Delicious 1! Highly recommend.. Terri our server was fantastic !
Amazing food, service and ambiance! During our 8 day stay in Charlotte we dined here twice!
We go to Beef 'n Bottle multiple times every year. After poor service last time and so-so service before that, we decided we'd give it one last shot. We did so this past weekend and had an absolutely great time. Chip (who has been serving there for years) took incredible care of us - for now on, we're requesting him, so that we know we'll have a great time there.
Perfect as always!
The food was served like warm, the filet had tendons in this particular steak. They had a party that was obnoxious and drunk. Profanity yelled throughout the stay. The party was not Beef and Bottles fault but on my first visit I experienced it all. May try again because I bear good things about this restaurant.
Food and service were excellent! Ambiance was nice also.
Service was great and food was delicious. It was so noisy though it was difficult for us to hear each other and speak without yelling. Next time I’m going to see if they have a quiet corner we could be seated in. Overall a good experience and we will go back!
My husband and I went here for our anniversary for the first time after many recommendations from friends and family! We often visit Del Frisco’s so were hesitant to a new steakhouse. We were not disappointed at all! By far has outdone Del Frisco’s! The appetizer, soup, THE STEAK, and dessert were all superb. The steak was easily 100 times better than our last two times are DF’s! And it was also $100 cheaper!
Baker was our waitress and was honestly THE BEST waitress we’ve had in years, if not ever! I’m still talking about her to my husband!
In would 110% recommend this place to anyone who asks!
Not a great experience, came on 11/3 around 6pm. Had a reservation and was sat in the back of the restaurant behind a large birthday dinner, but worse to our left was a loud and obnoxious separate birthday group of 5. The group of 5 was clearly intoxicated and was still getting served alcohol. When the salad came out multiple people were dropping salad pieces due to low dexterity from being obliterated. Their volume was loud as they spoke frequently with profanity and vulgar topics during dinner. One patron from the group of 5 was sleeping by the time the entrees came out, and continued to sleep through most of the remaining time they were there. Again this was around 630 on a Sunday. When the group of 5 left the tables were cleaned off with 3 out of 5 full beverages of alcohol but the floor was still covered with salad. I’m not sure if the wait staff was only continuing to serve alcohol to earn a larger tip. Then a group of 3 sat to our right, the service was so delayed the gentleman went away to get the table water. Just before we were leaving the restaurant, a family of 3 was leaving, the father dressed in his Air Force uniform, as no one had waited on them after they were seated.
I have always wanted to try this CLT staple. We were celebrating a birthday this night . The service was very slow but our server was polite. It seems like he was very busy but we only saw him serving two tables. Our steak was average but I have had better at Capital Grille. Our sides arrived cold. You do get a lot of food for your money. We did have the best appetizer which was the Cajun crab dip. I would go back just to get several orders of that. The server did go above and beyond by bringing a desert out for the birthday celebration. Overall it is okay but I most likely won’t go back.
The food was so good I mean excellent good the server we had was awesome Thank You so much for a wonderful 34th Anniversary dinner.See you next year !!!
The filet mignon was perfect! I also enjoy the cheese and crackers before the meal. Our waiter was very attentive and we had excellent service
Great! But didn't love the onion rings
We have dined here many times. The Ribeye was great..the Lobster was not cooked properly and was stringy. Service was excellent. If you are looking for a value, this isn’t the place..but usually a great experience.
Always a great meal. It was my fiancé's first time there and he absolutely loved it.
Always a winner for special occasion or really anytime. We visited on Halloween and it was truly a "treat" to dine there. And there was NO "trick". The servers were in costumes...ie ...our server was Gum Ball Girl (GBG) and was exceptional. Food was great as always.
The place is dripping with character. Excellent food and the service was perfect. Apps, salads and entree’s brought with perfect timing. Definitely a must for any special occasion.
