just ok. Nothing to wow about. Salt and pepper calamari salty as described with no dipping sauce. That would have been a bonus. Tuna Tartare was great. Kale salad with butternut squash great. Our server was super friendly. Nothing jumped out as wow I want to come back.
The food was amazing, highly recommend!,
Everything was amazing! My only setback is the tables are extremely too close
The food never disappoints!
Great for sharing with a group. Delicious food. Amazing server.
Had lobster roll for $30.00 was so so, with a scoop of mayo on top of the lobster. There was so much salt on the homemade chips you not eat them.
Had to ask for a server. The first server wore sunglasses and advised us he would try and find someone to help us as he was leaving for the day.
We ordered a pitcher of drinks which was mostly ice and the server did not fill the glasses.
The donuts which were suppose to be homemade were basically all the same with different toppings put on them. They were stale.
Will not be back .
The second server did a great job. But the food has gone down hill from the first time I ate here.
Landed new account
The $1 oyster special can't be beat! I can't wait to come back to try it again.
Top to bottom fantastic! We sat on the patio and it was lovely. Our waiters were so friendly, funny, and nice. And the food. Y’all. We had oysters - delicious and fresh and flavorful - and calamari - perfectly battered salty flavor bombs - and *lobster rolls* - swoon. The lobster rolls were heaven. The bun is decadently buttery and the lobster meat is juicy and soft. Amazing. To end we had the caramel apple cake. Holy moly. It was heated up and kind of like bread pudding. I cannot wait to come back!!!
Very poor service and food was not anything to rave about.
The best restaurant in the south.
The staff was wonderful....food delicious! We had the mussels and Grouper appetizers simply delicious
