Great as always. Perfect for after theater’s
Dinner was fantastic- great value for Restaurant Week
Wine was superb
Looking forward to next time
Always the best the pastas were outstanding, breadbasket soooo good! Service and everything terrific as usual.....
Nino redeemed Becco in my eyes after a less than stellar experience a couple of years ago. The food is magnificent, but servers like Nino make it even better. Highly recommend both the restaurant AND Nino.
One dessert had to be sent back - a brownie that was too hard-frozen to cut into - but absolutely everything else was superb
We arrived a few minutes before our reservation time and were warmly greeted and seated immediately. As in so many NYC restaurants the tables are very close together, but that’s the only ‘negative’. Our waiter was friendly and very attentive. I had the pollo al limone and my husband had parmigiana di pollo. Portion sizes were good and both were delicious. We also had the pear salad, the included Caesar salad, and the ricotta cheesecake. Yum, yum & YUM!! A perfect evening and our favorite meal from our 5 day stay in the city.
As always my meal and everything about Becco was sensational
Delicious food. Great service.
Usually much better
The bread was stale
The seat they put us at was so cold.
The food was good but something was missing.
The dessert I ordered was an Italian cream with fresh mixed berries. It only had strawberries.
The cocktail I had also was subpar.
It just wasn’t what we usually have in terms of experience and quality.
We enjoyed Becco. They accommodated our group of 5 very nicely. The pasta trio is an interesting concept, making for quick service, but doesn't allow for ordering a specific pasta dish as you can at most Italian restaurants. Very good value however with very reasonable priced and good wines.
Family trip to NYC - menu was good for all ages. Food and service great
I have been going to Becco as long as any client they have- Continually brining new friends and guests - NEVER has any one said it is not the best experience for quality Italian Food. - Joe- Lidia and Billy are Pros- as is the entire staff.
What a great place! Food was amazing, service was great, ambience and just the right amount of chatter!
Great meal for our twin daughters birthday, we can’t wait to go back!
Excellent service ; delicious food!!
I love going to Becco. Our waiter was attentive and patient most of the time, but seemed annoyed when I asked for a menu for my daughter who was in the bathroom at the time. I guess I should not have gotten out of my seat, approached another table where he was standing, and politely asked, "excuse me, may I have another menu?" The prompt and curt response was, "when your whole part is seated, I will drop off another menu". Just think he could have been more professional. Wait staff was however, overall fine. Food scrumptious.
Great service. Food was above average but not spectacular.
Some of the best Italian food we have ever enjoyed! Service is exceptional!
My sis introduced us to Becco’s several years ago. She’s been going there for 25+ years. The service is seamless. The drinks are great ( love the blood/orange martini or any special martini). My branzino with potatoes & leek was exceptional. Love, love Becco’s.
We had a restaurant week meal and it was delicious. Would have picked it even if it wasn’t a special. Pastas we’re amazing and the salmon was cooked perfectly.
Becco is AMAZING. The best pasta, wonderful service, incredible sea food antipasto, and you can’t beat the freshness. You also cannot beat the price of the Pasta Symphony. My favorite Italian in all of midtown!
Trio pasta for the night was bland. Red marinara sauce was simple tomatoe sauce. I guess you should go with something made from the menu and not something made in bulk for the "all you can eat" group.
Pre theater dinner.
Pastas were not what I remember from pre Covid experiences… was it due to rising food prices… was it due to restaurant week and cutting back on the pastas because they added another course? I don’t know the answer but pasta was a pile of wide white noodles with no flavor… sad not what I remember
Food was amazing. Daily pasta so fresh! Limited menu but still good options - just don’t expect the menu online. Wine was wonderful and a good pour. Per other reviews, the 2-top tables are so small and so close together, but we were expecting that (thanks to previous reviews). Would definitely return especially if seeing a show. Good location and quick service.
Everything was wonderful! Service was excellent, they got us in and out to go see the play we had booked. Food was fantastic, very generous amounts! Would absolutely recommend!
Awesome as usual!! You can’t go wrong here. Everything is delicious 😋
The food is always good but the service is rushed. We got our drinks and before we could take 2 sips, our appetizers were served. We hadn’t even finished those and our main course was served. Also the table for 2 is too small.
As always, the quality of the food at Becco is outstanding and the service is superb. The value is great for a restaurant on Restaurant Row in Manhattan. This is one of my go-to restaurants. I am never disappointed.
Anniversary dinner before the theatre. Food is good I could eat there every night.
Becco is a staple for me when I visit NYC. It never dissapoints.
Becco is a well-oiled machine. The three course meal was served at a perfect pace and the wine was excellent. I’ve never had food elicit a tearful response, but the ravioli with butter sage sauce brought tears to my eyes. Highly recommend!
Took my friend for his birthday. One of the best meals we ever had.
Food was excellent!!!, service was outstanding, pasta is the way to go !!! Apps were outstanding as well
Overall food was only a little better than average. Caesar salad was very good, baked shrimp appetizer lacked flavor. I had the Pepperoni Ripieni, it was very good and the portion was generous. The Zuppa di Pesce Misto portion size was more like an appetizer, too small. My daughter left hungry. My wife had the Costolette Brasate which was flavorful, but not particularly lean. A lot of work to trim and not a large portion of meat. Deserts were very good. The sorbet, Gelato and Cheese cake were very good. House cabernet was also quite good. The service was very attentive and prices were reasonable for Manhattan. Overall, I was a little disappointed in and expected more from a restaurant of this pedigree. May try again, as the pasta dishes looked amazing. I would not recommend to a friend at this point.
Becco is one of our favorite restaurants anywhere. We have at least one meal there every time we come to NYC. The Symphony of Pasta's is a favorite as is the Osso Buca, appetizers are excellent as are the desserts. The $35 wine list never disappoints. In all the times we have been at Becco we have never had a bad meal or service. Highly recommend!
We were in the upstairs small front room this time which isn’t great, felt like the kids room. Have been there before and the other rooms are much better
Had a wonderful pre-theater dinner. All entrees come with Caesar salad - one of the best Caesar dressings I’ve had in a while. I had the chicken parm - very good. Another guest had seafood special with polenta- he enjoyed it. The 3rd guest had the chef’s sinfonia de pasta - you get 3 different pastas of the day. Pastas we’re fresh and delicious- one rigatoni dish, one linguine, and then a lasagne. All three hit the spot on a cold night.
Becco is a very fine place--except for the obvious--way too crowded.
Great as always! This is our “go-to” restaurant when we go to the theater and we’re never disappointed. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced.
