Beer Street South, the larger second location in the family, opened in the heart of Prospect Heights in February 2020. Despite the adverse timing, Beer Street South has continued in its predecessor's footsteps by serving the best, most sought after beer produced in and around New York City, along with a full bar that emphasizes locally produced spirits, wine, cider, & even sake, all of which are offered on draft as well as traditional formats.
Named after a 1751 print by English artist William Hogarth to illustrate the merits of drinking beer over gin, Beer Street began in 2011 as a humble beer and tobacco shop tucked on a quiet street in Williamsburg, before converting to New York City's first locally focused beer bar known for its warm, attentive hospitality & thoughtfully curated, constantly rotating selection.

Had a great experience at Beer Street. We hosted a family party here and we were able to bring in catered food. The staff was super accommodating and even opened a little early to allow us to set up the catering! And amazing beer and wine selection! Highly recommend!
