Bedford on Park
A strong focus has been allocated to the craft beer and wine programs. A wide selection of local breweries, ranging in variety and also including some West Coast crafts and familiar European benchmarks, have been selected to offer great products at very reasonable prices. An extensive wine list permits guests to choose from the lightest to boldest wines from around the world, ensuring something for every palate or preference.
Good food, albeit portions are a bit small for the price. Apps could use a couple veggie-options; it is a rather meat-heavy section that makes it harder to share. Servers a bit over-eager, particularly considering that the restaurant was rather empty, but otherwise good meal overall.
Best experience in a long while!
Extremely attentive service!
Food hot and fresh
Delicious hot cookie dessert!
Back again and again!
From the menu to the bread offered when seated, it was clear that this place was top quality. The creative use of the available kosher ingredients, this kitchen absolutely delivered. Everything we ordered was perfectly executed from the lamb bacon to the chicken lollipops to start things off. Our main courses were simply amazing. I still can’t get over the quality of their flagship steak, their Top Cap. This was the most unique cut of meat I think I’ve ever had and will be craving it for weeks.
Must check this place out!
Food was delicious and service was impeccable. Highly recommend
Nice Kosher restaurant in the heart of Murray Hill, behind Mendy's deli. Upscale decor, good service and good lunch fare (we didn't try the steaks, etc.).
Meat was very average. Wasn’t worth the high price.
Service was mediocre.
Only reason to go there is that the place is kosher
First time visiting BoP, food was outstanding, IMHO every dish was delectable and prepared just right, service very good, and nice quiet atmosphere which I understand not everyone enjoys but personally prefer speaking with company and not having to shout. Overall 5 stars, hope to return soon.
The food was too salty and the steak was not what the way we asked for although it was very nice we had the whole restaurant for ourselves during peak lunch time.
Ambiance is pretty poor. All online pics you see of the cute location are not this location. The food was good but waiter was rude and slow.
The servers were very nice and accommodating and the ambiance was elegant and quiet yet very comfortable. The food was very good and elegant!
Fantastic quality food, really enjoyed the steak and the lamb bacon was very interesting! Best kosher restaraunt I've ever been to hands down.
Everything was wonderful. Service could have been more attentive but food was excellent
The food was an amazing surprise... The appetizing were all terrific and happily unexpected - not your everyday appetizers. The main dishes were so so good and generous portions. I couldnt have been more satisfied and delighted with our dinner. Service was attentive. Cant wait to go back.
The food is not good at all. The smoked chicken salad was so smoky, I felt as if I smoked a cigarette.
The main dishes were unsavory. My center rib eye tasted old and reheated. The other two dishes were also terrible. None of us finished it. The only really good item was the side dish of broccolini which by the way was $13. They give no side dishes along with the main. Not even one!!!
Very limited menu.
The over all decor is alright. However the temperature was too warm and uncomfortable, the food was mediocre at best and way overpriced for what you get.
If you’re looking for a nice restaurant, look elsewhere.
I had a reservation for 9 PM, for me and 3 of my guests for a business meal.
I'm the only one keeping Kosher, but since I've been to this restaurant before I knew it should be good enough also for the non kosher palate.
unfortunately, when we arrived I saw they are stating to close the place. they told me they had a "slow" evening so they close early. they didn't notify me before or apologize.
I would never go there again.
what a shame
The food at Bedford was amazing! I got the spare ribs and my husband got the cowboy steak. It was the best steak we have ever had. Cooked to perfection. For starters we got the chicken lollipops which were also spiced perfectly wth the absolute best sauce to dip. We also got red wine and mojitos which were superb. All around amazing experience. Can't wait to go back.
Great food. Very Dark. Unnecessary to eat in the dark. Could barely see the waiter's face. When they turned the lights down and I asked, I was told, "Oh, its dinner time so we need to keep the lights down." Its a shame that we could not really see the great food.
