Great service and very attentive. Our waiter was outstanding and we hope to see him again. We all love the Caesar salad, the mixed seafood/fish in brodo and the Three pastas. We dine at Becco almost every month
Pasta trio was great! Service good. This is family style dinning. Neighboring tables are close, but food is excellent. If you are a party between 2-4 most likely you will be seated near door. But again, food is great.
Double cut pork chop and beef short ribs. Excellent!! Fried calamari, little spicy but crispy and delicious!!
We have been to Becco several times in the past when going to the theater. We have always loved the food and the service. It was always very busy and loud but we are in NYC! We were excited to take our three kids there for their first time at the theater. We had a 12 reservation. We were seated right away which was great. It was the first time ever seated upstairs. We waited over an hour for our food and had to rush to the theater. The service was terrible. Took a long time to order drinks and food. Our kids were miserable. The food was good but could have been hotter and the all you can eat pasta was difficult to get. My alcoholic drinks were not good either, peach martini and French martini tasted nothing like they usually do. My kids were so excited as they live fresh pasta but this was a huge disappointment and we will be trying someplace else next time.
Love the unlimited pasta and $35 wine! Great food at a great restaurant!
For a crowded Friday evening, service and food were excellent. Definitely would return especially for the pasta specials.
Food was amazing. The waiter failed to mention the lobster special. Had he mentioned it 2 of us would have ordered it.
Service was perfect and the food never disappoints!
Sat early, tables on top of each other people banging into us. Ordered porterhouse medium rare and it came rare had to be refuted so now we were rushing. Our waiter Joey was very nice and our $35.00 superb.
Other then that big disappointment.
Greeted at the door immediately . They were expecting us and brought us to our table within 2 minutes. Wait staff and food was great. Tables are close and we got into a big discussion with folks on both sides of us. Great pre theater meal.
Excellent food and service. Tables are very close and it’s fairly noisy since most seem to be excited as they eat before a show. Overall, we enjoyed it and would definitely go back. We were watching our time as we were going to a play but they made sure we finished in time. Got there at 6 for an 8:00 show. Out at 7:30.
Wonderful meal before our show! Attentive service and received a free dessert when our appetizer did not come in a timely manner. Food was delicious and plentiful. Would highly recommend!
Went to Becco, pre theatre. Heard the food was good and it seemed like had a broad menu and was reasonably priced for the area.
We had a 5:15 reservation on a Friday nite. We were seated right away. Space was very tight. Table was very small. Took a while for the wait staff to come by. The place got super busy and we did feel a bit neglected. We had allowed plenty of time, so we weren’t worried
I had thought about the 3 pasta special, however, one of the pastas had scallops and I’m not a fan. We started with a special calamari salad, which we split. It was tasty. Next we were served the Caesar Salad, which was included with our entrees. The portion was very generous and it was light and tasty
I selected the salmon with brussel sprouts and it was delicious. My husband had the Joes Veal Chop. It was a large piece of veal on top of garlic mashed potatoes with a side of asparagus. He could not finish the entire entree. We skipped dessert
The food is always amazing. Staff super friendly & always great. Guillermo was our waiter & he was fantastic. Will be asking to sit at his table again! Ceasar at the bar is excellent! Great wine recommendations very professional & courteous. Excellent bartender!
Becco is always my Go-To restaurant when attending the theater or doing anything in the area. The food is consistently excellent. The service is always warm and friendly, they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable yet well cared for.
👍 Polenta with Speck
👍 Burrata with Brócoli rabe tips
👍 The mozzarella carroza
👍 The $35 wine list (which Is an entire page)
👍 The Pollo limone
👍 The Duck, when it’s on the menu
👍 The Calves liver! OMG delicious!
👍 The Porterhouse Steak for 2 or more.
👍 The Pasta Trío
👍Torte di Zabaglione e Cioccolato
And a nice Moscato!
Table not available until 15 min after reservation time. Waiter was not terribly attentive. Meal felt like a factory meal. Appreciate $35 wine menu.
Food is always delicious and service on point. Table ready in time and they time everything perfectly.
We eat here often before theater and have done so for years. Love the food, service and old world charm.
Always a great meal!
Micheal was our waiter and his knowledge, table presence, and excellence made our visit the best. I was so appreciative as my dear friends from North Carolina had an extraordinary experience. Whenever coming into the city my family always make a stop.
