Omg. The food was amazing!
We were there celebrating my wife’s birthday after a show. Our waiter was very helpful with guiding me which entree would be good for me since I have a food allergy. Both of my daughters and my wife also had satisfying meals. We enjoyed the full dining experience.
Fantastic dinner! Amazing service!
Amazing food and service
Not for native New Yorkers. This place is for tourists. The tables are packed in tightly and are so close it is uncomfortable. I am not sure what the hype is about because I was underwhelmed by the food as well.
Great service and food!
They were very welcoming, could have done without the phoney Italian accents as two of our party were non-native English speakers. Food was mostly good, we had the sinfonia di pasta which consisted of a fairly good fettuccine Bolognese, a watery, slightly manky rigatoni and a divine baked pasta shells filled with cheese. The 3 stars for the food is because of the rigatoni. The others and starters were great.
Our experience was perhaps marred slightly by the fact that we were under time pressure as we were due at the theatre, and two of our guests were delayed from the airport, neither of which were the restaurant’s fault. I’d like to go back sometime when I’m not under pressure of time and explore the menu a bit more.
They know how to do it. Large restaurant but able space between tables.
This was an amazing Italian Restaurant; from the food to the wine we were impressed. Both my wife and myself ordered the unlimited pasta entree and it came with three different pastas plus a salad! We walked away with full bellies and if we will ever be back to NY we will go back her FOR SURE!
We regularly visit Becco for a con
This restaurant has been highly recommended and it did not disappoint. When we got there they asked us what show we were seeing to make sure we got out of there in time. The food was amazing and service just as great. Can’t wait to go back
Tables very cramped together .
I've been to Becco twice. Both times it was amazing. This time I ordered the pasta special which was so good and fresh! The homemade pasta was very good - as were the sauces. The appetizer special was so different and the tastes were like an explosion in my mouth of awesomeness - if that makes sense. Lidia is so talented and she makes even peasant food taste so good and fresh - different from anything I've ever eaten before. I feel like I know her lol as I've watched her show for years. She makes it look easy, which I know it is not. I look forward to going to Becco another time in the near future!
Food was good. Overall experience was good. Our waiter was a bit of a fast talker. Rattled through the specials so fast, our heads were spinning! The waiters sang happy birthday! The drinks were good. Disappointed that the only pasta offerings were that Sinfonia thing, which didn’t seem appealing.
Becco has been our favorite go to spot for pre-theater dining, however yesterday’s dining experience was a bitter disappointment. The service and ambience were perfect but the food was terrible. The chicken parmigiana had no taste and neither did the three pastas which were also very cold.
Nevertheless, Becco is still a favorite and we will be back. Perhaps it was an off day.
Good food, good service and near the theatres. Great day.
Servers are busy as the place is packed very tightly. We were there pre-theater so there wasn't an empty table in the house. That said, the food is very good and it comes quickly and it's hot when delivered. Would go again because of its convenience to the theater but wouldn't go if I weren't going to the theater.
Very very nice. Timely to get to 2pm theatre.
Anniversary. This place is always the best value for quality in Manhattan. Especially the wine list and pasta!
Arrived on time for reservation at 5:45 and still had to wait about 15 min to be seated. Service was good and food was delicious and cooked perfectly. A bit crowded in dining room. Nice for quick pre theater dinner but doubt I would want to have a celebration or leisurely dinner here. Food is excellent.
Great pasta trio dinner. Nice Sangiovese wine and a picture with Joe. Is there anything better.
We Love Becco! This is a superb restaurant ideally located for pre-theater dining. Service has always been prompt and professional. Food is delicious! Will always come here first when coming into NYC for Broadway stuff.
Great food and service always!
Quality service and food with a very diverse wine list. The $35 wine list offered excellent value and a quality selection.
BRAVO! Really lovely and close to the theatre. Very glad to have found Becco and will return.
We had a great preshow dinner. The pasta was amazing!
Incredible food and service - we had a fabulous table in the front upstairs alcove; quiet and private. Thank you!
Fabulous food!!! Wonderful service....an amazing experience!
Everything was great. From cocktails before dinner to service and food. A little tight with not much space between tables on both sides of us.
It is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. I've been wating there for over 20 years. The food is always amazing. The service is top notch even accommodating a vegetarian for the price fixe 3 pasta deal in my group the last time. The main reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it seems to get more crowded with every visit and is extremely noisy. I wish they would remove a few of the tables they've crammed into the top floor and install some noise reduction tech.
Best Italian we ate in Manhattan. Loved the 3-pasta all-you-can-eat for just $25.
Good was delicious. Service was good. Wine was great also.
Exceptional service and food. Close to theater district and an excellent pre-show experience.
Unfortunately this visit to Becco was disappointing. Both entrees were so salty that we could barely finish our food. Such a disappointment as I have eaten here many times and enjoyed my meal.
food is always very good, just dining room was very cold upstairs and service was slow
A plus. Great everything!
It was an OK Italian restaurant. We came based on reviews and I was a little disappointed. The service was the best part. They have crammed tables into every spare inch of space, so having privacy in your conversation was non-existent where we were seated. It was out in a balcony-like area upstairs. They had 4 tables in there when there should have been 3 max.
The food wasn’t remarkable. I had the 3 pasta special. The pesto and green beans was -meh! Green beans had NO seasoning, pesto sauce was good. The penne and shrimp was good, the mushroom-stuffed ravioli was ok.
Bottom line, for the money, I wouldn’t recommend it.
We had a wonderful dinner at Becco. No surprise, it’s alway great Fabulous food , service and a great corner table. One of the best in any city.
My boyfriend and I came to Becco’s for our seven year anniversary and had a wonderful experience! I’d been once before with my family (2006), and that previous positive experience stayed with me for all these years. I’m happy to write that it’s still as warm, welcoming and delicious as I remember!
We both ordered the “pasta symphony,” which are three daily pasta preparations, and they were delicious! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, and we had a perfect, romantic evening.
Thank you, Becco!
