An assortment of marinated & grilled vegetables with assorted seafood
with spicy tomato sauce
It’s a good standby but so busy and crowded. It’s difficult to have a quiet conversation. They do try to be accommodating.
Fabulous food and service!
As good as expected. On our visits to NYC. We always book Becco for our first night. It did not disappoint.
Matinee at 2; dinner at 5; train home at 8. Wonderful day in NYC. We have never been disappointed by Becco.
We loved the food and atmosphere
Always good. Great to be back.
A warm and friendly place with a nice wine list of Italian wines.
Excellent service! We had 5:30 pm dinner reservations and were able to have an amazing dinner (with a glass of wine) and still make our 6:35 pm showtime line up. 😊
Delicious truffle pasta, lemon sautéed chicken was outstanding! Excellent service! Curated italian wines - great value.
Coming back soon!
My wife and I went to Becco after seeing a matinee of the Lion King. What a great dining experience! Our entrees were excellent - I got the short ribs, my wife got a lemon chicken dish. We also added on the pasta special which offered 3 pastas of the day - today's were fettuccini with a marinara sauce, veg lasagna and a rigatoni Bolognese - all amazing. Plus, we ordered a $35 bottle of wine, a sangiovese which was very good. We can wait to return!
Love your restaurant so much and it was a pleasure to be able to come back after 3 years of lockdown. I loved your spinach filled manicotti with the white sauce. It was incredible. I shall try making this for my family. Love new ideas. Overall it was a wonderful dinner from start to finish and I wish I could eat more. Have to try every dish. My husband was very impressed with his choices also. We shall be back and will come in early we loved we had the restaurant to ourselves for a little while .We enjoyed other people sitting next to us but must concentrate on our very bite of your delicious food.
Lidia would not be happy to see Becco in its current state. Messy, unkempt and overcrowded. The pasta special was “ok” and I am certain the raviolis were frozen. It is resting on it’s tired laureates and far from what it once was.
We were out for my birthday. I chose Becco because it’s always fun, the staff are all friendly and the food is always great. It did not disappoint.
Never a disappointing meal at becco. Amazing food and service
We had been looking forward to our dinner at Becco for a month. What a huge disappointment. The food was awful. We had the pasta trio and each one was over salted to the point that we hardly ate anything. Appetizers were disappointing, to say the least. To top it off, we had to hunt down our waiter to get our bill. Boo!
Food was perfect. Service was excellent. Great night out.
The staff at Becco was very understanding about my special needs (partially deaf) and moved my seat to accommodate me without any fuss or bother. For NYC, it represents a value IF you stick to the $35 wine list and the Trio of Pastas (hardly a sacrifice!).
Thought the whole experience was very good. There were 5 of us and we ordered 4 different types of entrees and two bottles of wine and we were all happy with the food and service.
Starters ok, mussels lovely but the meatballs and stuffed peppers were poor, devoid of any seasoning. The tomato sauce was watery.
Highly recommended! The greeter was kind, the bartender friendly, and our waitress Thalia was patient and accommodating with our timeline for our show. The food was authentic and delicious.
Good that Becco has reopened with the Broadway theaters, but the food felt more than ever industrial, mass produced for the tourists, rather than the fine food Lidia Bastianich has shown herself mistress of at Felidia, elsewhere, and formerly at Becco. The pasta trio special was gloppy and mediocre, "cruise ship style," as a neighboring table commented. The friendly wait staff kept up commendably with the crowds. It's a convenient spot pre-theater, but the high-priced food needs a touching up.
Amazing dinner. Food and service were both impeccable. Was taken to our table 10 minutes before our actual reservation. Was asked if we were seeing a show after dinner which we were. Timing of food was perfect. Got done with dinner with time to spare. Never felt rushed. Everyone in our party of seven loved their meal. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Pleasant experience all around! Someone recommended this place to go to before a show. They asked if we had a 7pm show planned and made sure we were out in time to walk to the show!
Food was excellent. We had the lemon chicken and braised short rib with the 3 pastas of the day. All the food was cooked well and tasty! Service was very attentive!
10/10 recommend for a quaint Italian meal!
One of our "go-to" spots in the theater district. Never disappoints.
Fantastic everyone should try Becco they won’t be disappointed
It was very crowded and the tables are practically next to each other. The ambiance overall was basic and the service was a little rushed. The food overall was surprisingly bland and the flavor was not what you would expect. Very disappointing.
If you're headed out of a matinee or having an early dinner before a show, this is the place. Large groups welcome with reservations. Great red sauce offerings, good wine... stop looking — this is it.
Great seeing Becco busy again and great seeing Joe there. Great food as always
We were seated promptly. Ivan our waiter was excellent. The chicken limone was delicious! The 3 pasta special was a favorite of my husbands. Can’t wait to go back.
Buena comida y el servicio en general muy bien. Un poco lleno el lugar. Muy pegadas las mesas una de la otra
Not a fan of the prefixed menu. And we a were really cramped in the corner upstairs had no ambience
If you head to NYC make a reservation. The food and service are outstanding. You will not be disappointed.
The food as usual was great. The service was also wonderful in spite of the fact it was Thanksgiving Day and it was very crowded.
Very good food. Nice atmosphere for couples or families.
Amazing service, incredible food! The Thanksgiving Day meal was fabulous!! Loved it so much! Highly recommend!!
Waiters were very efficient and the food was served quickly. They were terrific with the younger kids and even brought out a birthday dessert🙂
