Always a great place to eat after a show. Great service and always good food and plenty of it.
Place is small, but food is awesome. Make reservations cause very popular..Will definitely go back.
Oh gee I loved it. Oh gee oh gee. I loved it so much. Oh gee.
Always a great value if you are in the theater district. Food is consistently good and the wine list prices can’t be beat
I was expecting a better quality of food the place packs you in like sardines and is very uncomfortable seating. It was difficult to understand the waiters accent and he talked very fast obviously in a rush because of such busy service. We ordered the 3 pata special which was OK we only enjoyed one out of 3 of the pastus on the plate. The place was overly crowded at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday and very uncomfortable seating arrangements. Definitely not worth a trip back.
The food was good, with a few minor issues such as one of the breads served on the table was rock hard and one of my pastas (I got the special) was very bland.
The ambiance is nice but the space is tight - my boyfriend got bumped in the back and the head multiple times.
Otherwise, enjoyed it before a show.
After matinee early dinner. The food was great as always. We especially loved where we were seated.
Spaghetti was made with burnt garlic and tasted awful. I could not eat it. The rest of the food was not the best for what I expected based on our last visit that was great.
Great value, excellent entrees and best Italian bread & breadsticks! One of our favorite restaurants on 46th Restaurant Row!
Table for six on 2nd floor a little tight. Needed a round table, a little cramped. Food was awesome.
Becco remains one of our favorite restaurants. We simply will not go to a Broadway show without a late dinner at Becco. Although a busy restaurant we are treated like old friends returning. The pasta special is always terrific however Saturday I had a delicious chicken parm. Their meatballs are phenomenal. The manager Luigi is a sweetheart. It’s a must go to!
It was my husband's birthday so I made a reservation on advance. The food was pretty good, the service was even better. We ordered lamb chops which came with a caesar salad which was pretty good. I have two issues with this establishment, One, the seating is wayyyy to right and two, they did not sing Happy Birthday to my husband as requested ahead of time, but I heard them singing to two other people. I didn't want to get up, because the seating was just that tight and it would have been obvious, but overall it was good. I would go back for lunch, not dinner, just because of how tight the seating is, I've never witnessed anything like it, but we made the best of it.
Fabulous dinner with our newly married children!! We celebrated our 31 year wedding anniversary. Wonderful in all aspects.
They were very nice to accommodate us coming earlier than our reservation.
The best on Restaurant Row
One of our favorite places to eat as a family. Crazy delicious three pastas. Ribeye was perfection. A little on the loud side tonight though not the norm. FABULOUS restaurant!
Prefixe dinner and wine list were great! Perfect for before or after Broadway show
The food was amazing and they had us to our Broadway show on time!
The hosts were quite rude, we had a reservation at 6:00pm and did not seat until 6:10. The area around the hostess stand and the bar was incredibly crowded and unsafe. The food was very salty. Our server was nice but it was just not an enjoyable experience. I would not recommend.
We were in NYC for a broadway show and made a reservation here for a pre-show dinner. In a nutshell we'd come back.
On the plus side, the food is great. A good menu well executed with very reasonable dinner and wine options. The waitstaff tries hard- even making a cocktail for my wife a little out of their normal comfort zone. Little things like bread, olives, anchovies-in caesar salad add up.
The ambience is a little loud, a little hectic, a little crowded. Service seems uneven-- slow at times, rushed at others. For example, drinks were slow to appear once ordered. I wish there'd been a little more time between salad and mains.. but on the whole no big complaints.
.. and hey! they got us to our show on time without being rushed.
I made a reservation for a special birthday dinner for my wife 30 days prior... I also spoke with the restaurant two other times to be sure my plans would be honored. Was assured they would be. All I asked for was a nice quiet table to enjoy dinner with my Wife and son. When we arrived we were seated in the brightest, loudest, busiest and most crowed area of the restaurant at a table barely big enough for two people. When I spoke to a host about my dissatisfaction I was met with an unapologetic attitude of disgust. We were then offered an even worse table. Pathetic. The house staff should be ashamed.
Everything was wonderful except it had been raining all day and the ceiling was leaking and water dropped on my dining guest the entire time. All else was fabulous.
Great I would definitely recommend it. The service was prompt and food was great.
The most interesting and delicious lasagna I have ever tasted. They add cinnamon...and it works.
In the city for the weekend with friends who had never been to Becco. Decided they needed the experience! 😊 While they chose not to do the Sinfonia di Pasta, my husband and I did because... Sinfonia di Pasta! All our meals were excellent as was the wine. Our waiter, Jody C., was great! Clear explanations of the menu for our friends and us, excellent service without hovering but there if we had a question!
Birthday celebration for my husband, food was excellent and the staff were super nice
I have dined at Becco several times before shows. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. The food selection is diverse, fresh and delicious. If in a hurry, the lunch pasta trio bottomless entree is great. The anti pasta that accompanied it is always tasty!
Great food and staff did a nice job accommodating our requests. $35 wine list really rocks!
Accidentally spilled glass of wine on table minutes after being seated. Instead of replacing table cloth waiter placed napkins over spill. Food was average. Service was deplorable and when I only provided a 10% tip waiter actually came back to my table and asked “was everything ok”. Wii mever go back or refer
Excellent service and very good food
Loved Becco for a nice dinner before our show! Great food and service! Nice touch w the breads basket! Salmon and Bass dinners delicious, great service! Would definitely return!
Excellent food and service wait staff friendly Not rushed perfect experience
Overpriced, poor value and exceedingly mediocre. I expected so much more from a restaurant associated with a top Chef like Lydia.
We really enjoy the great food. The best value is NY!
They really have the pre-theater dinner down to a science. Food is solid, classic Italian. The 3 pasta sampler is one of the best deals on Restaurant Row.
Awesome food and great service!!! Great place to eat before seeing a show on Broadway. Highly recommend the daily pasta special!
We had a lovely authentic meal with a delicious bottle of Sangiovasae. My sausage was so reminiscent of my Nona's.
Loved the olives and bread basket that came to the table just as we sat down. This was our second time and will be back many more. Gracie to all....Lydia too!!
Food was good. Seating and atmosphere was comfortable. Price was reasonable and the wait staff was pleasant and very capable.
The wait staff was not responsive and slow . The food was mediocre and the pasta was not tasty
Our waitress was grumpy. My beet salad was delicious but meals were mediocre. A little disappointed. Probably would not recommend or go back. There are sooo many great restaurants in New York. You gotta keep up with the competition.
