About Beckett's Table
Chef Justin Beckett brings together what matters to him most: family, friends and honest, incredible food. With considerable help from his partners and longtime friends Scott and Katie Stephens and his wife Michelle, Beckett has created an irresistible hangout for his discerning Arcadia/Biltmore neighbors, people who expect comfort and sophistication in equal measure and get it here.
The same grounded approach is evident on the menu, which emphasizes Seasonal American Cooking in dishes such as Creamy Grits and Spicy Andouille Sausage with mustard jus, Pork Osso Buco Confit with spinach pancetta spaetzle , or Fork Tender Short Ribs with creamy mashed potatoes, sautéed veggies, red wine reduction.
Factor in the inviting bar, roomy patio and community table, and it gets even easier to follow the Beckett's Table mandate: Come Together.

Beckett's Table Ratings and Reviews
The food was awesome, me and my husband went for Valentines. He had the burger, and i had the short ribs- the burger was good, but the short ribs were awesome! Also, not on the menu but the fries are awesome- just ask your waitress/waiter for them. The only downside was that we sat at a 2-seater table on the back wall. Those specific tables are way too close together and the couple next to us were loud and obnoxious. We were basically all sitting at the same table. If you go ask to be seated at a 4 seater table.
Phoenix is overrun with restaurants, so much so it sometimes seems like there is one per capita. Beckett's Table is our absolute favorite. There is no warmer and more welcoming manager than Sari. The waitstaff is very good: competent without being cloying, very good at describing the food and recommending wines from what is an excellent list. Food fabulous. Best brussels sprouts. Great entrees - the short ribs are to die for, the scallops amazing, the green chile pork stew great comfort food. The tomato soup and cheese sandwich with pancetta appetizer is so good I sometimes drop by for that alone and an IPA and call it dinner. Prices are not cheap, but not so expensive that this cannot be your favorite neighborhood restaurant.
We had out of town company and wanted really good food and some live music. The food was great, with some really creative dishes. Fresh food for all tastes. I had the Duck Confit with Poached Pear first. It was above and beyond my expectations and the description, with tender, shredded duck, pear, smoked cashew pickled grapes, parsnip purée and small dollop of duck fat mousse. Other apps were very good also. For the mains, I had Seared Organic Scottish Salmon, prepared perfectly and arranged with ginger coconut cream, saffron rice with carrot, spinach and peas. Delicious! My companions had Beckett’s Table Signature Fork Tender Short Ribs with creamy mashed potatoes, sautéed veggies, and red onion demi-glacé. Tender was exactly what it was, and very tasty. Another in our group had the Steamed Atlantic Cod - chef’s special preparation was an understatement. It was presented with steamed, sliced zucchini decoratively placed on top, with greens and other veggies. After such wonderful dinners, we might normally be too full for dessert, but the menu was so tempting, we had to taste a couple of them. The Award Winning Fig & Pecan Pie with Beckett’s original citrus zest cream cheese ice cream was the absolute best and will be remembered forever. Wonderful flavors, superb crumb crust. Very tasty and creative, not pretentious, friendly and welcoming. We will return soon. Wine list and other beverages were also very good.
The music that evening (Sunday) was provided by James Cowden, very nice acoustic guitar with good selection of music. We will love to see him again also.
The night started by trying to put us at the worse table in the restaurant despite reservations and only being 20% full. After we ordered our food came out in less than 5 minutes. I didn’t know we were at a fast food restaurant. The order wasn’t correct and the plate was burning hot.
I loved the wine selection and ambiance of the restaurant, but sadly our server was rude and didn’t seem like he cared about our experience whatsoever. Being in the service industry I try to be understanding but his rudeness and apathetic attitude were disappointing especially since it was our first time. My short rib dish was super salty but my date’s burger was delicious.
1st timers, really liked the place, our waitress was very enjoyable, she split our salad for us, the entrees were terrific, scallops and short ribs - yum - and then there were quirky little things, like a half a deviled egg for 2 bucks, gone before I got a taste, and for dessert the tiniest little slice of pecan pie with a bit more than a tablespoon of ice cream. A great place to bring your parents, quiet and comfortable.
Overpriced. It was fine, but not great. The prices would indicate more creative and tasty dishes. The 'signature' short ribs were slightly dry and mashed potatoes bland. Gravy was good, but not enough of it. The salmon was a very small portion. More vegetables than salmon.
We discovered this restaurant on Lonely Planet's Phoenix restaurant guide. We live in Chandler, but it was well worth the drive. The menu was simple, but offered ample choices. We tried the shrimp and grits and the pork steak. They were delicious. The service was fantastic as were the pre-dinner cocktails.
Working my way throught the Beckets menu. Went with Oso Buco this time and was not disappointed. Food is always consistently exceptional. Flavor blends are very unique and each dish has its own distinct attraction.
Only 4 entrees left to try , can't wait to get to them.
We went to Beckett's Table after reading so many great reviews. We started with the tomato soup and mixed green salad - both were fantastic! I had the scallops and my husband had the short ribs - we recommend both! Delicious. Great service, an excellent wine/cocktail menu. We will be back!
Our waiter was phenomenal. We were celebrating our one year wedding anniversary and he was there filling our waters and making sure we were taken care of while also leaving us alone enough to where we enjoyed our time with each other. Loved the atmosphere and our drinks were amazing as well.
Always a pleasure to dine at Beckett's Table. We were staying at a nearby Hotel and decoded to go for dinner since they were launching live music on Sunday evening. This was a welcome feature for our dining experience. The food was very good but not outstanding. They mix in some odd veggies that are hard to identify!
I had the scallops and my girlfriend had the short ribs and they were both simply off the charts. Then we couldn't leave without sharing the apple cobbler and it was off the hook. The staff was so great and their timing on being attentive as amazing!
We were there on on the first night of their Sundays Unplugged music series and it was fantastic!!
Magical experience! Live acoustic music on Sundays lured me in, and it was a good call, as everything about the experience was first-rate. Attentive yet unobtrusive service, startling delicious pork osso buco, and the fig-pecan pie that should be legendary, plus Arizona wines and good local music — a perfect evening!
We had dinner on a Sunday night, all bottles of Arizona wine are 50% off! We had a nice sangiovese blend from Cadeuceus Cellars to go with our meal; our server did a great job answering our questions regarding the wine choices . We started off with the Noble Bread appetizer, which had burrata slathered on the bread and then covered with roasted mushrooms; the mushrooms were absolutely delicious! My companion ordered the salmon for her entree and it was cooked medium rare; wonderful. I ordered the scallops. In past visits here I have not ordered this entree as I tried it once and found the scallops quite over-salted. This time there was just enough salt to flavor the scallops and they were delicious! We split the flour-less chocolate cake for dessert, a great way to cap off the meal. Beckett's Table is only about 1 mile from our house and it is a great neighborhood restaurant. Many of the menu items can be made vegetarian or vegan, if you prefer that option.
