Anniversary. This place is always the best value for quality in Manhattan. Especially the wine list and pasta!

Great pasta trio dinner. Nice Sangiovese wine and a picture with Joe. Is there anything better.

Incredible food and service - we had a fabulous table in the front upstairs alcove; quiet and private. Thank you!

Everything was great. From cocktails before dinner to service and food. A little tight with not much space between tables on both sides of us.

It is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. I've been wating there for over 20 years. The food is always amazing. The service is top notch even accommodating a vegetarian for the price fixe 3 pasta deal in my group the last time. The main reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it seems to get more crowded with every visit and is extremely noisy. I wish they would remove a few of the tables they've crammed into the top floor and install some noise reduction tech.

Unfortunately this visit to Becco was disappointing. Both entrees were so salty that we could barely finish our food. Such a disappointment as I have eaten here many times and enjoyed my meal.

It was an OK Italian restaurant. We came based on reviews and I was a little disappointed. The service was the best part. They have crammed tables into every spare inch of space, so having privacy in your conversation was non-existent where we were seated. It was out in a balcony-like area upstairs. They had 4 tables in there when there should have been 3 max.

The food wasn’t remarkable. I had the 3 pasta special. The pesto and green beans was -meh! Green beans had NO seasoning, pesto sauce was good. The penne and shrimp was good, the mushroom-stuffed ravioli was ok.

Bottom line, for the money, I wouldn’t recommend it.

My boyfriend and I came to Becco’s for our seven year anniversary and had a wonderful experience! I’d been once before with my family (2006), and that previous positive experience stayed with me for all these years. I’m happy to write that it’s still as warm, welcoming and delicious as I remember!

We both ordered the “pasta symphony,” which are three daily pasta preparations, and they were delicious! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, and we had a perfect, romantic evening.

Thank you, Becco!

I would embarrass myself if i was to recommend this eatery. notice called it a n eatery... have fun musing on that. i cannot call this place an experience i mix with dining out, i went we ate and meh.... bored nearly to expensive tears..
1. the waiter though charming, forgot in 3 minutes my dietary restrictions and went on for a full 3 minutes talking to me about how good the dishes were that.... would make me ill... yeah
2. the 2nd set of staff kept bringing us food meant for other tables, not once or twice, but 3 times.
3. the ingredients for the food looked like they were bought from a "Food Town" blah and ugh... and the Cesar salad looked like Rachael Ray made it in a super fancy plastic salad spinner.
4. the beat salad , well though it might have been tasty if there was enough to more than just sample and fight the vinaigrette dressing for a sense of flavor.
the coffees for the dessert arrived finally and were cold and bitter...just like a road side diner might be like at 1 pm...
Formula dining in it's Sunset. please dont go unless you fell like you deserve to be robbed and fed sub-par food.
the wine was good, yes that was not made there, so i expect it would have been.

Tried the three pasta special for the first time - the first plate was so full that I could not have the seconds that were offered. The basic spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce and basil was my favorite food of the day. The fried calamari appetizer was also excellent. Ending the meal with zabaglione and fresh berries was nice and light and paired well with a cappuccino.

Becco is a price performer and must have for prebroadway lunch. We had not been since October and in all the years coming this was the only poor service experience I ever had.

I frequent Becco but this time I was not in rush to catch a show. Our waiter was a pure delight and was very supportive of us having a long lunch. Very helpful with a wine list and very attentive without us feeling rushed or hovered upon.

My servers name was Mike and he was absolutely phenomenal. Consistently checked up on the table without seeming clingy or annoying. He was hilarious and made great recommendations on what we should order. We ultimately went with all of his choices and we were not disappointed. THANKS MIKE

What I liked: The 3 pastas of the day + Caesar salad is a terrific pre-theater dinner at a reasonable price. The pastas were delicious and all very different. The service was great. We were seated about 15-20 minutes after our reservation time, making us nervous about making it to the theater in time. But when we expressed our concern to the hostess, she immediately notified our waiter and he couldn't have been more accommodating.
What I didn't like: The place was a zoo! It may have been that it was Valentine's Day, so I'd like to go back another time to check it out since the food was worth it. But there was a huge crowd at the entrance and around the bar waiting for their tables. We were seated about 15-20 minutes after our reservation time, though we had gotten there a few minutes early. The crowd never diminished the whole time we were there, and our table was barely out of the crowd of people waiting.
As I said, I think the food and the service were great so I'm going to give the restaurant another chance and would still recommend it, especially if you don't have time constraints.

My hanger steak was warm, not hot. The tri pasta should be brought out all at once on a dish. Depending on when you were served it was not hot. The service for being a holiday was good.

Third visit to Becco...always a great choice while in NYC. Location, service and food is always a great choice. The three pasta selection is always a winner. I enjoy the lemon chicken with mushroom risotto as alternate to the pasta. Always look forward to returning.

This is a great place for dinner or lunch. When I go prescient, I love the tri-pasta special. It comes out quickly and is unlimited. Yum. Gives you e bough time to eat, relax and chat before a show. Love it.

They even put a candle in the biscotti dessert and sang for my friend’s birthday. It was delicious.
