Beerbistro specializes in cooking with beer and providing a wide variety of beers to pair with each dish. On the menu, you’ll find a suggested pairing with every item, from appetizers and small plates to sandwiches, salads, main courses and pizzas. The motto at Beerbistro is "changing the way people think about beer," and it does that every day.
Start your meal with a creative appetizer or small plate like the Scotch egg, cheese & lager fondue or potato truffle perogies. Next, indulge in a sandwich or main course like the signature Bistro beer burger, lamb shortloin or snap pea tagliatelle. Beerbistro also has a variety of innovative pizza options like duck confit and hog wild pizzas. If you’re in the mood for seafood, choose from a range of mussles steamed in beer broth and served with fresh baked sourdough bread.
We live in Mississauga and we dine there when ever we are in the city for a show or other event. It's always a treat and the fries are amazing!!
Best place in Toronto for lunch and dinner, great menu, great beer choices. Excelent for all occasions. The fries/frits are out of this world, among many menu listings. Would recommend the Beer Bistro to locals and visitors alike, for a great dining and beer experience.
I always go to Beer Bistro when I am visiting Toronto. And I always sit at the counter. The bartenders are very helpful with info about the myriad of beer choices - they know there products. The food is delicious. Since my wife can't eat shellfish and we don't have it at home, I always have the mussels - a classic Belgium dish. As a change of pace on the second night I was there, I had their version of the Nicoise salad. Creative and tasty. The generous serving of smoked trout in the dish made me happy. FYI -it's not a salad bowl with tons of lettuce.
We always make sure to eat here every time we come to TO. Best fries ! And always accommodating food allergies .
Most of the time great service, except this last visit when the waitress was on a rush and rush us every step of the dinner!
This was a great restaurant for 2 adults and 2 teens. Great food for all and some interesting local and international beer choices.
Food was delish, had Belgian frites, El Diablo mussels and Pear cider... The staff was friendly and gave great recommendations on the beers to try. The only thing I wished was that we didn't have to wait an hour for our food... Otherwise, it was a fantastic dinner!
The fotos was way too salty!!! I had the steak frites and my friend the salmon... My other friend had the pork chop and it was blend...
Not only do they have a tremendous beer list, their menu is fantastic as well. The wild hog pizza was fantastic, however, some may find it a little too sweet. The Kobe beef tacos were sublime! The big winner of the night was the pulled pork and Gouda poutine. It is only available on their late night menu, and is possibly the best poutine I have ever had. I will definitely be back to try more dishes.
This was my second time at the beerbistro. The location gets quite busy during lunch, I suggest making a reservation if your party is more than two.
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. its always good but messy as well. Service was great, the waiters really welcome you in & take care of you.
Would definetly attend again.
We did not drink beer, so the specialty of the venue was lost on us. The food was enjoyable, but not spectacular. I ordered the buffalo cobb salad. Some of the items listed on the menu for the salad did not appear in the salad.
The noise level was low which was good for conversation; not sure if this was because the restaurant wasn't full.
The service was very good
The fries are outstanding, and one serving is enough for 3 people! They have an extensive beer list, but they don't neglect the non-beer drinkers as they also offer signature cocktails. The restaurant was busy, but the vibe was great and it was not too noisy. This is a great place to grab a bite and drinks with friends.
Great food and great beer selection. Strong value for the dollar. Can't really ask for more.
I came to this restaurant for dinner with my sister and mother before heading out to a musical. I'm usually not the biggest fan of muscles, but I heard good things, so I ordered the spicy thai (I believe it was) muscles. They were very delicious and fit for a foodie! I am converted...plus, the sourdough bread was amazing! Oh....and of course, delicious beer! My only complaint is that the waiter was pretty short with us, and was already half walking away when we asked for something....it was clear he was not very passionate about his job...although he was quick in getting what we asked for....could have been worse. Overall, good experience, but would have preferred a friendlier server.
Our server was excellent. She was new but worked really hard and was knowledgeable on the menu.
