Fun vibe, great music and good. Service great too.
Our reservation was apparently during brunch/dinner switch over. Asked to wait outside and then greeted by a rude server while waiting just for sitting down. Once inside there was no mention of menu or scan code and was then asked what we will have only to then learn it’s only available on the website. Ok. That is when we realized Easter menu was limited to time and we missed it. Unhappy with regular menu. Ordered an appetizer and left.
Love the Beehive. Food was excellent and different. Everyone loved what they ordered - and we all ordered different items. Will definitely go back!
I ordered the lamb. I received lamb flavored cardboard discs. very disappointed.
I would have sent it back to the kitchen but we were under a 90 minute time cap.
Had Easter brunch set menu. Good portion of food and it was tasty. Excellent service staffs!
I've been wanting to visit Beehive and we finally made it for Easter brunch. $60/pp for a 2-course very limited menu (no beverages included), and just as we were seated they ran out of the dish 2 people in my party wanted. We were disappointed; the food was nothing special, and servings were small. Even the coffee was disappointing. Waitstaff was friendly but rushed and slightly forgetful. The ambiance is lovely - warm and funky. Best part was the jazz trio, and the music was part of the reason we wanted to go. I might recommend this place for a drink with a friend but not to dine.
Delicious! Very spacious inside.
I love the Beehive's energy and vibe. Having live music back was wonderful and really creates a mood that is energetic, but not too loud to interact and enjoy the company you are with.
Only complaint was that for the amount of food at the Sunday Brunch for Easter, the price was a little high. However, I will cut some slack on this as I know that every restaurant took quite a hit during COVID. I just wish they didn't seem to want to make it up all in one day.
Overall, love, love, love The Beehive!!!
We had brunch on Easter Sunday- it was delicious !! We will definitely be returning !!
The food was wonderful! Everything was absolutely delicious and I couldn’t love the server Marcus more - he was friendly, attentive and went above and beyond.
When I made the reservation for Easter I didn’t realize it was $60 per person. I was told when I confirmed my reservation, and accepted the cost. I just would never spend $60 per person on brunch ever again
We had Easter brunch and it was so nice to get out and hear live music! The musicians were very good, the food was delicious and the service helpful, but not in our face. I highly recommend!
This is a great spot for food, music and a cocktail!
This wasn’t the best experience. I heard so much about Beehive but did not live up to the hype. The food was pretty bland and didn’t have many options and for that kind of price range I just expected more.
The service was wildly inattentive, I was at a full table and it took us 25 min after we finished and asked for the check to actually get it and many of our orders were given wrong, late or with missing items.
This place may have been great when there was live music but I think there definitely needs to be more effort put in when it comes to food, service and management.
Music (piped in, not live) was too loud. Asked for it to be turned down so we could talk without shouting. Never happened. Food was great. Service was great.
Sat outside for the first time with a group of 5. Food was fantastic. Could have a little better ambiance besides just the tables in the square area. Will definitely come back.
Had a wonderful time with my best friend. Delicious food and drinks. Will visit again.
Wished there was standard benedict on the menu, would have liked to be seated below and not in the bar
Live music was great. Food and drinks were spot on. Service was excellent. Low key environment with nice looking decor.
Awesome food great atmosphere
Great vibe! Food was good, not great. Menu somewhat limited. Awesome music. Cool people. Would definitely come back. Worth a try!
Amazing place! Food and drinks were perfect. Waiter was very knowledgeable on all food related questions and his suggestions were perfect!
There was not a lot of food choices . They ran out of several items . The drinks were weak and over priced . The service was good . There was no live music
Very nice atmosphere... Food and Drink a little pricy however
Warm quinoa bowl was cold. Eggs Benedict were over cooked.
The enjoyable atmosphere was nice and a little funky. Situated in a beautiful old Boston building (Cyclorama). The food was incredibly good. Sort of Provence-like in the plate presentation with terrific flavors. The chicken and the scallop entrees were great along with the fried oysters appetizer. Great service from a friendly wait staff.
Overpriced and food was subpar.
Extremely tasty and fun vibe. Shakshuka was fantastic and loved seeing it on a menu. (Perhaps include a spoon to help ear it after toast is gone.). We had a great brunch.
Katie is one of the best bartenders & servers we have experienced.
Manager was walking around and kicking everyone out at conclusion. This part was very unpleasant and put a bad ending on what had been a great evening with great service. Find a more pleasant way to relay you’re closing!
Food was phenomenal. Bartender was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was awesome.
Overall, the value was not there. Food was ok but not worth the money. You’re better going to Barcelona next door and having a better experience all together.
This place is funky and cute, definitely bigger inside than seems outside. Covid separation was in effect but there seemed like a lot more people than i thought there would be. Staff was professional and prompt. Brunch menu could offer a few more options. We had coffee cake starter and frittata which was savory and fresh. I’d go again for the charming atmosphere.
Put in appetizer and drinks, then food when waitress came back with drinks. Food came out cold 5 minutes after we got our appetizer - meaning we spent over $100 and were there for less than 30 minutes.
When there are only 6 or 7 entree options, all expensive, and all sounding fancy, you expect good food. Instead I paid $38 for scallops that my fiancé could have cooked better at home. I understand that the place might be more about the atmosphere, which is very cool and fun (although I didn’t enjoy the disco light flashing in my eye every 30 seconds), that doesn’t mean you can’t serve good food at that price point.
Won’t be returning for dinner. Will consider going back for drinks when covid ends and live music/bar scene returns.
amazing! fun environment with great food. the service was amazing.
Steak was very salty and overdone for my taste....
Jeff was great and the food was good. Medium price level
Came for my Birthday after hearing such rave reviews about the Beehive Brunch...the food was ok... the service was ok...drinks were meh...enjoyed the appetizers more than our actual meal but left still kind of hungry
The food was great, the atmosphere was great. Everyone was friendly. The waiter was great.
Food quality was poor
