   We called to say we would be 8-10 minutes late and even though you were open, no one answered the phone. Called and left a message; call not returned. Disappointing the level of service in the front of the house.

   The server was not well informed concerning the dishes. Her attitude was quite testy. We ordered a mixture of raw oysters which were quite good. The beet salad was lovely. However all 4 of our entrees were flavorless and the sides accompanying the dishes very plain and bland as well. For the price of these entrees I was shocked at the quality. We talked to several other dinners and they too wished they had chosen a different restaurant to dine at.

    Our dinner was terrific, as deceived from all 4 of us.we had the bowl, mussels, oysters, salads, and more- all delicious. We had Desserts and Vicky Al’s and we left happy. Sarah took great care of us.

    Becks has become our favorite place to enjoy a nice dinner. We love sitting at the oyster bar with Pat, Tripp, and Grady. All of the servers are fantastic and the food is delicious.

    We eat here every week sometimes 2 x a week which was the case this week. Great food, employees and service. John has a well oiled machine right there on King’s Way!!! If you haven’t had the shrimp burger, get it you won’t be disappointed!!

    We were there to celebrate my husband birthday and as always you did not let us down!!! A young man name Joe was our waiter and he was wonderful!!! Had everything correct which is not easy when you have 8 people ordering. We All appreciate him and there was always a smile on his face !! We will be back and hopefully he’ll be our waiter!!     We enjoyed this restaurant after Sunday at the Masters. We were a little surprised that it wasn't more crowded but it was definitely worth visiting. The chili shrimp is flavorful. We order a bottle of Crossbarn Pinot Noir and liked it. The 8 oz. filet was prepared to perfection and the grouper was very good. Our server Kim really knew her stuff about food and wine.     It’s been a minute since I’ve dined here due to medical issues but it remains one of my favorite places. The food tonight was absolutely delicious. The mussels in the garlic cream sauce was amazing! I ate every single mussel! My salmon, cheese grits and collards was a hit as usual. The service was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed my night out with my daughter.

    This was our third visit to Beck's in Augusta, but this time we took our house guests and friends from Maryland to enjoy some Southern seafood since they are so accustomed the theirs coming from the Chesapeake Bay. Needless to say, they were more than favorably impressed and certainly learned that us Southerners do have a knack for how toy properly season and fry things! Both the food and the service (Rose :-) ) were outstanding! Thank you Rose for making a very pleasant evening!

    Need to beef up staff to plan for the listening room. Heard customers getting upset due to delays and servers had to explain the reasoning. Also staff was all having to move extremely fast. Seemed like everyone was rushing and hustling.
