Jazz brunch was a lot of fun. Drinks are a bit expensive for what they are... I recommend a carafe of wine if you want the best bang for your buck.
Everything was great as usual except that music was very loud in the dining area. I strongly believe restaurant should invest in better sound system, it was almost painful to listen.
Great vibe at this place - a lot of fun and very good food
Incredibly kind staff, great food and drinks, lovely upbeat party ambiance with plenty of cozy corners for long drinking brunches with their trademark incredible music!
This is one of our favorite spots in Boston. Great drinks, food and music. We go ever time we’re in the city!
Pros: The food is very good and the preparation times short.
Cons: Limited menu. Quite highly priced drinks with surprisingly low pours.
Love coming here for the delicious shakshuka with lamb!! Service is also spot on!
Delicious food!!! We had 2 Hors d'Oeuvres (photos below) which were in very big portions and 4 of us each had 4 different main dishes plus 2 carafes of red wine. Grilled brisket was to die for! Service was good, waiters were attentive. They also have live music after 10 pm on certain nights but we did not stay that long. It was a bit expensive, 75$ per person (tips included) but it was worth it. I came to Boston from NYC and it was a very cold night so it was indoor dining. Not sure if they have outdoor seating during summer.
The only downside was that they did not ask for vaccination status.
I am visiting my daughter in Boston and We had our Thanksgiving dinner at the Beehive, honestly speaking I didn’t have great expectations but turn out to be a delicious meal. Only for this occasion the have a three course fixed menu. Everything was delicious, well prepared and perfectly seasoned. There was live music and a very casual and relaxed atmosphere.
The Beehive is definitely a vibrant and fun place, but the food fell well short of the $80 per person charge. I’m hopeful it was just an off night, possibly due to staff shortages and the holiday.
Fun Thanksgiving! The vocalist was fabulous!! Traditional turkey dinner in an unusual place.
The food was just okay and definitely overpriced, the table shook the whole time and the menu was not accurate with items that were and were not gluten free. To pay a fixed price of $80 per person, I did expect a better dining experience on Thanksgiving.
We were there for Thanksgiving dinner. Everything was great except for the desserts.
I was disappointed when I was to be seated. My table was upstairs in the bar area and not downstairs where the entertainment was. I expressed my disappointment and was told that I could be seated downstairs if I waited another 30 minutes (which I did). When you book your dinner there is no way to note that you want to sit in the entertainment area. Also ... ran out of most desserts.
Excellent service, food was delicious and accommodating for Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving dinner was fabulous
We were extremely pleased, wonderful experience! Highly recommended.
The Beehive is my family's new favorite Thanksgiving spot! Great live music, great food with turkey and vegan options, and friendly staff.
Great food and music for Thanksgiving!
Had Thanksgiving dinner here with my niece and having Andrea as our waitress made the whole experience feel like a family affair.
Food and service was great. A bit crowded and the music wasn’t what I expected.
Great music and food but felt rushed as the servers would try to take plates before finished.
They have so many gluten free options it made ordering so easy! The food came out so quick and everyone should get the chocolate mousse it is literally incredible.
Such a fun place for brunch! Can’t wait to go back.
So cute, I loved the jazz brunch. The food was amazing, strongly recommend getting the coffee cake with honey butter to share!
The jazz brunch was amazing. Music was amazing, as was the food! Service was on point.
Went for brunch and I thought some of the prices were way too high for what you got but I understand it's a prime location so prices will be higher. Otherwise the food was really good and the mimosas were great. Love the decor and ambience
Fun and energetic
Could pass on the drinks
relaxing chill atmosphere.
Great food, great atmosphere, fantastic live music, great service
Food and vibes were impeccable. Music was great (jazz at brunch) and not too loud. Most of our party got the shakshuka and it was delicious. also highly recommend the coffee cake at brunch! The downstairs is kind of a basement but there is still some natural light which was pleasant and unexpected.
It’s too noisy!
Great date night! Meatballs were fantastic but lukewarm. Looking forward to returning!
Beehive was a pleasant surprise for after-matinee drinks and dinner. In addition to some great entrees the fries were amazing. A rare find! The atmosphere was fun and sociable enough to catch up with old friends despite the full house. We will recommend this place and try it again when we are in town.
We went for the jazz brunch on Saturday. Good sized crowd, great live jazz, food was excellent. We ordered the shakshuka, corned beef hash, egg frittata and French toast. French toast is baked which I liked but I think others at the table would have preferred the pan-fried version. The shakshuka was one of the better ones I’ve had, rich complex flavors with a really nice polenta accompaniment. If I was to knock anything, it would be the value on the Mimoza. But really just a rookie ordering mistake on my part.
Nice atmosphere and very good food!
Although the food was excellent the noise level was unacceptable, i.e., not conducive to conversation.
Really cool ambiance. Live jazz was getting going. Minimum one food item you have to order per person, which I did not know. Service was okay, but I know they are running around and have a lot of tables to cover. Great food and drinks!
