Excellent all the way around.
Everything was wonderful - only complaint is that hosts were rather brusque when we first walked in--we didn't really get the welcome we would expect at a place like the Beehive. But the jazz trio was amazing, our server was great, the food was fantastic - a good experience all the way around.
Wonderful patio that is both open to the street for collecting all the feel of Tremont St. and secluded from passerby. Downstairs there was live music. The food was excellent and being Celiac (gluten allergy) they had a full menu to choose from and were very accommodating.
Good food - a little pretentious and overwhelmingly posh - fantastic atmosphere however. The high price I'm assuming covered the food and musical entertainment. Pretty good experience but one I wouldn't repeat anytime soon. 3/5 stars
Fantastic music, great food, lovely service. Great place to bring a date!
We sat outside on the patio. The food was delish! The service was prompt.
Waiter spilled a good amount of my wife’s drink and didn’t apologize or get another one. It was already a small drink to start with.
It's always nice to have live music when dining and that is what the Beehive does so well. The food and drinks are just ok. The location is great and convenient for dinner before a show. We go often before a show at the Calderwood , but after this time we will try other restaurants in the area.
The atmosphere here was great! Plus, the food was delicious. Those two combined made for an awesome brunch—we would definitely return
Great service, good live music, brunch menu options were limited and small portions
went there for our anniversary dinner,as we had our fist date there 8 years ago. The food has definitely gone down in quality. I get that it was busy but our food took over an hour to come out , and when we got it was very salty and I ended up getting sick.
I really hope they get it together as it was one of Boston's hidden gems.
Great to grab dinner and drinks before heading to the theatre. Our server, she was fabulous!
Music too loud for dinner conversation. Food fast but average quality or less. Cost not cheap. But very popular and many people were having a good time
I attend the Beehive Jazz Club venue every Sunday evening and have gotten to know many of the staff and management and they treat me like an old friend.Very cordial and helpful.
Four of us had a beautiful outdoor Sunday brunch sitting on the patio in front of the entrance. While we missed the live music (which we normally don’t care that much about anyway), the weather was perfect so we stayed outside. Great food, great service and excellent overall ambiance.
Ate outside. Food was good. Generous portions. Excellent service.
I took my husband here for his birthday meal and he LOVED it. The live band, decor, staff were all amazing - the food and drinks were delicious too. Definitely bringing friends here.
We went for the blues, first set was pop. Blues started in the second set, we were almost done eating. Burger was go, same for roast chicken. Eggplant was not very good. Wine list is pricey for the type of place
Great food, service and music! This restaurant has a funky atmosphere that is very welcoming!
Friends yearly dinner
Located in basement giving it a Greenwich village bohemian type vibe. Food good but standard. Music was excellent and gave whole meal a great way to start our trip to Boston. Service was fine but not overly attentive. Would definitely go back. Not the place for families or if you want a conversation. Parking a challenge!
Had a great time at beehive! Love the ambiance and food!
Great time with my family. Beautiful ambiance with jazz music and great service
Love the place for brunch, great food and drinks! Love the fact that they have an outdoor dining area now.
Staff was very nice and accommodating. The chicken was very good.
Great ambiance, friendly and attentive staff. Food was underwhelming which lowered the overall value. Would come again for the ambiance to spend a nice evening chatting with friends, but not for the food.
While planning a 1 month solo trip through America I wanted somewhere to have dinner around Boston. Beehive was that place. All the staff are awesome and the food was great , I had the egg plant starter and the vegan grain bowl. Good times and it all went well with the fancy mock-tails
The outdoor seating was very nice and it was easy to hold a conversation despite being close to Tremont Street. The choices of entrees were creative and well prepared. Service was very good. Sweet desserts were a nice way to end the meal.
good atmosphere ,good food and very good music
Workers very nice ...awsome place for a date!
This is one of my favorite places in the city. Consistently wonderful food and great service!
Eggs over cooked - service skow
Came for the Jazz Brunch...service and music was very nice...food was cold and the Benedict had very little Hollandaise so was dry
Went in for brunch. Amazing time will definitely be back!
Wonderful Sunday brunch location with great food and good music. Brought out of town visitors who loved the cool vibe of the restaurant and creative and very good meal selections.
Great music, atmosphere and service. Food was pretty good.
Must do in Boston!
We went here after a show at the Opera House. I brought my daughters 10 & 12. The food and service was amazing! Everyone loved their food. Eggplant parm, the cheeseburger, and the fries are amazing! My kiddos had pasta and grilled cheese (gobbled it all up), from the “hidden” kids’ menu *lol*! We shared butterscotch pudding and chocolate mousse for dessert! I would definitely return!
Food was DELICIOUS! We had the Atlantic salmon and the skirt steak and everything was cooked perfectly - super soft and flavorful. The salads themselves hold flavor rather than simply throwing some lettuce leaves or greens on the side with a tomato on top. They add flavors like mint and zesty lemon to a cucumber salad or have great greens like Swiss chard. Wine selection they offer by the glass isn’t anything special. We went on a Friday night so obviously there are people going for drinks but the ambience and lighting and the bands they have perform make everyone else but your experience irrelevant :)
Wonderful night out!
Seated at first row, close to the stage, great music and high quality cuisine, good wine, all for 50$ pp, what else can you ask for?
