Sunset view from every seat, abundant heaters, a new and delicious menu, and really excellent wait staff. Love this restaurant.

Great everything!!!!!

This was our first visit and we will definitely go back to try more offerings - we had the oysters on the appetizer menu, the fish and chips and the burger which was to die for - we finished it up with a lovely creme brulee - our server was outstanding ...

Service was ok, food solid

A warm welcome by hostess Laura, and a fabulous waiting job by Gina, made our visit to Beeside cafe like visiting a kind neighbors house for lunch. All the special cocktails are magical- enjoyed a lavender honey mimosa- freshing and festive! Fish tacos were tastey, and veg omelette hearty with side of tangy arugula salad. One of my favorite spots in Del Mar for ladies lunch.

Beeside Balcony exceeded our expectations. From the food to the service to the ambiance it didn’t disappoint. The menu was different from most but everything we had was delicious!

Oyster appetizer was magnificent- be sure to order some pita bread with it. Beside salad with salmon is a perfect lunch salad - salmon was cooked to perfection.

Felt so nice to be in the world again at Beeside. Beautiful night. lovely setting and delicious food and service. It was so nice we lingered longer than normal to soak up the ambience. It was well attended that night and we will definitely return to try other menu items............
Great job all around

Beeside Balcony is a cute outdoor terrace with a nice breeze and great vibe. Lots of interesting food choices. The rockfish tacos are delicious. Beet salad is also very good. Salad portions are not huge. If you’re hungry you should order something else with is. The trio of dips are great and the pita is heavenly.

Valentine’s Day. We had a great time. Great food, service and the chef is really good. Great octopus was served to us !

Excellent food , great service and romantic setting !

My husband and I live in Poway and traveled to Del Mar for a special date night. Christophe is always front and center - friendly and efficient. We had the crab cake - heavenly - the Chilean seabass - scrumptious - and the filet - perfect. My husband typically refrains from ordering steak while out because he prefers to cook it himself. This filet, however, was wonderfully juicy, great crust on the outside and very flavorful. We highly recommend Beeside Balcony. Not only are they friendly and serve great good, but you know you're supporting a locally owned business when you dine.

Food was cold. Service was poor, and prices were way to high for the mediocre food.

Beeside is always a top choice for us on date night! Great cocktails, great food and appetizers and the staff there are always friendly and knowledgable. To top it all off it has a great view during sunset!

The service was amazing! Our waitress was very friendly. The food was delicious!! We started with the Trio. I could’ve eaten that all night!! The pita was so good!! Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly!! We will definitely be going back!!!

BEESIDE BALCONY NEVER DISAPOINTS! You all have made an amazing success during crazy times, we all feel safe and the outdoor seating and views are unbeatable. Thank you for making all groups, my family, friends, large and small dining experiences FLAWLESS!!! Greg has been perfect the last few times, including a larger group of 8 ladies (lets be honest, keeping an 8 top CONSTANTLY happy not easy, yet he NAILED IT!)
We will always keep returning to see the view, the smiles and Cristophes menu, WELL DONE BEESIDE!

Small, casual, and quaint. Cute location which includes ample parking underneath in parking garage. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Lots of heaters for outdoor dining. Creative menu. Street noise was noticeable.

Great place for an outdoor lunch. Friendly service and good food.

Four of us (two couples) went to Beeside on a Sunday evening, Jan 31. The staff greeted us warmly. We started with the Bee's Board, which everyone liked. My husband and I were pleased to see one of our favorite Paso Robles wineries represented on the wine list (Niner). For dinner, two of us had filet mignon, one had the bucatini, and one had the smoked paprika tofu. For dessert we shared a slice of the baklava cake. Everyone was very happy with their food, and the ambiance was great (we were on the outdoor patio). We had a wonderful experience. Beeside is kind of pricey, but we've been to there a number times before, and they have never disappointed us.

First time dining here and was very pleased. The service was great with all the servers were attentive. I believe the manager or the owner brought out our food and she was delightful. Everyone on the staff that helped us made us feel welcomed. The food was great for the most part. The grilled oysters and the mussels were tasty. We also ordered the fried chicken, the filet mignon, and the shrimp scampi and they were all delicious. The only order that was OK was the salad my wife ordered. It needed a more flavor in the dressing, but just a bit. But that is not a knock on the place. Definitely a place we would go back to.

Nice spot. Parking available in back of restaurant. Made reservations via open table and liked that experience.
Wait staff exemplary and food delicious

This was our first time dining here and it was great. I chose it because it is all outdoor dining. The food was very tasty and they had a nice selection to choose from. We ordered 2 appetizers, the pita and dip platter and the crab cake. The pita bread was to die for, the three dips were very flavorful and the crab cake was flaky and full of yummy crab. My husband and I ordered their soup of the day (cream of mushroom), though I could have had a few bites of his as it was a huge bowl. The soup was creamy and had a ton of mushrooms - very good. I had the grilled fish tacos and they were light and delicious. My stepson had the tempura-fried chicken sandwich which he gobbled down and my husband had the octopus which was grilled perfectly. Overall it was a very good meal and we will be back!

This is our favorite ‘go-to’ spot for brunch! Excellent food, creative cuisine with many menu options. The staff is over the top friendly and super attentive. Their outside patio seating has such a lovely atmosphere. My girlfriend and I just keep coming back time and time again!

Outdoor dining. Great food. Well run. Will return.

Hostess was not very friendly. Server, Ryan was amazing. Our time ran over a bit and staff remained very professional and respectful. I wish they didn't have a 48 hour advance rule to secure a window table. At least, that is what i was told.

This spot was recommended as a safe, outdoor lunch venue from friends. Tables are well spaced, heaters plentiful, and service is friendly and prompt. It was the perfect place for lunch with my 28 year old daughter. Loved the specialty cocktails- honey lemonade gin cocktail is a light purple color with fresh lavender sprig is such a fun choice for ladies lunch! Roasted beet salad has plenty of arugula accented with goat cheese - yum! Mediterranean fish tacos were tasty. This is my new favorite lunch spot for a ladies lunch out.

I adore Beeside… They do everything right the few of course a spectacular but the service and the food are spot on and they bend over backwards to make you feel like a regular if you are and a special person if you were not… Love it love it love it!

Amazing experience

Excellent service and view, as well as ample parking in the garage below. Food was good, although a tad pricey and I would have liked to see the lunch burger on the dinner menu. We really enjoyed the cocktails and well planned beer selection, which surprisingly only had 2 IPA's and multiple other styles of beer. A nice touch in a town where so many places offer 10 IPA's and 2-4 other beers. An excellent spot for date night and I highly recommend getting there before sunset.
