Becketts is a distinctively unique venue housed inside 2 beautiful Grade II listed buildings. The owners are award-winning developers who took more than 2 years to meticulously bring back to life these most delicate, 200 year old townhouses.

The finished result is something very special, featuring 4 floors of hand made wood designs, a pioneering kitchen, several dining areas, 2 bars, a private dining room and 6 boutique bedrooms that have won the accolade of “Best Boutique Hotel” in Portsmouth.

Our Head Chef Jack has an inquisitive obsession for food, his biggest influence to date being his time working at Noma, voted 2nd best restaurant in the world in 2019 and currently holding 2 Michelin stars. He is passionate about local and wild ingredients, leading his 10-strong team into foraging to connect with the seasonality of food.

The Bellevue room is an exclusive and private dining space, seating up to 6 people. Ideal for a small gathering, be it bespoke dining, a company soiree or an intimate wedding reception. The designer-owners have put together this charming space, away from the bustle of the bar, to create a unique experience for our guests. With our chef’s exciting menu, complimented by a carefully selected wine list and your own dedicated waiters, the Bellevue Room is the ultimate way to celebrate your special day. Pre-ordering of food is required, pre-ordering of wines and champagnes is recommended. Bookings on Sunday-Thursday in the Bellevue room incur a £60 room hire, on Fridays and Saturdays the Bellevue room incurs a £120 room hire charge.
