Everything was exceptionally great. Service from all members was considerate, helpful, and simply a joy. The food arrived much quicker than we thought and the drinks were delicious. The has band was playing which made the nose level energetic but otherwise it was easy to hold a conversation with moderate noise.
The service was excellent and we went during a very quiet time which was nice. The ambiance is really nice for a date or special occasion. Only thing is that the food was overpriced, it is elevated bar food which is really delicious but was still too much money for what they offer. The cocktails were so good though- they were dangerous!
A fabulous way to celebrate my birthday especially with Michael at the bar.
The staff is amazing & be it as it may have the menu doesn’t attract Vegans, the effort for accommodations is a plus.
The live music is grade A & as the Brad Goff band was extremely entertaining especially the Violinist.
I’ll visit the Beehive each time I return to Boston.
Great ambiance. Great food. The band was excellent. Service felt a little rushed.
Enjoyed a great meal here. The staff is great too. I love that they have live music here, too. An overall wonderful experience
Boston finisher party and dinner afterwards. The food, staff, and ambiance were perfect!
While the food tasted fine, it was far over priced. A small mimosa was more than $11.00, a piece of bread was $13.00, and etc. The atmosphere was neat, but the woman who seated us was extremely snooty. It was a fine experience, but I would be aware their selection is limited, drinks are expensive and attitudes are poor.
First time. Early reservation. Just had main courses. All very good. Very nice server. Great jazz trio playing, volume just right.
Great. Nick was amazing
Great meal! Service is incredibly friendly and thoughtful.
The music was INCREDIBLE. Sat right in front of the stage and the band was killing it!
Amazing all around!
Good food, great service and fun vibe. Enjoyed our stay and server Dom was great!
such a great ambiance! I went on saturday for a late brunch with a few friends post workout. we thought we'd be under dressed but the crowd was pretty casual and we fit right in. the food was amazing and we loved the live jazz performers!
Poached eggs on salmon was delicious.
I personally wasn’t a huge fan of the shakshouka (the veggies are puréed and not sliced so it’s more of a spread)
The music and atmosphere was what made it really special. Beautiful architecture and detail (even the bathroom was beautiful)... so much attention to detail.
If you reserve online, be sure to either call or add a note about having a table close to the band because it really makes all the difference
The service was fabulous and the cocktails were delicious. Oh, and of course the food was great too - I’ll definitely be back!
Fantastic ambiance, service was excellent. The burger and fries were so delicious!! Can’t wait to go back!
Atmosphere was great. The band was a lot of fun.
Food was ok. More vegetarian options would’ve been nice. I ordered the “curry” ...but it was very flavorless. It was more like a veggie stew with naan. My partner ordered the chicken. He said it was very moist but again, under seasoned.
Menu and food options built a very misleading and cost saving way. Eggs Benedict came with a terrible hollandaise sauce, cold, most likely pre-cooked ahead of time. Smoked Salmon appetiser was really a smoked salmon cream cheese jar, Brussels sprouts salad barely had any Brussels sprouts in it. We understood that for the $54 pre-fixe price we are most probably paying for the live jazz music, but the band played so very softly that the place had no atmosphere and we thought it was a recorded background music the entire time. When I asked why are speakers turned so low, I was told that’s the way they want it and it is what it is. Best part of our brunch was the bartender Larry. Sadly we heard so much about Beehive, but will never return.
Food and service was good. Jazz music was fantastic. We were there for Easter brunch and it was considerably over priced for what you received. Three course meal should have included dessert or some Easter treat.
We had a great evening here. Food good, Oyster starter was particularly tasty. The band made the night though. Superb!
Really top notch.
The reggae band was amazing, perfect environment!
Amazing, interesting food of the world
Friends visiting from out of town. Cheyenne made our evening so much fun.
Our waiter asked if this was our first time (we said yes). We ordered the baby back ribs app and skirt steak dinner. The food was tremendous...the service was not. Our waiter was rarely around. Our glasses remained empty for some time, even after food came. We had to flag someone else down for refills. Very slow service.
Best poutine ever... and I'm Canadian.
Fun & delish
We enjoyed dinner and Blues on our last night in Boston. This is a lively place with a sophisticated yet youthful vibe. We brought up the average age but we didn't feel out of place. Great music and food and interesting wine list. The Anne Amie Pinot was a perfect addition.
LOVED the entire experience! The wait staff, live music, and food! A must visit!
The food was great. The lamb and the duck were excellent. There were six of us and everyone ranted and raved about the quality of their meal. The live band was just icing on the cake.
This Beehive was outstanding. Great recommendations!
Bad. After doing my reservartion in open table they didnt book my table downstairs, and instead upstairs where is no music
Great service! The food was delicious! Have brunch with live jazz was awesome!
What an amazingly unique place with fantastic jazz brunch and great food
We went for Jazz brunch on Saturday. The hostess, servers and chef were accommodating, pleasant and helpful. The beehive grapefruit mimosa was delicious. We each had a different meal-shashushka, waffles, poached eggs and duck, and salad with pomegranate and feta. All excellent dishes, fresh and plentiful. The ambiance is outstanding. Live jazz music sets the mood, and it is soft enough to have a conversation with your table mates but loud enough to appreciate. Highly recommend
This was a very energetic dinner club with a phenomenal live band. I enjoyed my time at the restaurant.
Great food, drinks, and atmosphere! Would definitely go back.
Beehive is one cool joint!!!
Great space in an iconic Boston building. Warm, vibrant and hip atmosphere with great folks running it. The upstairs bar is cozy and welcoming and downstairs the sound of live jazz draws you in. Stage seating feels a like little speak Easy where drinks and sounds are the plan. Main dining room is big and open but still comfortable and intimate. The main bar is always packed and for good reason. The cocktails are on point!! The Goodie Bag is my new poison of choice!!!
The menu is eclectic and includes good old standards as well as infusing Mediterranean, Asian and Indian flavors.
The deviled eggs were delish, skirt steak was cooked perfectly, the ribs were truly wonderful and the Schmaltz Fried Rice was yummmmm!
Their signature bread pudding was a decadent end to the evening. :)
The live jazz was great and although it’s right there (plus all the people) it didn’t feel excessively loud. Easy to talk at the table and interact with the very accommodating wait staff and management.
South end is tough for parking so give yourself time to find a spot or you will be late for your rezee. These are suggested most nights just cuz it’s a popular place!
Fun and different for a night out with just 2 or a big group.
What a great dining experience. The service was friendly and quick. The food is very good. The band didn't play too loud. I was able to talk during my date. I highly recommend for a fun night out.
Everything was good except they put us at a table touching the stage and the band members talked about us saying we were talking which is odd to say because we had a dinner party reservation for 7, we were not attending a concert? We were there to eat dinner, socialize and listen to jazz.