Gary was a great waiter and very attentive. Nino, my regular waiter came by to say hi and check in on me. i make sure i eat at Becco whenever I'm in NYC especially if a solo dinner.
Eh, just okay. Service was good and attentive but the food was really nothing special. I had the polenta with black truffle and a fried egg on top (best part was the truffle and egg). The polenta was bland, no salt. Veal piccata was overdone but did come with a nice garlicky side of sautéed spinach. Overall my impression was that Becco was overpriced for food that was not that special. It’s a “one and done” for me.
Service was quick and efficient. Food was excellent. Very noisy pre theater but after 7:30 it was quiet.
Whenever in NYC, Becco is a must stop for dinner on a non-theatre night so we can enjoy ourselves and enjoy all that BECCO has to offer. Service is always exceptional and the food and choices are top notch. We have recommended Becco to many, many people and all have come away sating it is one of the best experiences they have have.
Outstanding in everyway. Sat on time, service was excellent and attentive and food was delicious and wonderful as always. Also, out the door on time for our 7pm show. They know how to manage the pre-theater dinner. Highly recommend.
went for a pre-show dinner. They wanted to put us behind a table of 8, which I could not get to (I am not a large person), so requested to be moved. The next table was fine, but the table wobbled and could not be stabilized. The meal, a trio of unlimited select pastas was very good, and reasonable for NYC.
PRE THEATER DINNER FOR TWO. TABLES ARE PLACED CLOSE AS IN ALL NYC RESTAURANTS, BUT NO WHERE NEAR AS TIGHT AS OTHER RESTAURANTS. WELL PACED SERVICE TO GET YOU OUT ON TIME FOR A SHOW, BUT NOT RUSHED. SERVICE ATTENTIVE AND FRIENDLY. MANAGER WALKED AROUND CHECKING ON DINERS. OBSERVED CAREFUL ASSISTANCE GIVEN TO OFFER ACCESS TO A HANDICAPPED PATRON.
COMPARED TO OTHER PLACES IN NYC, GREAT VALUE. THREE PASTA SPECIAL VERY REASONABLE. BRAISED SHORT RIB PRICED AS EXPECTED. SPECIALTY COCKTAIL PRICE AS EXPECTED.
46TH ST PERFECT LOCATION FOR BROADWAY SHOWS.
Part of our NYC 50th anniversary celebrations!
A favorite NYC dining spot for many years now. Love the 3 pasta special and the price fixed wine. It's not a trip to the city until we eat at Becco. Have recommended to family and friends and they have fallen in love with the place too.
Great food and very reasonably price wine!! Friendly servers too
This was the third time I’ve been to Becco and so far have always enjoyed our visit! My wife and daughter Fish and it was done perfectly and I had the pasta special which I always enjoy.
They will squeeze you in & tables on top of each other....you will feel somewhat rushed even though you are Not going to a show....people work hard all week want to chill eat and relax....
Dinner after Broadway show which was Christmas present for my wife. We had Dinner previously at Pecos and we are well aware of how good the quality of food was at the restaurant.
The restaurant is a definite recommendation when in the area attending a Broadway show.
Becco is a great little restaurant on Restaurant Row. Pasta, chicken and steak- all great! The 3 pasta dish is unlimited and a great deal. We would go again!
Very tasty from the breadstick/bread basket to the entree.
Fun and delicious dinner with family after a show.
Overall Becco was average and nothing special - the service could of been a little more attentive. The main highlight of the meal was the meatballs we ordered as apps but came out after our meal....
All in all we had a great experience at Becco. It was a busy sunday evening - 5pm - and they took us upstairs to be seated. This was fine except there was a family with a very small child allowing the child to run around which was not the evening I hoped for. The waiter was helpful in explaining the menu and why they did not have regular coffee only Espresso and Capuccino, oh and Latte.
I still dont get why Lavazza Regular coffee would not be good... I have had it and like it very much.
I found the food to be very tasty and quite good and a menu with lots of choices including specials...all reasonably priced! Nice portions although we could not take any leftovers with us since we were going to see a play. My adult daughter and I enjoyed it and I would definitely return with other friends. Im very glad I decided to try Becco's
One of my favorite restaurants in Manhattan!! Great food and service, close to everything