The service was excellent and very attentive. They remembered us from our last visit and made us feel very special. The Steak was excellent especially with the Steak Sauce. I normally am not a fan of Steak Sauces but I was told you have to try it with the Steak and it was fantastic. I would put there Steak up against any Kosher Resturant in the city
I had a reservation and the table was ready on time. People working there were very polite and courteous. We did not have to wait long for our food. And most importantly- the food was absolutely delicious!!! I highly recommend this restaurant.
Salads, steak very good
Fish not so
Service awful--waitress was sweet but unsure and slow
4/2/18 All around great. Best kale Caesar. Delicious steak and creme brûlée. Great service.
Great experience. Relaxed and elegant atmosphere. The steak was cooked perfectly and the service was professional and pleasant.
Food was different. Not your typical steakhouse. Wait staff was attentive and excellent. A bit pricey but excellent
Our dinner for 2 included a Caeser salad that was extremely salty & unimaginative and a lamb appetizer that was enjoyable. We ordered 2 medium ribsteaks, one on the bone (terrible salty and overcooked) and the other off the bone which was okay. The mousse dessert was tasty. This restaurant was a huge disappointment and should not be rated as an upscale restaurant -- except for its prices.
Outstanding steak, great chicken liver pate, service was attentive, and price was not cheap, but not over the top either.
They have organic free range meat. The chef is fantastic. The place looks great.
It's our go to p[lace for great dining.
I found this place on the open table “new and hot” section. What a disappointment! Food was good but place was anything besides “hot”.
Our waiter was nice but didn’t know what he was doing... we order a Pinot Noir 2013 but we were served a 2014 - this is a restaurant that brags about their wine selection / list. There was no somalier at the restaurant! We also asked about the dishes and specifically about the whole Branzino - if it was shareable - which our waiter said no, without considering the appetizers we ordered and the side dishes that we were ordering. The place looked like it was under construction with a huge empty area and chairs piled on the corner. I was looking for a place to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and I made a note on my open table reservation (birthday). No one approached us to ask about what we were celebrating - probably they didn’t read open table notes. Disappointed with open table for ranking this place as a “new and hot” and very disappointed with the place per se... won’t see me again
It's my fifth time at Bedford -- I've been there for personal and for business -- and each experience has been perfect. We even enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner there, and I would do it again.
Steak was absolutely delicious! Steak was absolutely delicious!
Great food! Loved the top cut steak and the drink selection was ample and diverse. We ordered the maple lamb bacon starter and could not get enough! Service was attentive and helpful too.
Very good but expensive.
It was very disappointing to walk 16 blocks, looking forward to a nice dinner, and have signs on the door that stated that the restaurant was closed for the holidays. I am glad they are having good times with family and friends, but why except our reservations. Thankfully, through Open Table, we were able to find a great place close by.
A very bad oversight!!
Excellent food and service. Awesome appetizers and good steaks
We had a wonderful experience at Bedford on park last night. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. We ordered three appetizers which were all fantastic ( definitely try the lollipop chicken!!) The steaks were nice sized and cooked exactly the way we ordered, and the sangria was one of the best I have had, and I know my sangria! The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Overall we had a great time. We will definitely be back.
Bad service at expensive kosher restaurants is a major pet peeve so the incredible service at Bedford was a very pleasant surprise. The menu is a bit limited but every single dish that we ordered was phenomenal-brisket sliders, lamb bacon, truffle fries, bread, 14 oz steaks (incredibly tender and delicious) and desert. I would definitely go back although would recommend that they add some more options especially among the appetizers.
Excellent choice for kosher dining when cost is not an issue.
This is truly one of the most special restaurants in the city right now. Beautiful space, attentive service, and outstanding food that is creative, lovingly prepared, and tastes fantastic.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for a Kosher restaurant that exceeds its potential is sure to impress...
Excellent food amazing cocktails everything cooked to perfection
The Steak was mouth watering. Soft and tender and perfectly cooked. The lamb bacon app was the perfect starter and the Sangria was the perfect cocktail to accompany it all. Nicely Done!
