Amazing! Food was excellent and service outstanding definitely will return.
Dinner after seeing Hamilton on Broadway Saturday night was an afterthought for us...but Becco was much more than an afterthought after all. At 11:30PM the staff was still lively and friendly. Our server was fantastic and the food was really perfect. We ordered several appetizers that were delicious! Good wine list too!
Fantastic evening! With impeccable service and food to die for!! Loved it! We will be back!!
The food was amazing and the low cost bottles of wine are a really nice touch. We had the house Red Sangiovese and it was very good. Excellent food, great ambiance and location convenient to the theaters. You can’t go wrong with this choice.
This is a "get them in and get them out" restaurant, which is on Restaurant Row in the theater district, so that is understandable. However, this is not fine dining nor fine food. The chicken I had and the salmon my husband had were quite ordinary. Nothing special. Not bad, but nothing special. Prices was good by NYC standards
Excellent food and attentive service. Would highly recommend for pre-theater lunch!
Second visit in a week and much improved service and seating in back garden room. Food was awesome. Galleys al forno was excellent as wS pasta course (linguine with clams was the best ever! And artichoke ravioli!) companions had short ribs and lemon chicken. Wine- Badtianich vespa - was awesome too. Absolutely love Becco!
Dining at Becco was a lovely experience. Service was fantastic, food was very good, and the extensive list of $31 bottles of Italian wines was a nice touch.
Went with a few picky teenagers and the restaurant was very accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their food and
The deserts were a big hit. I love this place .
One of the best restaurants in the theater district! It never disappoints. It is a small tight restaurant but the food makes it worth it.
Met family members for the first time. Was given plenty of time to enjoy the good food, good wine, and special company. Knew I could count on them to help me host these out of town era.
Just love this place! Well made, well priced meals. One of our faves during a NYC visit.
Great food! Our server, Troy was a big help with the wine list as well! I can't wait to return!
Excellent quality food. Will be back
We were extremely pleased with everything. Being the restaurant is located in the theatre district, we were expecting it to be "touristy". It was not. They did ask if we were going to a show, just to get the timing straight. We were not and they did not rush us. The food was wonderful and there is something for everyone on the menu. Won't be disappointed.
P.S. The two tables next to us enjoyed their food as well.
Have been to Becca’s many times on trips to nyc...the food is excellent. The service felt a little rushed and it was noisy. But we will return.
We love Beccos asa pre theatre spot. The food is always excellent and the 3 pasta special is a great option!
Wine list has great variety. Espresso gelato was unbelievable. Burrata had a great different take.
The food tasted very. Good Unfortunately of the 4 in our party came down sick. The next morning.
Becco's food just seems to be slipping lately. I've had the swordfish there before and it was a nice thick cut. This time it was super thin, like 1/4 inch, not a restaurant cut at all and not what I would expect from a fairly upscale restaurant. That being said the usual Becco advantages are there: great bread basket, caesar salad included with entrees, long list of decent bottles of wine for $31. They do tend to overbook before theater so make sure you indicated when you have theater in the reservation and remind them when they seat you. This time it was 15 minutes without a menu, I had to go to the bar to ask, then still another ten before the waiter came. Even trying to get the bill was a bit of a chore. Still, considering the other choices in times square, a decent place for dinner.
Lovely evening & delicious food! We enjoyed it all from start to finish. The staff were gracious & welcoming. I had the scallops & they were amazing!
Unlike prior visits. Upstairs room felt touristy. Distracted service. Crowded tables. Specials shared like a robo call
Food delicious as always. I had stuffed peppers and my companion ate short ribs. Seated upstairs which is too crowded and noisy. Service was rushed, even after the pre theater rush.
Seated in the bar area where tables were close and lots going on. This is NYC after all! Waiter was attentive and brought water, bread basket, olives and a lemony dip right away. Ordered one of their 31 dollar bottles of wine, a Sangiovese from Tuscany that was perfect with the food. We passed on the trio of pastas ( looked good) because it was late and ordered lemon chicken, stuffed peppers and polenta with speck. Positive reviews on all! Will go again!
We took customers here for dinner and we were not disappointed. The food and service were spot on.
Great food and service. A winner before a show. Been back many times. Excellent.
Went post-matinee with 7 girlfriends. The $25 Simfonia de Pasta (3 dishes) was delicious! The Wine List for $31 a bottle is unbeatable! Really great time!
Great place for pre/post theater dining. They have a lunch special that gets you in and out quickly.
I have had better experiences there. Service was very slow. It was this one particular waiter.
Let me say overall this place is great.....two downsides, we asked the waiter for $9 pasta plate you can add to your lunch and he said we could order only one. If only one person wants pasta I don’t see what the problem is, it’s not like it’s an unlimited dish or anything. The other thing is we were at the end of the service, ordered 4 coffees, we received the coffee but no sugar cream or spoons.... many patrons had left already and there was no waitstaff available, by the time someone came and brought the cream, the coffee was cold. These things are minor as our general service and food was terrific and this would not keep me from coming back here it was just a little annoying.
Everything was perfect, from the bread basket, stuffed peppers, salad and the fabulous fish
We love Becco, whether for a meal before a show or just for a nice treat!
Great location in the theater area of NYC. As with anything in NY space is a premium. We were close but not cramped. A nice variety on the menu as well as the wine list. The meals were well proportioned as we were eating pre-theatre and didn’t want to be uncomfortable during the show. I was more traditional dining setting with sound buffering ( carpeting on the floor and fabric on the walls) so we could converse with each other.
The food was delicious, but our waiter was arrogant and made our experience less enjoyable!
The restaurants attention to detail was lacking. Our waiter did not come by often and I listed on Open Table that we were there for a special occasion. They never asked or acknowledged. My husband left something behind by accident and we had to wait 15 min or more for a cab and they did not try and find us. You know they turned the table over quickly. Food was good but disappointed in the service.
The restaurant is fairly typical for a Times Square restaurant, fairly crowded and noisy. All was well until a vent started dripping on my wife. The restaurant was slow to react, but did eventually move us to another table. They also comped us for the entire meal. They were a little slow, but did handle the situation professionally.
Fantastic professional and efficient staff. Great food. Excellent and reasonably priced wine choices. staff let us linger with no pressure regarding timing.