We absolutely love Beef and Bottle! Our favorite server is Terry. She is very personable, attentive and most helpful with the menu. Steaks and seafood are always delicious! I would highly recommend B&B to everyone!
This place is riding solely on their history and reputation. I did not find the atmosphere, food, or service worth the big check. We waited forever to get our order finally placed and were starving by the time our food came. You get a basket of crackers (not bread) and we went through those out of desperation. The salads come deconstructed with family style toppings. Just a lazy presentation in my opinion. My filet was adequate but a bit over done and I’ve had better shrimp scampi at Red Lobster. My dad ordered a ribeye well done and it was mostly inedible shoe leather that couldn’t even be cut with a steak knife. We told them in advance that it was my husband’s birthday and that was never acknowledged. It was dark, noisy and run down with uncomfortable seating. Maybe if the Rat Pack or old movie stars were actually hanging around it would be cool. I won’t be returning.
Best steaks in the region Been coming here for several years and it’s consistently good.
Beef n Bottle is consistently a top 3 Steak restaurant in Charlotte. It’s my go too and personal favorite based on the food quality, service, atmosphere and convenience. Prices are good too. Can’t go wrong with the ribeye or filet.
This was our first time eating here and WOW. Everything was delicious, the service was fantastic, and it made for a perfect anniversary spot. We will definitely be back!
I never I just appointment! Fantastic food and service!
Outstanding outstanding outstanding outstanding outstanding outstanding outstanding outstanding outstanding
Retro fabulousness. Starting with the scoop of cheese spread accompanied by basket of crackers, I was transported back to the 80’s. All of my favorites done perfectly. Can’t wait to go back.
Staff was great, food was amazing and fresh. Can’t wait to go back. Good selection of wine. Ask for a booth -
Great food. Need new building.
We came here for our “one week” anniversary. We just got married last week out of town and we hadn’t been here yet (down the street from our house) so we felt like our wedding day was a good reason to splurge. Our server was Baker. She was awesome. Mike got the lobster/filet combo cooked Med well. I got the king crab leg/filet combo cooked Med well. Med well is medium here and my filet was the perfect shade of pink- it was all so fantastic. The steak melts in your mouth and was unbelievable. The crab legs and the lobster were to die for. You know when you go somewhere expensive and you’re like “yeah it’s not going to be worth it.” Yeah no- this isn’t that place. It’s so worth it. Ambiance is a little off... There were TVs in the back room where we sat. It didn’t get loud though (thank God) because college football was on. Looks like a small hole in the wall from the outside but the inside is very big and is like a time machine to the 50s or 60s. Reminded me of my old school Italian grandmas house. But the food and service is incredible and that’s all that matters.
Won’t be back. Overpriced. Not worth the hype. Not worth the cost.
Great service and good food at a good value (relative to other steakhouses)
Very old school, very cozy but loud on a Friday night. Friendly, professional service. Steaks were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Make your own salad that comes with meals is great. We ordered the smallest cuts on the menu and with the cheese spread and crackers, salad and side that came with the stakes, we were stuffed. Anyone ordering appetizers and/or larger cuts are either wasting food or taking some home. Smaller, but sufficient wine list with reasonable markups.
Great as always
Real old school steakhouse. Great French Onion Soup. My husband really enjoyed his ribeye. Very enjoyable evening.
Steak was cooked poorly. Quality was not as good as I have had before.
Excellent food and service. This has become one of my favorite places to eat......anywhere.
Compared to other steakhouses I have been to for a 50 dollar steak I expected it to be cooked properly!!! My steak was way too underdone and way too overpriced for the value! Unfortunately we will not be going back here.
Great old school steak house. One of the few old Charlotte institutions.
Love this for my business trip and can’t wait to take my wife there.
Always great food and service! My favorite restaurant in Charlotte.
Older yet elegant steakhouse located in Charlotte with superb service and steaks on par with any Manhattan steakhouse. I would highly recommend a visit.
