The staff just seem like they had somewhere better to be. We had to flag someone down to order and had to wait ages for a member of staff to come over and take our order. Then they go and stick a 12% service charge on the bill which still confused as to what they did. They took an order delivered to the table and got an extra £10 tip for that. All the other times, I had to go to the bar and ask, even to get the bill.

Went 2 years ago, and it was good but not great, It's now much improved and i would say much better than Hub both in terms of food and service. Good gluten-free options but would be great to see more and good Vegan options as well. The GF bun was decent and did not turn to dust and the food was really nice. It would be better if single serve ketchups and mayo were not used, and refillable condiments existed as it's a lot of plastic waste.

The beer and burd is a lovley restaurant pub in fore street st ives .they have a very good beer selection .staff and very friendly and helpfull .we went for new years eve before yhe celebrations started.we had a nice christmas chicken burger .the bacon was little bit over done fir my likeing but otherwise very nice .my wife throughly enjoyed hers .

There happens to be someone's left over food at the bottom of my dip pot. The waiter told the manager who couldn't even be bothered to come and apologise. I couldn't eat anything else there after that. Service was slow, staff seemed uninterested and unorganised

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday. It was lovely. Staff were friendly and service was fast. The cocktails were scrummy and the food was amazing! So yummy. Would come here again and again and again!! Burgers were lush. And nacho cheese fries with pulled chicken was lush!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great evening as out celebrating sons birthday Waitress was friendly, good product knowledge and cheerful Didn’t wait too long for drinks, followed by food as fairly quiet evening Clean, modern and mainly open plan, although we sat in a booth Not accessible though as access from street level up several, fairly steep stairs If you can do it, you should, as food very yummy!

As always the food was great, and the atmosphere exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately, even though it was Friday night, we were asked for last orders at about 9.30, which seemed a bit early - but still one of the best places to go in St Ives.

We have been coming to the Beer and Bird for a few years now but sadly will not return due to the awful service. Staff seriously rude and made us feel that we were an inconvenience, no warm welcomes or thanks.

The Mac n’ cheese was absolutely tasteless. It was lacking in sauce and the top had been grilled so the pasta dried out. We complained and it was sent back and another was brought it. This was exactly the same so very disappointing.

Members of staff were pleasant. Difficult to get their attention when I'd received our food. Mine was a decidedly cold, wet burger but the fries were gorgeous. Sadly won't be back, but appreciated having the meal take-off the bill, thank you.

Food was as good as the time we came a couple of years ago, I do have an issue with the 10% service charge added without notice, it should be my decision to tip. Which would of been a no this time because my drink was ordered without ice and came with ice, we had to ask to have the other 3 drinks replaced because they were substandard and the extra coleslaw was forgotten and had to be requested again. Not great on a night that wasn't even busy.
